We called several RV technicians that the campground recommended and they couldn't get to us right away - one even quoted us an emergency flat rate of $350 to make an emergency trip + $395/hour (1 hour minimum) to diagnose and repair the problem, they would've shown up 8 hours later. While we were calling RV techs, we had left a VM for Marty's Mobile RV Repair and he called back while we were calling around - he was driving around the campground looking for us! He was there within 20 minutes of our call looking for us and he was totally prepared to diagnose and fix the problem right away! He spent a couple of hours chasing our power failure and he found it and fixed it before we had major problems with the month's worth of food in the freezer. He also worked with my husband for repair tips on the various fuses that were involved in the diagnostic process and solved the problem. We were in week 1 of a 4 week trip and he was amazing, responsive and super friendly. Add to that he was incredibly reasonable price-wise and also gave us some touristing tips for things to see on our travels. We needed some work done on our motorhome while staying in Spearfish. We started communicating…read morewith several dealerships in the area by email. This was the only one that eventually accomplished scheduling our appointment. But we did have to call them a couple of times to keep the communication going. This dealership also offered an overnight site with electric (and a few with water) as our repairs was expected to take two days. There were a couple of issues with the site. First, we called on Saturday to confirm there would be a site available for our Sunday arrival. The dealership didn't show us on the schedule for repairs but they cleared a site for us. However they couldn't guarantee the spot would still be open when we arrived as they are closed on Sunday. Only a few of the sites could reach the limited number of water connections. The electric service was only 30 AMP. Many of the sites seemed to used by unoccupied RV's. So don't rely on there being a site for use by patrons getting service done. As for the repairs/service, they accomplished the required repairs/service as promised. They kept us informed of the progress. They even had some other parts in stock so we were able to get on the road a day early. We would return to them for repairs/service if ever in the area again.

Andre happened to talk to the RV park owner and she told Andre what I had done. Andre came by and looked at the damage and re-assured me the damage looked worse than it actually was. While there was nothing Andre himself could do for me, he had referrals to a great body repair shop, and a welding fabrication shop that could repair my brace on the midship jack. I couldn't recommend Andre more as he was very knowledgeable and willing to look at the damage as a neighborly gesture!

Most of the time his response was I don't know. I'll have to get back with you. Clue #1. 2. While considering the purchase, the sales rep never called to see if I had any lingering question or concerns. 3. After weighing my options and was in the finance office, the F&I representative didn't listen to options I wanted. He just kept pushing his Good Sam crap. He also failed to notate the monthly timeframe I needed to make the payments. 4. The "orientation" for the camper focused more on the amenities of the camper more than the necessities. That worked out well setting it up for the first time. SMH 5. Post sale contact has been none. As for Keystone 1. Their quality control is absent at the factory. Door frames are not plumb. So now I'll have to go and get them right myself. The paint around the toy hauler ramp wasn't primed prior to painting. Now the paint is flaking off and rust is visible on the bare metal. 2. 30 days into ownership, and I have a laundry list of warranty items. The confidence I have in Camping World makes me just want to hire somebody that is independent just to avoid darkening their doors ever again. Under different circumstances where I wasn't under the time constraints I was under at the time, I would've walked away. But the fog of stress drowns out the warnings of our common sense. To sum up, if you're looking to buy an RV, avoid Camping World like the plague. Lazy and unprofessional would provide an accurate opinion of a majority of the people I dealt with. And after posting this, I read some of the other reviews. My feeling is confirmed by the blanket CS team response which is probably AI generated.
