We called several RV technicians that the campground recommended and they couldn't get to us right away - one even quoted us an emergency flat rate of $350 to make an emergency trip + $395/hour (1 hour minimum) to diagnose and repair the problem, they would've shown up 8 hours later. While we were calling RV techs, we had left a VM for Marty's Mobile RV Repair and he called back while we were calling around - he was driving around the campground looking for us! He was there within 20 minutes of our call looking for us and he was totally prepared to diagnose and fix the problem right away! He spent a couple of hours chasing our power failure and he found it and fixed it before we had major problems with the month's worth of food in the freezer. He also worked with my husband for repair tips on the various fuses that were involved in the diagnostic process and solved the problem. We were in week 1 of a 4 week trip and he was amazing, responsive and super friendly. Add to that he was incredibly reasonable price-wise and also gave us some touristing tips for things to see on our travels. She and her husband travel with their family while doing inspections. I asked her lots of questions and she was extremely patient and knowledgeable. We hadn't seen the RV in person yet, so she was flexible in even waiting to find out for sure whether we would still be interested in buying it - all the way until the night before! When we ultimately ended up canceling the purchase, and thus the inspection, she was very understanding and not at all annoyed or frustrated. Then we changed our minds again (how annoying we were!)! They were still willing to come out and do a shorter inspection that morning. They had already planned to leave that day, so they could no longer do the full regular inspection, but they did a modified and still thorough shorter inspection. This gave us peace of mind that we were making a good choice and also some things to ask the dealer to repair first. They noticed everything down to a missing screw. Both Lindsay and her husband are certified NRIVA inspectors and really know what they are doing. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to call them again when we buy a rig in the future. He billed our manufacturer and they covered the whole bill! Not everyone is this fortunate, so we were very pleased and surprised. Almost 2 months later the fan in the bathroom stopped working again. Miles came over promptly and he took out the circuit to send into the manufacturer . They agreed to replace the fan completely because our camper is still in warranty. Miles lets me know when he can come over and respects my nap time for my son . Sometimes he is hard to get a hold of . He must be busy. Update: He just ordered the fan and will replace it soon. While there was nothing Andre himself could do for me, he had referrals to a great body repair shop, and a welding fabrication shop that could repair my brace on the midship jack. I couldn't recommend Andre more as he was very knowledgeable and willing to look at the damage as a neighborly gesture!
