This is by far the worst attorney firm I have ever had to deal with! First of all, Gary made promises that he would get me a settlement from the (SIF) Subsequent Injury Fund from California by the end of the year in 2024. In April 2026, there was a court hearing that he had only 15 days to respond which he called me and promised he would. That was the last I heard from him! Not only that, when he failed to respond, I have noticed on the app that the profile had my dad's name and email, which was odd and they had no response, so I filed a bar complaint, still in progress. The people that work there must be in junior high, because one of the girls, Georgina, tells me I have an initial consult with my dr who I have seen for 2 years! Then I had an appointment with the work comp appointed doctor, twice! After filing a complaint, I noticed he completely removed me from the case. I hope this guy loses his license, as he doesn't deserve to practice law! My next step is to sue for malpractice! He cost me thousands just because he decided I wasn't worth his effort! I do not recommend Gary Jackson for anyone seeking representation in a workers' compensation case. My experience with him was extremely disappointing and distressing. I hired Mr. Gary Jackson 2/2024 for a WorkComp case involving multiple injuries which one was in settlement stage. During the course of representation: * He never provided guidance about how to access or manage medical care. I had to handle all treatment and appointments on my own, without his help. * One of my three medical reports went completely unrated, and this wasn't told to me by him -- it was found by the court help center, not my attorney. This could have directly impacted the value of my case. * A settlement offer was sent to his office on May 11, and he never informed me. I only learned about it on May 23 when I spoke to the defense attorney office directly. * After I dismissed him on May 21, I have made multiple requests for my full case file. Over two months later, I still haven't received it. I've filed a formal complaint with the California State Bar, and there is an active investigation into his handling of my case. I'm posting this review so others are aware and can protect themselves. Based on my personal experience, I strongly urge anyone to think twice before hiring Gary Jackson. read more

Pay no attention to the bad reviews. I can see that they were all written by impatient, selfish people. I really appreciate this firm especially for his knowledge, honesty, and attentiveness. He is kind and respectful. He doesn't make me feel rushed when speaking, like most attorneys do. He actually took his time. I can tell that he loves his work. My dad told me many times that, "If you love the job you do you will do it well, and it won't even feel like work, because you enjoy it". If you are a pleasant person then you will appreciate Jackson & Jackson's firm because there you will find pleasant people. I am writing my honest experience with Gary Jackson and I want to say he was the best attorney I have ever contacted. After calling at least 20 firms and not even getting a real attorney to speak with me, I called Jackson and Jackson. Gary called me back within hours, he spend about 2 hours researching the issue at hand, and gave me a terrific answer. There was no claim filed with him, he solved my problem with just a simple answer. Gary spent 30 minutes speaking to me, he was not in a rush to get off the phone, even though he made no money at all in this case consult. I have dealt with many attorneys in my lifetime, but none were that sharp, and you can tell he just really loves being an attorney. Gary was very kind as well. He is not the kind of person who is aggressive and overbearing, Thank you so much. Update on my husband's case's., I fired Jackson & Jackson last Monday! Done, gone, kick rocks! I am In pro-per for my husband now since I've done much of the work most of the years anyway. So, I was able to get a hold of the doctor that did my husband's re-eval on March 4, 2025 for settlement process. Jackson & Jackson kept telling us the report was still not ready and they couldn't get a hold of anyone at the doctor's office, well HE LIED AGAIN! I talked to the receptionist today and she said the report was done on April 4, 2025 and they mailed Jackson & Jackson a copy of the re-eval on April 3, 2025. 76 pages mind you! They have been lying to us the entire year they were on my husband's case! I am furious!! My husband turns 80 this year and he's going down fast because of his severe work injury in 2021. 4 years, this case should have been settled a long time ago. Please, I beg anyone who is looking to hire this "firm" DO NOT DO IT! You will end up losing your case and get nothing in the end. You don't need an attorney, you can do you workers comp on your own. Call the workers comp appeals board and ask them for help, or get free advice from the courts. Again, I'm asking anyone to please avoid these guys at all costs! They were sitting on my husband's cases for a year. I finally said I've had enough and now I'm handling it myself. They never even filed an substitution of attorney for the first 6 months on our case! We had a status conference over the phone with the judge in December 2024, Jackson & Jackson weren't on the first 2 calls (they were supposed to be on the 1st one) The judge was so furious he had to send Jackson & Jackson a letter threatening to sanction them if they were not on the 3rd and final call. All because they didn't file their paper work when we hired them. No one knew who our attorney was. They had our old attorney that was notified, of course he wasn't on the call, he wasn't our attorney. Our case will be settled because of me, I was not about to hire a 3rd attorney if the first 2 couldn't get the job done, I was done with all of them! Jackson & Jackson are conniving, ruthless, rude incompetent "attorneys". They said they were going to put a lien on my husband's case, I said good luck with that, LOL! Look, I'm a nice person, a good person, but if you stab me in the back and screw us over, you will pay the consequences for your actions as should everyone that has bad intentions for innocent people. My husband is old and disabled in severe pain 24/7 and they lied, led him on and abandoned him. They will NOT get away with it. I called and spoke to one of the representatives (phone), she was very rude, tried to tell me I had not left messages. I had been calling the 866 area code number for the last 6 months. I finally was able to leave a message and received a return phone call back within 15 minutes, however, the young lady I spoke to was really rude, insisted that she did not know which number I called. When I first got injured they reached out to me, I did not reach out to them. Mr. Jackson is excellent, but the return call system is terrible. I even left a message 2 years ago when I moved and sent an email, however, my address was never updated. Maybe the office staff needs to be a little politer than what I experienced today!! read more

Jackson and Jackson lay it all down on the table to fight for their clients. They are not about wasting clients time. THIS IS THE WORST WORKERS COMP LAW FIRM! Do yourself a favor and save the misery. It's bad enough that a work-related injury was sustained but then to add salt to wound, just my luck, using this unprofessional, completely silent and incompetent law firm as my representative. For more than 8 months, I only received 1 phone call and 2 emails, after calling them every other day for my claim status. Rarely someone in his office answers calls. You want a return phone call? Easier to get one from EDD. That's saying a lot. It took over 2 months for me to get a call back. The receptionist kept saying Gary will call you back. Nope, he won't. The nightmare doesn't end there. The insurance company approved a treatment physician, but this law firm never shared the information. After I switched law firms, this firm's receptionist calls me a month later trying to schedule a meeting omg. That's how disorganized and dysfunctional this firm is. (repeatedly), while raising his eyebrows thinking he's the man that every 20-something woman craves and every man wants to be. Worst nightmare I've ever have .. this "firm" did not do anything for me other then take paper work to the court house ( could have used a notary instead ) today Jan 3rd 2019 they send me a text for me to review them .. LOL I can't believe they had the guts to ask for my rewiew after they left me hanging there .. in my case- loosing money / time. Every negative review below is true! Mr Gary NEVER answers phone calls or emails. The staff at Jackson and Jackson are the most rude and unprofessional individuals I have ever spoken too. Lupe, the so called paralegal, can never answer a question in regards to the case. Veronica the person who is in charge of medical not only raises her voice to clients but also makes one feel unwelcome to call. Not only does this law firm have incompetent staff but also an attorney who does not care about its clients. I'm not saying anything bad yet, about Gary Jackson, I'll reserve that opinion for later, but my case started in 2011, and now seems to have just come to a major stall. I can't get anyone at the office to even answer my phone calls, and also have sent multiple emails asking about my case, and not even one reply. He (Gary Jackson) the last time we communicated, told me to use my own personal insurance for treatment on my work injury,since the insurance co. won't ok any treatment, and now that treatment center is trying to bill me for those co-pays AFTER my insurance co. ok'ed some treatment on my injury. But, I have stopped my PT, on my injury because I haven't heard anything from Mr. Jackson, or the insurance Co. So, what can be done to get some answers on my case? read more
