I inquired about re-keying a mailbox for a client who lost the original key. They quoted a price through Yelp, I had agreed and we scheduled an appointment. I went to the property. 30 minutes before we were supposed to meet, the technician called up and added another $25 to the service call as he didn't realize that the key had been lost, and would require more work for him. I agreed on the new price, and he said he was on his way. I drove to the property and waited for over a half hour and never received a phone call or anything. 2 hours later, I get a text from him stating, "Sorry, but I got in a bad situation." Thomas needs to learn how to cut Toyota Camry flip out keys. I just took my OEM blank key to get cut to my original and he has no knowledge how to cut them after he cut the key. He couldn't tell he f**ked up my good blank key totally didn't match the original cut. I don't recommend dealing with such an unscrupulous, incompetent, and bad tempered owner man of this shop . I asked for a remote key for my car and paid him what he asked for, on pickup day,the remote didn't work after spending 30 minutes trying ,in vain, to program it to my car ,he then expelled his anger telling that he would not refund me as mentioned in receipt ( which was not true ) ,and eventually, he told me he will order another one. One week later , i went to pick up the other one ,but it was working only if I was 3 feet close to the car !! Before leaving his shop ,I tried pressing both the back trunck door and Horn buttons but they never worked unles I was 1 feet close to the car ,and with difficulty. Now I can't use the horn button if I needed to find my car in a parking lot, nor can open the back trunk door except with difficulty!! When I inquired about these issues, he exploded in anger and was very furious and mentioned again that he would not refund my money . His daughter ,which is no good than him ,told me that i should be very close to my car and keep trying to press buttons till tgey work in each time,and hastily, sent me away by telling me ( have a good day) ! We all know that no law here would protect us ,neither from fraud ,nor from indecent behavior of business owners . If I could give a ZERO I would..This place is horrible and has horrible customer service . upon arrival I called to see if they where open and made certain keys . notified whomever that I was on my way . when I get to the locksmith the door is locked with a open sign .I call to ask if you have to get buzzed in or something . The guy I spoke with was very rude he said he had to go and I can WAIT ."huh" imagine my confusion due to the fact I just called to verify service and notify them that I'm on way . which mean the manager had my number to call back to say hey I had to step out, I should be back shortly. My advice take a customer service class or something because something so simple as much as a call back could have eliminate any problems as well tone and deliverance when talking to customers . i came in with my own keys as he didn't have the ones needed. my previous key was worn down really bad so he had to make a copy from the ignition key cylinder. he had a lot of trouble with my car and it took him a while but he didn't give up and managed to make the copy's. he's a really good genuine guy even offered to do the job for free since it took him much longer than he expected. even with me trying to pay him he still refused but I insisted. he stayed late to get the job done. really appreciate what he did for me. 10/10 guy would go back to his store for more service if I need it. read more
