Strap that was never fixed. I honestly can't believe that guy is still open

THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE OPEN!!! I suppose the people that gave him five stars don't know what a good repair is. This guy first he lost my belt that I left to cut and he then implied I never left the belt then he found it and he says, he didn't cut it and that belt was not in the bill when it was. He damaged three of our expensive shoes. He charged to fixed straps on my anguila leather sandals and he did t eve touch it. He changed my husbands shoe color he put a brown on a honey color pair of shoes. Attached pictures. !! This guy is a mess if you don't want your shoes to be damaged or ur money to be stolen STAY AWAY FROM HERE if there was a board for shoe repair I would be calling them. Worst experience ever!! Feel he robbed me on top of everything !!!

Terrible and disrespectful owner and staff... I live in Connecticut and I am not often in Florida…read morevisiting my Mom. Well, today (8/25/2026) I brought my 84 year old mom (with her walker) into the store to purchase another pair of shoes ..she lives in Lake Worth, so it is a bit of a drive. We decided to go back to this store because we both purchased New Balance sneakers in February...and the gentleman that helped us back then was very nice! Don't recall his name... But today was an entirely different experience- I see that there are other comments and reviews for the woman behind the desk- rude and unsympathetic. Lisa C. nailed it with her comments in her review. We walked in and the first thing she said was, "do you have an appointment" and I said No. I asked if my mom could get a pair of shoes and she said "No - you need an appointment- booked for the day"! Then she said quite abruptly "you should have called"...hahahaha- really... I said I was here in Feb. and we just walked in- I asked her when they changed the policy, and she said about a month ago... Unless you are a customer that visits this store every day, how would one know about this policy change? { I viewed the website before I wrote this review and it doesn't even state anything about the required appointment - except: "Appointments for medical issues are highly recommended". Actually, the main webpage states: " We're not your everyday shoe store! Call us today to see how we can help you"! Now that is a pleasant and welcoming statement- too bad they don't carry over that business model into their store.} Then I asked the woman if I could speak to the man who was helping (the one and only customer in the store), and she said "No, you can't" - Hold on whoa!! What is her attitude? Well at that point I turned to my Mom and her aide and said "we are leaving; they are very disrespectful" ...As I passed by the man, I spoke to him directly anyway...asked if he could quickly see my Mom since she is elderly and doesn't get out much....I intentionally spoke to him because unless you are my GOD, you are not going to tell me who I can or can't communicate with...I found out he is the owner and he said he has no staff and he is very ill - of course, I am so sorry for your situation, but you should fire your rude staff person and close up shop now... perhaps you just don't care how you treat people! Karma works in strange ways. Thank goodness for FLEET FEET - they were very accommodating, and my Mom was in her new pair of $150 sneakers within an hour after we left your shop. If I could convince others reading this review not to come to your store then I have accomplished one small deed. Last, Macelle L. wrote a review -she has been going to this store for over 10 years and " has read the bad reviews....The key is to always be kind and compassionate no matter what" - The owners should take her advice!

Recently, I received new work pants that required alterations and hemming. When I first walked in, I was disappointed to see there was a new seamstress working there, but since I had such excellent customer service last time, I decided to give her a try. She measured my pants and I told her I wanted all five pants, to be fitted. She measured me and told me they would be ready by Saturday, which gave her a week to complete. On Friday, I received a text message confirming the pants were done. I picked up the pants and tried them on when I got home. The pants did not meet my expectations or match the description. I went back to the shop and explained the situation to the seamstress. She looked at me with an upset face and began to shake her head. She was arguing with me, suggesting that I should have provided a clearer explanation to what I wanted. I told her I did not mind paying a difference. I just wanted the pants completed correctly. She continued to shake her head and told me she wasn't sure if they were going to charge me. She told me to try the pants on again and began to measure. She asked, in a stern voice and with a look of displeasure, and asked if these measurements were better. I showed her a picture of how I wanted the pants to fit, emphasizing that I preferred them to be more fitted. She placed some pines on the pants and left the fitting room without a word. I walked out of the fitting room and walked toward the cashier. The lady in front was gathering my information when she came and started telling her the prices. She then started arguing with the cashier over a price disagreement because the cashier did not understand how she was trying to price the pants. She began to raise her voice at the cashier (because she appeared to be frustrated), but I intervened and clarified the pricing she was trying to explain. I paid for the pants to be fixed, and she told me they would be done by Saturday, which would be a week. Saturday came along, and I did not hear a word from anyone. Monday and Tuesday passed without any communication, so finally I called the business. I explained to the man who answered the phone that my items were past due, and I hadn't received any text or phone call from anyone. He stated they normally would not do that, but he would check if it was ready and hung up on me without any notification. I never received a call from anyone; when I tried to reach them again, I received no response. Finally, the business sent me a text two weeks after she promised to fix my pants, saying that my items were ready for pickup. Let me tell you that even after trying on all of my items, they were still messed up. Some of the hems from the pants are noticeably shorter than the others. It looked like some of the pants appeared to have remained unfixed. I paid for a service twice, but neither time did I receive the necessary results or fixes. Both times I was measured, I even brought my work boots in to be measured properly. I wouldn't mind paying for a good service; sometimes there are miscommunications, but no one should have to pay for or deal with someone with poor customer service and subpar work, especially with their price points. My work pants are messed up and the company I work for won't replace them, so I would have to come out of pocket to buy new pants (the work pants are not cheap). I have to walk around work for 10 hours a day with mismatched and unfixed pants. I am not one to leave reviews, but the seamstress was so rude and did such a poor job.
