Great ambience & friendly service. Enjoyed drip coffee with breakfast plates of smoked salmon & steak with eggs. Conveniently located on the Riverside walk right by the bridge.

Faultless.....9/10 We went here for my mums birthday as we always saw this place buzzing. Fantastic service from our waitress- thank you. Short review as I can't fault anything about this place. Food was great, presented nicely, service was exceptional and the whole experience was really welcoming. Best place to eat in Richmond by far. But... that is my opinion. When I asked others they agreed but, nothing to shout about (food wise) when you go back into work on Monday. Nevertheless I'll be back for brunch to be sure! Check out the pictures. x2 steaks, fish and burger plus starters and drinks £130 quid inc service charge x4 people.... you decide :)

This is a wonderful spot for brunch in Richmond. The restaurant is right on the river, which is great. We had the Saturday brunch, and I loved the eggs Benedict in avocado (instead of bread). Really neat idea! Bloody Marys were also tasty, and the jug was reasonably priced.

Brunch on a Sunday can be difficult to find in London when everyone seems to be serving a Sunday roast. This was the perfect combo of both breakfast and lunch options especially for a southern girl who was missing her fried chicken. Delicious! Their fresh juices and coffee were great additions to the meal and service was spot on - they checked in with us but weren't all over us and let us stay chatting without ordering anything further until we were ready to leave. I will definitely be back for dinner. What a cool place with great food and a lovely vibe.

Friendly but busy service, good beer, reasonable pricing for lunch, but uneven food quality. Very nice outside seating.

If you are an expat, this will be your new comfort food craving after your first visit. Our group ordered three different sandwiches and shared many brunch dishes and they were all amazing. They serve their buttermilk pancakes topped with bacon and a generous helping of syrup on the side. The eggs benny came with fries and was delish as well. All of their amazing sandwiches come with an individual pickle that is made in-house. We shared a Chicken Cobb (Corn fed chicken, smoked bacon, avocado, blue cheese, boiled egg, tomato, red onion, lettuce & mayo on 3 slices of toasted white), The Toronto (Slow roasted topside beef, melted English cheddar, leaf lettuce, tomato, pickled hot peppers, red onion, & horseradish mayo on toasted sourdough), and The Medley (Roasted turkey breast, smoked ham, bacon, melted cheddar & emmental, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickled hot peppers & basil mayo on toasted sourdough). This place is locally owned and the vibe is very laid back. We went around 12:30 on a Saturday and this place was packed. They take reservations so you might want to make some (we did). Overall, I will definitely come back.

There are few things in the world less appetizing to me than two pieces of pre-packaged soggy bread with one slice of ham drowning in a gallon of mayo that's been sitting on the Pret a Manger shelf all day. In America you only see stuff like that at gas stations, and even there they hold the mayo. In England, they put so much mayo on those sandwiches that it actually gets listed as an ingredient. So whereas you'd have a chicken sandwich with mayo in America, in England it becomes a chicken mayo sandwich. That's just wrong. And nasty. Enter Pickle & Rye. If this place were in Soho or South Kensington then there'd be lines out the door. True Mortlake is in London's upscale southwest and thus home to several affluent American ex-pats, but I feel like that this gem of a sandwich place is missing out on a golden opportunity by being stuck out in the middle of nowhere. It was a trek to get to even from Fulham, and I've got plenty of friends who think that Fulham is enough of a trek already. Or at least that's their excuse for never coming to visit us. This place would merely have to not completely suck to be one of the best sandwich places in London, but it's really taken the art of the sandwich to another level. The owner / head sandwich dude is a culinary school graduate who roasts all their meats, cures his own corned beef (known around these parts as salt beef), makes his own dill pickles (which are easily the best that I've ever had in England) and Russian dressing, with the result being the finest reuben this side of the Atlantic. I will gladly return to the middle of nowhere for another one.

It wasn't until further in our trip that we were needing a meal that we found 606 Club online. This has that speakeasy vibe, with the subtle entrance, the narrow staircase and another door before you're told about a 20£ cover charge should you choose to stay for the live performance starting at 8pm. We only wanted a meal, as we were tired from travelling, and were seated close to the door. I had my reservations, as the music was the primary reason the crowd was there. But you know what? We had a delicious memorable meal here! My partner had steak frites and I enjoyed the Thai chicken (curry). We also shared an order of courgettes Provençal. If I had one mild issue, was that the waitress described the courgettes as "oh it's courgettes with tomato". My DEAR, they are NOT JUST with tomato! Provençal is this savoury delicious play on garlic, seasoning, and herbs like basil, oregano, thyme. With the right seasonal veggie it is this warm hug that reminds me, "hey, maybe I could be vegan". We enjoyed our meal, to say the least. I swear as we were ending our meal, and the jazz musicians were starting their set, the chef came out to listen a bit and looked out into the dining room and we made eye contact. I nodded, with a satisfied gaze, and he nodded back. If I could visit 606 Club in my future visits to Chelsea, I will!

They let us know as soon as we got there that they charge a £20 cover for the music that starts at nine. We weren't staying for the music so they omitted that from our bill. I had the lamb and my wife had the salmon. The service was very fast despite their menu stating that their kitchen is small and can sometimes run slower. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Over all great experience. I wish we had time to stay for the music.

I found the outdoor sitting area and the dim and modern interior of the Diner very inviting. As our previous restaurant had us wait a long while for a table of 11, we tried to get a table at Urban Diner and at the entrance, we were quickly shown to a table without a fuss. The waitresses were very welcoming and quickly attended to us. The lady servicing our table seems overwhelmed by the amount of people which came across as impatient but soon after, she warmed up to us and was nice to the kids which is always refreshing! There are quite a few choices on the food menu and some dishes come better as a sharing platter. I had some of the Chicken Wings, Chicken Fillet and Ribs which tasted good but the Salad had no taste to it as it was a bunch of chopped vegetables thrown into a bowl with no flavoring. The burgers looked really nice and those who had it didn't seem to complain-except that it was way too much to finish! The Mac And Cheese which came as a side however, I would not want to have again... Flavorless and not enough Umph! to it. Generally, the crowd were pleased but also had some opinions about some of the food. Overall, the good is fine but if I was to go again, I would stick to what they probably do best. Chicken and Ribs.

We ordered a burger and a Reuben and they were huge, as expected. Both were good, the burger was a little bland but my husband said that the Reuben was the 'best ever!'. Not spectacular, but stylish and decent.
