    Great times!!!!

What an amazing find! We decided to stop in for a nightcap and a snack, and we couldn't be happier that we did. Our bartender was exceptional, and the service was truly top-notch. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and always willing to offer thoughtful suggestions for both food and drinks. The venue itself was beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness. It made for the perfect setting to unwind, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back.

Great atmosphere, great service, amazing drinks, and I'm a sucker for sharable dishes . Anaya was such a friendly and fun server. Loved her upbeat and personable service, with great recommendations. She's a gem, for sure! The drinks are definitely the star of the show here. Each craft cocktail was a notch above your usual . Use the provided black light flashlights for more fun finds and pairings on the menu. My favorite was the limoncello drop. Pros - craft cocktails - friendly and personable service - crispy mushrooms- would have loved a flavorful dipping sauce here - dungeoness cheesecake - I especially liked this bc it's different . - the pork skirt was tender with a great flavor! With 5 thin slices, I could have eaten the whole plate and more. Cons - great variety of offerings , the portions are small so if sharing, a bite or two is all you're getting. - entrees are small, very small. - the poutine was soggy and salty, surprisingly not my fav. It was my birthday and we ordered cheesecake. I liked that it's different from your typical and the trick candle was fun. I thought there might be a fun birthday perk or promotion but not here. The candle was a fun touch. While I left feeling full, I feel like they needed something heartier on the menu for those who need more substance . Sliders might be a nice filling add to the menu.

Intended to go to Pintxo when we found out that the restaurant (and winery) closed but elated to hear that the chef of Pintxo took over the location and created Jackson House. Glad that we arrived early enough that we were able to get a table. They specialize in curated cocktails, and their drink menu is extensive. Their food menu is simple but offered enough variety and all the dishes we tried were wonderful! Labneh and Caviar - ossetra caviar, ellenos labneh, house made chips - $26 - the house made chips were delicious and goes well with the labneh. Crispy Mushrooms - shiitake & white mushrooms, tempura batter, miso aoli - $14 - cooked perfectly -- a great balance between crispiness of the batter and juiciness of the mushrooms. Sausage Rolls - veal, puff pastry, home ketchup - $16 - tasty, and the house made ketchup was insanely good! Whiskey-Poached Pear Salad - feta, blue glass greens, charred shallot vin - $14 - all the ingredients went so well together. The poached pear was delicious! Let's Riff (custom drink similar to their Mexicali drink that is only reserve for members) $18 For dessert, we tried the Whiskey Brown Sugar Basque Cheesecake - seasonal "burnt" cheesecake $14 - I liked the fact that it's not too sweet. For After Dinner drink, Filty Chai - rhum barbancourt, local chai, espresso, orange bitters - $18. I don't like chai, but I liked this drink! I taste the espresso more than the chai. Server and rest of the staff were great! Will be brining friends here and will definitely make reservations next time.

Fantastic dinner and bar spot in downtown Woodinville! Huge shout out to Anaya who made our experience extra memorable, she is so friendly and fun! She recommended we order a bunch of things and share them family style, and most of them were great. My favorites were the crispy mushrooms that are made tempura style with an aioli dip, the brussels and burrata that were extra smokey, and the iberico pork skirt that was juicy and flavorful, though with all of those I wish the portions were bigger (especially the pork, it was five thin slices that covered a third of a plate). The cocktails are also amazing here, especially the moody manhattan, the classic old fashioned, and the refreshing limencello drop. For those looking for non-alcoholic the Pink 'Groni Club is a great option. If you want a comfy seating option I recommend reserving their "lounge" area with sofas, it's like you're at home with your family or friends! A few misses...poutine was a little too salty and came out lukewarm, squash was forgettable and weird with the yogurt, and the dungeness cheesecake could have used a lot more crab. For dessert we tried their basque cheesecake which was just okay flavor-wise, I wish we had opted for something different after having the dungeness cheesecake. But otherwise we will not hesitate to come back here, it was a great evening with great service and drinks!

Lively atmosphere, modern decor. It was everything I hoped it would be. Everything was excellent. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, tempura mushrooms, sausage rolls, Iberia pork and the lamb chops. Then finished off with basque cheesecake. Every item we received, continue to surprise us. My favorite was a lamb chops. The tempura mushrooms with the miso aïoli was my second favorite along with the sausage rolls. The Brussels sprouts were very delicious, but I do wish that there were more of them. And the basque cheesecake was spectacular. The staff was overall very pleasant and attentive. We sat at the bar in the bartender. It was very friendly. The man who brought out our food dishes, was very passionate about the food and it was very refreshing.

Jackson House is a true gem. Lauren Jackson, the head chef and owner, is a delight and her menu is incredible. She crafts incredible dishes with global influence and local ingredients. Don't sleep on the Aussie puff pastry bites -- Lauren is from Australia and the appetizer was delicious. My favorite plate was the Iberico steak, though it was hard to choose. The cocktails there are lovingly and beautifully crafted as well. I can't remember their names, but the purple one was incredible. The restaurant is gorgeous with dark walls, beautiful art and a living plant wall, cozy lounge areas and traditional tables and high tops to suit all your dining needs. More than anything, though, check out this place for the warm and wonderful service you'll receive while eating an excellently prepared meal.

I came here with a few of my friends. And we had such a lovely experience. The table settings are all very cozy. It's so nice to hear that the chef of PINTXO has taken over and turned it into her own restaurant. I was also impressed that the chef came out and served us some of our dishes. I wish I would've taken more photos. I didn't take enough. We had several things on the menu, including vegan options for some of my friends. And the chef was more than willing to accommodate the vegan dish. The chef even came out and chatted to us about the food and the experience. We also enjoyed some of their wine offerings. Anyways, I had such a lovely experience. I can't wait to return, the food was so delicious. I don't have a bad thing to say about it. My favorite dish was the crispy, wild mushrooms, and the dessert was so fresh. It was definitely homemade. I can't wait to return thank you chef and staff!

They have a beautiful facility and the tasting room was filled with souvenirs from shirts, jackets, flasks, glasses and all of them looked top-notch. Loved to buy a baseball cap, but my head is 61cm and I must have the velcro closure as the plastic snap hats are just too small & cheap for me. They have a counter bar area strategicly set with no chairs where it's comfortable for four 1/4 to 1/2 oz taste, but you don't get too comfortable. The hostess was pleasant, inviting and we honestly enjoyed reviewing the menu of +10 different whiskeys where we need to pick out 4 of them for the standard flight. They had a cross section of proofs between bourbons and ryes with a premixed old fashioned that was made by aging in maple syrup barrels. My wife went for ryes and i did the bourbons. I started with the 80 proof then navigated toward the highlight of the 115-proof. I was pleasantly impressed how drinkable without the burn going down was the 115-proof as it benefits from a sweeter, corn-forward base + cooler aging that results in better integration and less aggressive burn -- it "drinks easier" than the numbers would suggest. Of course, try what you can and it's great when you can share tastes between 2 people all the choices. For me, I found the cast strength aged 6 years 115 proof to be the best.

Another plus is that Woodinville Whiskey Distillary is 25ft away as they share the same parking lot. We don't frequent Hollywood Tavern as it was our first time, but it was just too easy to drop by for a snack before stopping by the distillary. Found a table in the bar area that was just right with beautiful view of the whiskey bottles lining the window. We got prompt attention and reviewed the menu for the snack. I was about to get fish and chips but was steered toward the Cubano pork sandwich with french fries. My wife got a caesar salad with romaine instead of kale and we decided to try the fried pickles too. No drinks other than water as we had plans afterward. The positives is the location, the atmosphere and they had all the pub fare you would expect. The only thing that dampened the pleasure was everything the fries, the sandwich, the salad, and even the sauces tastes quite salty to me. My wife mentioned to me seeing red edges on the romaine in her salad typically meaning not as fresh as it should have been. Definitely a nice place for beer drinking in the bar or outside on the patio during these springtime days. Not sure of the root cause of the over seasoning, but I'll ask for lighter next time.

The opposite of a smash burger. Put some seasoning on the patties. Smush them to create more surface area for the seasoning. The bacon was undercooked and chewy, but the onions were perfect. I took a cooking class at a respected college on onions so I appreciate good onions. Also, I ordered it without sauce. The menu described it as "drive-in" sauce, but the cook said he didn't know what was in it. Instead of no sauce, he put a bunch of mustard on my burger. I ordered no sauce! I've worked in or for restaurants my entire life so I know better than to ever do something like that to a customer. Ever. The fries were the worst part of the experience. They were so undercooked they were soggy and a little nasty oily from whatever they put on them. They were cut way too thick for how little they cooked them, but with the extra oil and being undercooked, they were pretty darn good rewarmed in my air fryer. I'm not a Brussels sprout fan, but my friend substituted them for the fries for a reasonable $4. She really liked them. The only one of us that didn't have the burger had the king salmon. It looked really good, but my friend said it was tough. The piece he gave to me might as well been from a can. Also, it had way too much acetic acid on it I guess in an attempt to make it less tough. Their selection of beer is terrible, but to be fair whiskey is in the name. The beer was $9 for a Coors Light clone. That's too much for a beer that was flat from a glass that wasn't clean enough and from lines that tasted like they weren't cleaned often enough for the beer to form bubbles.
