We called several RV technicians that the campground recommended and they couldn't get to us right away - one even quoted us an emergency flat rate of $350 to make an emergency trip + $395/hour (1 hour minimum) to diagnose and repair the problem, they would've shown up 8 hours later. While we were calling RV techs, we had left a VM for Marty's Mobile RV Repair and he called back while we were calling around - he was driving around the campground looking for us! He was there within 20 minutes of our call looking for us and he was totally prepared to diagnose and fix the problem right away! He spent a couple of hours chasing our power failure and he found it and fixed it before we had major problems with the month's worth of food in the freezer. He also worked with my husband for repair tips on the various fuses that were involved in the diagnostic process and solved the problem. We were in week 1 of a 4 week trip and he was amazing, responsive and super friendly. Add to that he was incredibly reasonable price-wise and also gave us some touristing tips for things to see on our travels. This otherwise painful event was made as pleasant as possible by the professional staff at Floyd's. They allowed us to stay in our coach in their well-lit lot and even provided power while we waited for parts. The facility is in a newer area--open, clean, and safe. A breakdown like this while on vacation is stressful and expensive, so finding a welcoming repair facility with understanding staff was incredibly refreshing. I also never told you we were financially struggling. That's not something I said, nor would I ever say to a stranger, and I don't know why it's being presented as if I did? As for the outcome: the fridge doesn't work at all now! We've been using coolers with ice since, and we've now hired another company to try to fix it properly. We paid you $450 and left with a non-functional refrigerator, which was the entire point of the call. A repair that leaves a customer with a non-functional fridge, blatently makes up false information in reponse to a negative review and then requires hiring another company to fix it, speaks for itself...
