They went above & beyond trying to move the over 6' long top cabinet up the stairs. The opening was too narrow so they dismantled part of it and it still wouldn't go. Then they tried to take it up the dilapidated outside staircase but 2 steps up the stairs collapsed! Finally I hammered out 3 pieces of the railing and up it went. Starting in the store, the people were knowledgeable and helpful. They clearly know their stuff, and even better, want to help you make selections that meet your needs. There was no pressure. They helped so much. They also will order if you don't find exactly what you want in the store. The delivery people were so darn nice, polite, efficient, and careful. I could not have asked for a better customer service experience. I am a repeat customer, and recently bought from them again, and there is a reason for that - selection, price, service, quality! When he delivered the second chair he had me look for my receipt and took off out the door before I realized the second chair was not what I ordered either and it was defective with a huge gap and 2 by 4 sticking out between the seat and the back of the recliner. He refused to tell me where he took my old chair and I found it illegally dumped behind St. VINCENT DEPAUL. The next day I went back to the store and asked him to come and get the second chair and he refused and called security and ordered me off the property. He is a criminal who takes advantage of seniors!

The storeroom itself is an old drafty building which doesn't make it very cozy and honestly lowered my expectations, but by the time I walked out of the door I couldn't have cared less about that. It was one of those rare old school retail transactions that you just don't get with today's corporate retail environment.
