The music isn't too loud but lends to the mood. There's a kind young man who's been there the last several times. He's so respectful and attentive to the customers. Their menu is newer looking than the last time we were in and it looks really good. I always enjoy their pad Thai or their drunken noodles. Wifey got a taro milk tea today and it was the best ever. The food is very very delicious, I've never had any type of Vietnamese food before. After leaving there I always want to go back. They have good prices, not a long wait like most places and there staff is very good with speaking to the customers. Over all I love the restaurant and I haven't been anywhere else in marshalltown that has that good of customer service nor good food! I love that they have choices of American food and they also explain what is on there menu whenever you ask. Keep it up! Love it! read more

Jack's Pho House is an awesome change of pace from burgers and pizza. The owner and staff are very nice and eager to serve some fantastic Vietnamese food. I have enjoyed the their food on multiple occasions and have found everything delicious. I really recommend the homemade crab rangoons they are to die for. Add a little bit Jow Bong hot sauce to give your meal an added kick. Well worth the visit I will definitely be returning. read more

I asked for Oolong tea and received a cup of "dark tea" not sure what it was but for sure it wasn't Oolong and too dark for green tea. The place was old and showing wear, probably could have used a good power washing of the entire interior. Staff was friend and relative attentive. Total tab was $10.90, so I sure can't complain about the prices. But I doubt this will receive a return trip when I'm in Marshalltown. But on a Monday night...
