We're new to Woburn and had asked around a lot to find the "best pizza" in town. We ordered from a few of those places at first, but honestly I don't even remember any of them now. We grabbed a pie from Pizza Market one night out of convenience (it's the closest to our house!) when we had last minute guests, and our search has concluded. THIS IS GOOD PIZZA. Always hot, always fast (even for delivery!), and always delicious. I'd characterize it as thin crust and "new york style" as the crust is delicious. I typically save my crusts for the dog because it almost always is bland and hard, but Pizza Market's crust is flavorful and has just the right amount of crunchy and chewy (just like a NY slice!). My poor dog is losing his mind I no longer save the crusts for him. Also, if it matters, I grew up in Jersey, so I know a good pie when I have one. read more

Pizza Market has never been on my radar for good local pizza. I don't understand the hype. If you enjoy a round disc of hard to chew dough dripping with orangey oil, then this may be the place for you. I have never personally ordered Pizza Market myself. In the past, I was placed in a temp job in a seedy company in Woburn for a short period of time and they had some mutual contract with Pizza Market as their monthly pizza party delivery. I've tried a slice and I just couldn't figure it out. My white paper plate and napkin turned transparent after dabbing the excess grease. After the second time of trying it, I just felt immediately sick. Next round, it was just a hard pass. However, it isn't quite the food that I'm not a fan of, but it is the delivery drivers. Oh god, they're the worse. I have also worked in downtown Woburn to help local restaurants. Each weekend night, I would nearly be run down by their awful delivery drivers. And most recently, two nights ago, coming out the rotary from Route 38/I-95 at a red light, one of their drivers that was in a turning lane as I proceeded straight cut me off from the passenger's side instead of turning. Ordered from an online app. Ordered a veggie sub without tomatoes or anything hot. I asked that it be toasted and with mayo. Came not- toasted, no mayo. Only thing in sub was lettuce, onions and pickles. I called and asked him where the other veggies were. He said that was it. I said "you don't have olives, peppers, cucumbers, etc?" He said "we do but don't put them on the veggie sub." My niece ordered a cheeseburger without onions, which came with onions on it. She also asked for fries with extra salt. The fries came with no salt on them at all. When I spoke to the guy on the phone he tried to blame the app I ordered from saying that all the info mustn't have gone through, but I could see the order confirmation on my email and all the info was there. Had a steak and cheese sub delivered to my house the other night and bit into a 1 inch long piece of metal. I called the restaurant to speak with the manager, who kept offering to make a new sandwich, or to give me a free sandwich next time I order. Guess what - I won't be ordering from there ever again. Pizza Market is still my go-to pizza place, but this particular restaurant is nowhere near the quality of the ones in Manchester, Concord or Goffstown, NH. Non-prodigious quantities of cheese seems to be the problem, and the restaurant itself smells like smoke. Staff is congenial. I just assume I can park behind the restaurant...which may or may not be OK. Anyways, two stars for a great sauce and crust recipe, but a major disappointment lined up next to other PM franchises. ____*Update*_____ Went back another night-the smoke smell had disappeared and the pizza was much better this time. Using wheat flower, 100% virgin olive oil and crystal clear water to prepare their pizzas should taste awesome. But it doesn't. I don't get it. I can't speak to the quality of most things on the menu, but my partner & I get pizza & calzones from here occasionally and they do a great job. We don't eat dairy and so we usually either ask for no cheese (for pizza) or bring our own non-dairy shredded "cheese" from Whole Foods (for pizza or a calzone) and they are very accommodating. The food is a great size for the price. (Especially on Wednesday evenings: if you call after 4pm, you pay the price of the time you call for a large pizza! i.e. $4+tx if you call right at 4:00.) The tomato sauce is great - not too salty or oily at all. Tastes fresh. I like the staff here as well. Overall I definitely recommend it, especially if you have a special diet request. read more

Been a regular getting delivery for years. Best pizza in Woburn. Huge portions, reasonable prices, fast delivery. Owned by a local family who are good in the community, they frequently donate pizzas for events with local organizations (girl scouts, youth sports, etc.) And they care about their customers - we ordered a pizza the week of Christmas a couple of years ago, the owner delivered it and waived off the payment. After an hour of a half of waiting for one pizza we called to check on our order. "Yeah driver just left." The house we're at is a half mile down the road. One half hour later we called to ask if they had the right address. "Oh the driver was there but didn't get an answer so left." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! If a customer doesn't answer the door, what do you do? YOU CALL THE CUSTOMER. They didn't call us at all to tell us that the driver had returned, we had to call them to find out. This is the first time I have ordered food at this restaurant. I decided to order 2 large pizzas with the wednesday special, which is beat the clock. The time "the order is received" is the price you pay, which would be a great deal. I ordered on the phone and told the order taker that i would be doing errands, but don't worry, i would be late, but i would be there. I picked up the pizzas an hour and 40 minutes later. The cashier said that they were about to give my pizzas away. I told him that i purposely told the order taker i would be late. He said it wasn't him. That shouldn't matter, there should be better communication. On to the price. They charged me for the time i PICKED UP my pizza. This is blatant FALSE ADVERTISING. I tried explaining this, but they wouldn't budge. On to the pizza. This is definitely a place that is skimpy on cheese, so extra cheese would need to be ordered if you like a lot of cheese. But the biggest part is the peppers that i ordered are DEFINITELY NOT FRESH. i frequent pizza places, even cheap chains, and there are always fresh peppers. Peppers are my favorite topping and i had to pick them off. They tasted bad, and they were shriveled and mushy. The website touts the high quality of ingredients they use, so that was especially insulting. Overall, i wouldn't go back because i think they are cheaters and liars. They lured me in with a great deal and then changed the terms. And i have never had not fresh peppers as a topping. read more

If you like pizza and need delivery, there isn't anywhere better in Woburn. You have to pick it up at the other two places that have that classic Italian pizza I crave. If your from the area you already know, if your not, take my advice and get pizza from Pizza Market. Why do people care about customer service so much from pizza shops? We did forget to mention veggies when ordering but we were never asked if that was all or if we wanted anything on our sandwich. First of all, I would agree with a previous Yelp user that the quality if not nearly as high as it is in the Goffstown location (which is my favorite pizza place, anywhere). It's not bad though, standard pizza shop fare. I'm writing this review, however, in response to my most recent attempt to order from the restaurant. I called a little while ago, and the employee who answered begain immediately to bark orders at me like "address" I responded, and she immediately cut me off saying: "phone number. PHONE NUMBER" (she said it twice, one while I was not talking once while I was actually saying my number), then said "ADDRESS" (like I hadn't already tried to give it to her....). After giving the address, she told me they don't deliver to Stoneham. I explained our parking lot is in Woburn (less than 3 miles from Pizza Market) but our legal address is listed in Stoneham. She was unimpressed. We have had food delivered here in the past, no problem. Not sure what's changed, or why this woman was angry when she picked up the phone. But I called another place right away, and had a much more pleasant experience - and they delivered. read more

My boyfriend had a hard time trying to order from this place. The person taking his order didn't know the menu or specials. She also apparently couldn't hear him, so he had to repeat himself many times over. She called the manager over to help us and he was fine. We were worried they wouldn't be able to get the food to us, especially since the woman said she hoped the driver would be able to find us after struggling to put down our address... Food showed up on time, within 40 min or so. Burger was fine and the onion rings were decent, not too crispy though. Pizza was also good (a bit soggy/oily). We were also overcharged (for a pizza topping that was supposed to be free/part of a special, didn't bother asking for a refund on that though). Probably won't be ordering from this place again. This place is great, and has lots of great deals. How can I not buy a pizza on Wednesday when you can get one for as little as 4 bucks! The quality is GREAT for the price tag in my opinion. I mean its not upper crust, but it's well worth the greenbacks for sure. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to dairy allergies, having no problem using my dairy free cheese [daiya] on a pizza or calzone whenever I bring it in. I've been going here for a few years now. They changed the pizza dough maybe two years ago which is great. I order from Pizza Market whenever I order pizza which is every week or two. The delivery driver is typically the same person every time which is something I like and I think it may be a family member.
