We assessed the situation and he found the wires in the slide that were damaged and pinching due to wear. He bought replacement wire and connectors and came later that afternoon evening and removed the bad wiring for both AC and DC circuits in the slide!!! We tested everything out and all checked ok!!! To date we have been able to spend a total of 2 nights in it as it has been back and forth between Spearfish and the dealership for repairs. We have made a total of four round trips of 102.4 miles to have essentially the same problem fixed. To make matters worse, the trailer still is not functional so another 102.4 mile round trip is in the works. We purchased this camper expressly to get away from the insanity of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally only to find ourselves having to tow a trailer through the madness four times. My advice is to think twice about purchasing a state of the art camping trailer from an automobile dealership. We will update this review and rating next week upon satisfactory completion of repair work and compensation for our time and mileage.
