I was having some issues with my car door locks turning properly. Doug diagnosed them as most likely being caused by worn pins. Price: Flat fee of $45 per door lock ($90 total). When I dropped off the car, Doug asked if he could have about an hour or so to work on the locks. Since their business is located on the same corner as Target and Big Lots, it was easy to spend that time shopping. I hired them to rekey a duplex rental unit. I should have realized what I was getting into when they were more then 30min late meeting me at the property. The vendor had to send someone back to their office three times because he did not have the tools he needed. I had to leave him there to finish the job and we I went back to check it wasn't completed. I arranged to go back and meet them and after and hour the guy didn't show up. The drama goes on and on. Nope not happening !! Went there got my keys duplicated and the guy was horribly rude worst customer service . Then said they only take cash but there is a visa sign on the window ? Then mention the visa sign then he accepted it . Prices are outrageous and not worth the rude service . Learn how to treat customers and maybe I will be back but until then - BYE ! I pulled up to get a key made, after having looked up their hours of operation. I was in a hurry as I had family coming into town and I needed to leave them with a key before heading to work. No one was at the kiosk/office. I noticed the locksmith at his van in the parking lot so I asked if was able to make me a key. And he just waved me off implying no! I called him at 4PM on a Friday on a referral from another Locksmith that couldn't help me. I arrived at 4:20 and after dealing with a couple of other customers, he promptly came out to my car to look at my situation. Paul is a miracle worker! My key was stuck in the ignition. Like completely stuck. I couldn't even turn my car off. Paul was able to remove the ignition switch, and they replaced the housing. They worked extremely hard on my car. It wasn't an easy job. But they got it done. Everyone there was extremely friendly. They went above and beyond, and I'm extremely grateful! They made it so easy. We needed our new house rekeyed and I didn't even know how many locks. No problem, said they'd be there within the hour, showed up in 30-45. Very reasonable prices, normal charge per lock plus a housecall fee, all explained when I called. All on a Saturday with no advanced notice. Great service, friendly and honest staff. I broke a key off in my driver's side door and was unable to use the ignition. Another locksmith removed the tumbler so I could start my car with a blank but I needed it fixed. Jack's staff removed my trunk lock to match the existing lock to create a new key. In addition, he added a new tumbler to the ignition and reprogrammed the new key for 125. Definitely worth every penny. read more

Hubs has used the key made service, always satisfied with results. Took a water-oil-gasoline lock box for a Model T...Jack was able to make a key for that. The real challenge was a 1909 Model T wheel lock minus the key. Jack took the challenge! Left the whole old lock there and when we checked back.....waaaa-la....done! Works smoothly and opens right up....We could not be more satisfied with the results and a reasonable fee for this service. A true locksmith. I called and used this service last week and was quoted $45 per changed lock. They sent someone who obviously wasn't on payroll. I had no problem with that though. He changed front door locks and took the regular door knob lock on the back door and decided to change it to just a dead bolt lock. He said we can't use it though because the panel was not on right. So really was a waste to change it. He also was suppose to change the mailbox key but said he didn't have the right lock and would do it the next day being he had already been there 2hours just for 2 locks. He charged me $150 and that would include the mailbox key. He wanted cash which was fine but was hesitant to give me a reciept bur gave me one. Well it's been over a week and now the shop won't answer my calls on the business phone or his cellphone. I do have my invoice and will take pics and upload. This is poor business and I DO NOT recommend anybody using them unless you want to be scammed. read more

I've been trying to find a place to make copies of a mail key and literally couldn't find anywhere in Moreno Valley. Thankfully, I was out in the SB area and came across this place. This place was fantastic! I tried re-key my own door and had problems. Called Home Depot because they said they did rekeying what it cost me $30. Jack's was only $9.50 and he had the problem fixed in two minutes. Also the lady running the cash register was super sweet she liked my son was interested in keys and gave him a bunch of free keys on a ring which my son plays with all the time now. I love going to small businesses like this what people call the mom-and-pop places. Big chain lock smiths would've charge way more than that to fix a problem that was so easily fixed in a few minutes by this gentleman. Called in for a quote on getting an ignition and door lock key made for a Porsche I had lost all sets of keys to. Was quoted $110 which I felt was reasonable for a difficult job. I had the car on a trailer so I took it over there. They were done in less than an hour (barely got my shopping done at Target!) and said since my door handles were already removed and it wasn't much work for them, my bill was only $50! Their service is fast and their prices are reasonable, made three keys today and they turned out great. Glad I stopped in with them today. The only thing they didn't have was more variety of colors for my one key because they were sold out of patterns and designs for that specific key shape. Other than trying to keep stuff like that in stock, typical door keys can be made very quickly, it's kind of amazing how quickly they can make your keys! More importantly, they work! read more
