It was a cool, laid back environment. Pizza was pretty good with awesome crust. The service was not great. It took 20 minutes to get our drink order, food came in out in a normal time. They checked on us one time and we asked for refills but never got them. We won't be back.

Super disappointed with a pizza spot that Dave Portnoy gave an 8 to. I wanted crispy coal fired pizza but instead ended up with a doughy, undercooked pizza. The toppings were good though, I will say that. The meatball appetizer was not great. The sauce was bland and bright red. No body to it. A good meatball will fall apart if you try to cut it. These were rock solid. I think they make these as cheaply as possible. Reminded me of a Subway meatball, which is the worst you can get. The staff was pleasant. Nothing above the ordinary. The interior was nice. Overall it was like Olive Garden in a pizza restaurant. Not my favorite spot.

Jack's just isn't as good if you aren't sitting down in the restaurant itself. There is something about it where it needs to be piping hot in order to be at its best. But thankfully, Jack's thrives on the decor and ambiance inside. It's kind of speak-easyish when you walk in, in few ways does it feel like a pizza joint. But that's what they are known for and probably 90% of its customers are there to indulge in. The chairs are very cool looking, a throwback to say the 50s or 60s. Bright red with high backs to them. They have both high tops and low tops for families to enjoy like ours. And of course an almost always busy bar on the right as you walk in. The pizza is stellar with super fresh tomato sauce, cooked perfectly crispy as you want for a bit of a crunch. The truffle fries with chipotle aioli are superb. And to round out a quick meal, go with the Romaine salad. Just the right balance of parm pieces, bread crisps and a hint of anchovy. There is not much you can go wrong with here. I need to try out the drink menu sometime sans kids. But man are we all big fans. Dine-in like I said for the best pizza experience not to be missed in this general area.

I was hoping for a Frank or Sally apizza, being coal fired. What I got was average pizza that was just ok. I was the only one in the restaurant, which was very nice, but lots of real estate to fill. If you can find the restaurant, don't trust Google Maps, then eat here. If you can't find it, you are not missing anything special.

The food was good! We had the lemon herb rubbed wings with a side of ranch (to die for!! Super herby and creamy!) and blue cheese (good but not too strong), the wings were great, could use a little more rub and lemon on them but they were so crispy and fresh I'd get them again! 2 pizzas as well. One was the carnivore, very filling but I wish the sausage was broken into smaller pieces instead of huge chunks and spread around more and perhaps thicker pepperoni, overall the flavor was pretty darn good. And we had the polpetta, the meat ball was absolutely delicious as was the creamy ricotta, the carmelized onion had a bit of a funk to it almost sour but still edible. It just kinda threw off the overall flavor of the pie. All in all I would go back and try some other menu items! The waitress was very sweet and made sure to check in on us. And the interior was beautiful, nice and dark with red seats, I enjoyed the ambiance! Especially loved that o could see into the kitchen!

Great spot to pregame for hockey down the street! Attentive bartenders...great food...can't go wrong!! One of the best bloodys in Burlington!

$55 to order a lg cheese pizza with no sauce or cheese and a Caesar salad that takes up 1/4 of the container it comes in... Included a 20% tip to get it delivered and I get this for a salad, lettuce is not that costly guys... Why would you offer a salad and give this amount of lettuce. Three maybe four "croutons" (notice how you can't see any) This is insane. Quality went down hill and I hate to say it, never again. Keep away until they fix this quality issue.

A…read morenumber of other reviewers have commented that "things have changed", and I, unfortunately, agree. Visited on a Saturday evening - the place should be packed, but it wasn't. I easily secured a same day bar seat reservation for 8PM. After checking in, was seated at a half empty downstairs bar. No physical menus, everything was done via a QR which is fine I guess, but for a spot that positions itself as a premiere bar a bit tacky. The online menu on the public website is the only menu and where the QR takes you. I asked for a spirits list (logical for a cocktail forward bar), I got a quizzical look and a shrug of the shoulders in return. Given the menu was only 8 cocktails, picking from those I started with the Beachcomber Mai Tai for a whopping $18. This, if it's the true spec, should be a rum forward cocktail with 2 1/2 oz of rum. They batch their cocktails (not a problem) so I couldn't see their build, but there is absolutely no way this drink is made to specification - my guess is they are skimping on rum as a cost play, batching lets them get away with it. Drink was, frankly, pretty forgettable - not bad, just unremarkable. Wanting to see how they could do off-menu, I asked the bartender to make me a Hemingway Daiquiri. Now, for a cocktail bar that has a long history of rum centric and tiki leaning cocktails, this should be an off the top of their head cocktail. It's simple - white rum, lime and grapefruit juice, and maraschino liqueur. Bartender had never heard of it before, and then spent a few minutes staring in to his phone presumably looking up the recipe. He built it using Rhum JM white rum which is absolutely the wrong rum for this drink - it needs a white Cuban rum (which we know we can't get in the U.S.), so the usual sub would be Bacardi, Planteray 3 stars, Probitas, or others. Definitely not a Martinique agricole. This may be a too detailed nit for some, but with the framing that this is supposed to be a premium cocktail bar, this is an error that should not happen, and not for $18. Figuring the third time might be a charm, ordered the Trader Vic 1944 Mai Tai. This is the classic, the standard against which all others are measured. It's a distinct recipe, especially if you call yours the 1944 Mai Tai. This was not that. It was again light on rum with probably the wrong rums used in their blend. It was also substantially over dosed with orgeat making the almond sweetness an almost overpowering flavor versus playing a subtle supporting actor role. Again, swing and a miss. Drinkable if you like sweet, and don't mind hefty almond. But if you want to try the real Mai Tai - this is not it. Overall, for the price, fairly indifferent bar service, lack of information available to the customer (e.g., spirits list, etc.), and fairly off the mark cocktails I think you can find far better spots right now for that same money. If you definitely want that tiki inspired cocktail vibe - your better bet will be places like Wusong Road in Cambridge or Shore Leave in Boston, and I'm sure there are others. Sorry Baldwin Bar, you've lost your edge and it shows.

We had a good sized crowd so they basically gave us the run of one of the bar areas (we were in the wine bar). Table seating, couch seating and room to stand around. We ordered a big selection of various appetizers and everyone was very happy with the food. They had it all laid out and labeled nicely. Drinks were good, but you do have to travel bar to bar - wine at the wine bar, cocktails at the speakeasy, etc so grabbing a few drinks for others is a little more of a process - but I think this is better for a small group because you get that ambiance of whatever you're looking for. We're all pretty local and a fair amount of us had never been in before - but everyone was making plans to come back to hang out again. There are three key elements to a successful, well-rounded Yelp review--food, service, and…read moreambiance--and Krave earned a gold star in every single one. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Both simple and deeply nuanced, every dish I tried offered a fresh, elevated take on a familiar favorite. Each bite was packed with flavor, making for a truly memorable dining experience. The shrimp tacos, for instance, were a seafood lover's dream--perfectly grilled shrimp paired with crisp, fresh vegetables and a creamy taco sauce, all wrapped in warm tortillas filled to the brim. As for the mozza balls, they were a revelation. Hot and crispy on the outside, generously dusted with fresh Parmesan, and bursting with rich, creamy mozzarella inside. The crust was so perfectly crunchy that even Sonic's legendary mozzarella sticks would have some serious competition. These golden bites of cheesy perfection were nothing short of divine. The fried shrimp were enormous and cooked to absolute perfection, encased in a flavorful, perfectly crispy batter. They were incredible on their own--so much so that the accompanying dipping sauce, while a nice touch, was completely unnecessary. The bruschetta was warm and fluffy, topped with juicy, perfectly ripened tomatoes and a generous handful of fresh, peppery arugula, all drizzled with rich, warm olive oil. There was plenty to share--but it was so good, you wouldn't want to. The food was so insanely good that I was kraving more before I even made it home--seriously, I considered turning the car around halfway just for another bite. The service was top-notch from the moment we sat down. Our server greeted us before we even had our chairs pulled out, welcomed us to Krave, handed us menus, and took our drink orders right away. She was back quickly with full glasses and a friendly smile. When we ordered appetizers, she kept us updated on their progress, making sure we never had to wonder when they'd arrive. Attentive, efficient, and genuinely welcoming--it doesn't get much better than that. She kept that same level of service throughout our entire visit--never missing a beat. Our glasses stayed full, our table stayed clear, and we never had to ask for a thing. This was the kind of service that makes you want to tip extra extra. The ambiance was perfect--Krave has the chill vibe down to a science. Relaxed atmosphere, great lighting, comfy seating, and just the right level of background noise to keep things lively without being overwhelming. If my kids hadn't been with me, I could've easily made myself at home at the bar for the afternoon. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I usually try to visit a new restaurant every time I go out, just to keep things interesting. But Krave might have just messed up that plan--it's definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to places.
