Outstanding! Food was delicious and service was great. The ambiance is so chill and relaxing. It's a great place to disconnect and enjoy some coffee and breakfast with friends and family.

Caravan Kings Cross is a trendy restaurant / coffee shop / bar three-way cross nested a few blocks north of King's Cross. The atmosphere is casual with incredibly friendly staff ready to recommend good food, drinks, and coffee options. There is space in the back should you want to open a laptop and do work, with reliable wifi and good service for a call or two. We came during the week in the afternoon and enjoyed breakfast through to closing. Would come back!

We had a lovely breakfast here on a weekday morning. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed their heaters and blankets at each table. For coffee, we tried flat whites and a cappuccino, which all arrived quickly and were delicious. For food, we tried pancakes and two toasts including the veggie fry and salmon egg. The veggie fry had two beautifully fried eggs, grilled halloumi, and roasted mushrooms and tomatoes. Service was fast and friendly and everything was very tasty.

Came here for dinner a couple Wednesday nights ago and it was packed! We luckily had a reservation and had the shortest of waits, but there were tons of people waiting outside. Once you get inside it's easy to see why! Delicious food in a trendy, industrial chic type of setting. What more could you ask for? We shared a bunch of dishes: -Jalapeño Cornbread: it's dense without feeling heavy and well-flavored. A little bit of kick, but without any heat. It's soft and different from American cornbread, but still tasty! And the spread is good too -Broccolini with Lentils: the combination of things on the plate, from avocado to lentils was a bit strange, but the broccolini itself was quite tasty -Crispy Pork Belly: the cucumber and onion had great flavor and were nice and light, and the pork belly itself was good, but I'm not quite sure the flavors all went together -Hot-Smoked Salmon Bowl: the salmon was good and the seasoned rice mixed with the miso mayo was so tasty! Great, light flavors but still filling -Goat Cheese Cheesecake: oh my gosh, YUM!!! Light and fluffy with a delicious flavor (like a lighter version of cheesecake as opposed to goat cheese), with a thin crust and honey drizzle. Definitely make sure you save room for this dessert!!! Service was nice, albeit a bit slow. Would definitely come back!

If there's one thing I dislike about Caravan, it's that their brunch menu gave me a difficult time ordering. Sigh. I suppose that works as a positive too, since everything sounded delicious. One interesting thing I noted was that upon queueing, they handed me a coffee bag with a number written on it. I was so confused, but apparently that's how they kept track of my position in line. How funny! Now there's something you don't see everyday - especially in King's Cross. // Jalapeño corn bread, fried eggs, black beans, guindilla pepper (£9.50) - 4 stars // Kimchi pancake, pork belly, fried duck egg, bbq crème fraiche (£12) - 4 stars P.S. Unisex toilets? That's kinda weird.

Came here after work. Got some small plates to share and they were so-so. I like the pork belly the most and was not a fan of other dishes. Got a good selection of wine, and not too many on cocktails. The service was good. This is probably a better spot for breakfast/brunch.

Just ate the best food in London.

On point on Thai Red Curry sea bass and also their chick pea bowl with fried eggs charuuzo and pakora was a total surprise. Will recommend this spot to everyone

La Vendimia Rioja Palacios Remondo -- warm, smooth and creamy. The hint of spice married well with the variety of flavours in our meal.

For a fun night out with great food and an interesting location, check out Caravan. Make sure you get there before you're ready to eat because there's a good chance you'll have a wait! We rolled up around 8 and didn't get a table until 9. Having put our names down, we grabbed out number -- a bag of coffee beans! -- and headed to the bar. There's a great selection of spirits and beers. Drink in hand, it's off to sit and wait. The outside waiting area has a lot of seats with tables, benches around the edge -- plenty of room to hang out and catch up with friends I haven't seen in almost 2 years. Eventually we got called inside to our table. It's loud but not deafening, lit well enough to actually read the menu, and filled with ecclectic character. And then we got a look at the menu. OMG, talk about drool-worthy! With a bit of discussion we decided to go with a selection of small plates...and some potato bread. Washed down with a tasty bottle of red. Everything was beautifully presented, still hot, and filled with flavour. We had room for dessert -- some panna cotta, ice cream... and a cheese platter with yummy quince jam! And a bottle of sauterne to enhance it all. There was nothing to complain about -- service was friendly and good, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere fun. Definitely a place to return to next time I'm in London

Amazing place for a good and fulfill brunch! The only bad point : you can't make reservation. With my friends we waited around 40 minutes to get a table. During this time we ordered some nice hot drinks. Once seated we ordered different things : cumin waffles, coconut bread with lemon curd, avocado toast, muffin of the day ( with gojie berries and apricots) and an English breakfast. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is really nice and casual, the staff is nice. We had a real good time there

Brunch here was fire . And the wait staff were perfection - particularly the tall, African American ex-model with the vibrant personality and sense of humor. She made the meal so much better with her recommendations and stories to share. We came here for brunch on a Sunday I believe and it was so lovely. The queue was shorter than anticipated and we went through the line quickly. If you don't want to wait in line, you can always book ahead as well. We started with drinks of course - might I suggest the blueberry & tarragon shrub, as well as the morning G&T. Don't order the Bloody Mary however, as it's pre-mixed the night before to save time, which doesn't really make for the best morning cocktail. For our mains, we ordered the crushed potato mung Dahl and the fried cornbread. Both were marvelous and I LOVED the side of pork & leek sausage. This restaurant is not meant for you to come in and order avocado toast. Be adventurous and try something special that Caravan has created. Looking forward to trying dinner here in the future!

It was the best porridge in my life! Delicious! Amazing place for breakfast I'm so happy that we found it!

Add one of the Caravan locations to your breakfast/brunch plans. We made reservations, but it wasn't too busy when we were in. The menu is creative and everything we tried was done really well! This may be weird to say, but I just started eating avocados in the last year or two. But they're in every dish -- all over the world. It became the new salt so... I finally gave in. And... they're not so bad. I had the best guacamole here :) It came with the fried eggs over jalapeno cornbread and black beans. This was an awesome dish and a combination I had not had before. Note: Smoked salmon on menus in London are different than we think it is in the Pacific Northwest. Smoked salmon here is brined (raw) like lox, while at home, it's cooked via smoking. I like both preparations equally, but with just-cooked scrambled eggs like at Caravan's? The raw version is the perfect complement. Drip coffee is served in beaker, pretty cute but drink it fast before it cools off ;) And try one of the juices! I recommend the carrot apple ginger with tamarind.

My poached eggs were served on a massive bed of bacon and fresh made English muffins. The English bacon was incredibly delicious. It is no wonder that there are lines waiting to dine here. My husband had one of their premade breakfast sandwiches, made on fresh rolls, which he loved. There was a service charge added to the bill. I would definitely recommend and return.

People kept walking by without acknowledging us, which was a little frustrating. The coffee was amazing though. We ordered a cortado and it was perfect. I got the All American breakfast and the portion was huge. I enjoyed everything, even though they don't make over-medium eggs, which was a little funny to me. My mom ordered the avo, egg, and cheese sandwich and didn't realize it was spicy, so she didn't enjoy it much. Just something to be aware of if you're not into spice. The vibe inside was really nice and cozy, and our waiter, once we were finally seated, was very sweet and friendly. Overall, I would return, especially for the coffee and the portions.

Their servings are HUGE, and are so affordable too! I left wishing my mother and I had the ability to save our leftovers for later, because we hated wasting any of the delicious food that we ordered. Even before we got our food we were pretty excited. When you walk in you're greeted here with a beautiful sight: fresh sandwiches, bread, and pastries, all on display right at their main counter. Once we were seated I noticed little flower pots line the window, too. Fresh food and flowers - what more can you ask from a cafe for a first impression? We also loved the owner and his wife: they were very kind and they constantly kept us up to date on our food order, just to mention what was done and what they still needed to do or cook. They clearly work hard to provide fresh fast meals - and we learned quickly as people came in and out of the place that takeaway is available here. But we wanted to enjoy a sit down meal, and enjoy we did! I started mine with fresh squeezed juice - we're talking so fresh you'll want to add sugar to it if you're used to the juice that comes in stores. And when our English breakfasts came out? Just, wonderful. My mother and I each received SO much food. Both meals came with amazing buttered bread (like, I would have happily eaten an entire plate of bread and only bread), hash browns so fresh that they may as well have given us the original potatoes (yum), and what I can really only describe as a mountain of beans, eggs, and meat (well, on mine anyway - not so much on my mother's vegetarian breakfast order). All of it absolutely delicious, and every single bite made me smile wider and wider. Definitely walk on in if you're near this little shop. Don't be afraid to order one meal and share it if there's only two of you, either - you'll likely both leave well fed, and you can always order a little more food if you want too from that great looking counter of theirs...
