My friend had been asking to go to this place for a long time. My low taking is based totally on the quality of the food. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled prawns added. The Alfredo sauce was the consistency of bland library paste and the prawns were so overcooked and tough and dried out. My friend had the polo Gorgonzola and it had no flavor at all. The server was excellent and that was the ONLY pleasant of the experience. IMO it was also very overpriced considering the low quality of the food. I don't recommend this place to anybody. read more

We came here for a celebratory dinner after having this restaurant on our list for several years. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. We were a party of nine, and it felt like the staff wasn't prepared to handle a group our size. Our waitress, Monique, seemed unhappy to be serving us and was largely inattentive throughout the meal. Early on, someone at our table accidentally spilled a drink. Not a single staff member stepped in to help. We used all of our napkins trying to clean it ourselves, and eventually someone from our party had to get up and grab a rag from a nearby service station. Even as bussers walked by, no one offered assistance. We finally flagged one down, handed over the soaked napkins, and asked for replacements, but we were given one fewer napkin than we needed. Our waitress arrived only after everything had been cleaned up and acted as though nothing had happened. We also had to ask for the complimentary table bread because it never arrived on its own. The food was equally underwhelming. Both my steak and my wife's steak were ordered medium rare but were served medium. One guest's clam pasta arrived cold. Another ordered the lasagna, which was so lacking in flavor that he poured the garlic-infused oil over it just to make it edible. The chicken Marsala was also bland and needed salt. To finish, the tiramisu was disappointingly dry. Interestingly, our waitress's attitude noticeably improved toward the end of the meal once a manager appeared to be making rounds. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially for a restaurant we had looked forward to trying for years and for a special celebration. Excellent experience from start to finish. The waitstaff and front-of-house team were outstanding. A great dining experience should make you feel genuinely seen as a customer, and Grazie absolutely delivers on that. Our waitress was superb--patient, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was phenomenal. We ordered several appetizers and every single one hit; the crab dip alone is reason enough to come back. The Caesar salad was crisp with a perfectly balanced dressing, and the pasta--wow. My only minor criticism is the desserts. They weren't bad, but they were clearly outshined by the appetizers and main courses by a wide margin. That aside, we'll definitely be returning. Grazie was a mixed experience for us. We started with the bruschetta and ravioli fritti appetizers, which were fine but nothing memorable. For mains, we ordered the margherita pizza, pesto penne, fettuccine alfredo, pasta primavera, and gorgonzola tortellini. Overall, the food was okay but did not taste very authentic, although the tortellini really stood out. The service was great and very attentive, although it felt a little aggressive at the end when plates were cleared almost immediately after we finished. Every time we go through the area we have to stop in for our favorite Calabrese pizza! They have perfected the thin crispy tender crust and the spicy slice always hits the spot! Our past experiences at the Canyon Park location were mixed with the last, mediocre at best. We decided to go back to try again. We had a quiet table and the server was pleasant. Then the food came and it went downhill from there. The bread is like store bought sliced bread with wrapped pats of butter. Our entrees came and they were very bland. I had shrimp and it did not taste fresh at all. My husband ordered the pasta with bolognese and it was also bland and the meatballs were overcooked. Our server never came to check in on us after we received our entrees (delivered by someone else). We had to flag down our server to ask for salt & pepper as well as parmasean cheese. The quality and flavor of the food does not match the expensive menu prices. Amaro Bistro in Bothell and Pasta Nova in Woodinville are superior options and more authentic for Italian food. Overall a great dinner experience here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The service was great, everyone enjoyed their drinks/food, and the vibes were nice where we could all have a conversation and hear each other but weren't the only ones in the restaurant. The only downside was that we had a reservation made but didn't get seated until 20 or 25 minutes after because they were so busy on a Friday evening (it was a bit tricky to find an available parking spot even though the lot is decently sized), so we just waited at the front of the restaurant. Once we got seated, everything went smoothly. This was my first time at Grazie, and I enjoyed the bruschetta (appetizer for the table) and the complimentary bread. I ordered the bolognese with spicy sausage, and I really liked the spicy flavor. It was actually spicy, which I was pleasantly surprised by, and the meat overall was flavorful. The portion size was also nice, and I had leftovers. For dessert, I got the crème caramel. I liked the caramel flavor, and it felt like I was eating flan's cousin with a thicker and almost cheesecake-like consistency. I probably should have split this with one of my friends because it felt a little too thick and heavy since I was full, so I took the leftover portion to go. It was nice finally trying Grazie for the first time. I'd likely come back for a special occasion because I thought the prices were a little steep, but I appreciated the good service and the yummy dinner. read more

Wow we had the best experience here! Here's the thing, I've driven by this restaurant so many times and thought it was just a chain. I finally made a reservation for our anniversary and got out a lovely bottle of wine to pay a corkage fee for. All of the food was delicious and our server was so sweet and kind. Like who doesn't love a good sourdough plus garlic olive oil!!!! We ordered a couple shots and ordered our dinner! I ordered the Bucatini Romana the flavors throughout this dish are exquisite. Caramelized onions , bacon chunks in every bite my mouth is still watering!! My bf ordered Crab and shrimp cannelloni with a side of Alfredo sauce!!! I of course had a bite this dish was super flavorful especially with the added Alfredo sauce. The portion they serve was a good size and needless to say he every last bite!!! We took my 99 year old mother in law to Grazie for her birthday. The four of us brought a small birthday cake that a friend gave her. The manager quickly told us they would have to charge us to cut it. We declined and they stored it in their refrigerator. When we paid the bill we thought they might at least give her a free scoop of ice cream. How many times foes a 99 year old come in for her birthday. Fairly unassuming exterior and interior, welcoming, not too bright not too dark. We sat in the bar area. Great selection of beers on tap and amazing drinks. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. What's 5/5 is the service! Our server, Ashley, was probably the best server I've ever had. Grazie has been a sweet spot and an adored taste for years. I have had many dinning experiences here, and have loved all of them. Servers who care, pay attention to detail and work hard are a staple of Grazie. Only ever experiencing Italian food on the west coast, my assumption is that it's as close to authentic Italian as it gets. They do take training courses in Italy so that is saying something. The ambiance is a bonus with moody lighting. My fiancé and I enjoyed the crab and artichoke dip, as well as the Caesar salad and two main entrees. We have always enjoyed Grazie's excellent food and service -- so much so that it's a go-to for entertaining our out-of-town family and friends. Our last visit was no exception -- the restaurant staff was able to fit us in during Thanksgiving week, and all of the folks there were welcoming and courteous. We had dinner there yesterday evening. This used to be one of our absolute favorite Italian restaurants. We were utterly disappointed at the food that we were served. My husband had the seafood plate. The fish lacked flavor and was very bland. The pasta was completely overcooked and had an awful texture. My son had the steak and it was very thin and poor quality. He ordered a medium rare, but it looked rare. I had the gnocchi with a light red sauce, and it was topped with a fried chicken thigh. The chicken was very good, but the gnocchi were completely drenched in sauce. The appetizer which was fried calamari was tasty. My son had pasta with blue cheese and pears, and he did not care for it either. It was exceptionally disappointing. we ate at this restaurant in the past probably 67 times. And it was perfect every single time I don't know what happened but we will not go back. It has been a few years since we last ate there so maybe they changed recipes or the shift. read more

It's okay, and I'd go back. Food is prepared well, even though it's hardly the "authentic Italian" it claims to be. It's basically some weird in-between cuisine that's not Italian-American but not really Italy Italian either. For example, they have Pollo Parmesan--their take on the Italian-American Chicken Parm. There is no such dish in Italy. There's Eggplant Parm, which is where Chicken Parm came from, but there's no Pollo Parmesan in Italy. And it's a dish stuck in limbo. It's not cheesy enough or big enough to be Italian-American Chicken Parm, but it tastes good. It's like they tried to make an Italy Italian version. Eh. Some of the other pasta dishes are swimming in so much cheese that they are Italian-American (mostly American) like, not something you see in most of Italy. But most of the food is good. Not fantastic, but good. And with good ingredients, execution, and flavor. One exception is the espresso. They buy green coffee and roast it in house, and they aren't good at it. Worst cup of espresso I ever had. Over-roasted, chemically, and no good flavor notes to speak of. Avoid that and you'll be good. I'd go back. I just wouldn't go out of my way to get there. read more

We chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration. We had a very mixed experience, not all bad but not good enough to come here again. Our servers were nice but not super attentive. The menu is pretty long and they have a kids menu which was helpful. We were immediately greeted with sourdough bread and garlic oil for dipping. We decided to order off the daily special menu. And kids went for spaghetti. Portions were sizable which explains the high prices. Spaghetti and meatballs were very good. The sauce is not too acidic and not too sweet or salty. My husband went for the lamb special which was very good. Would highly recommend that dish. However, my halibut was overcooked and the whole dish was not hot, barely warm. There is nothing I hate more than getting cold food. On a positive note, the flavor was good, I liked the risotto and the pistachio crusting on the fish. But the dry fish was disappointing. Asparagus was more for decoration, cold and tasteless. We didn't go for dessert. Portions were very filling. Slightly bummed because the reviews were promising and we live close by. read more

I think, in general, this place on the interior reminds me of being on a cruise. I don't know why, but I get a really strong vibe of cruise ship dining inside. It is dimly lit. It's located off of the freeway, so super accessible and plenty of free parking. This place is family friendly with young kids. They have plenty of space inside for dine in and facilities. The staff is friendly and quick to seat you and to service you. It feels like the food comes out in the right amount of time. Like it's not coming out so fast you think it's microwaved and it's not taking so long to come out that you're starting to get annoyed. We got free ice tea refills and our water was full. But I wouldn't say it's like fancy style service. I like that the menu is one larger page with Italian favorites. They also have a drink and bar menu, so for sure a place you can get a cocktail. And a seasonal menu. So that's nice, you can get something new here. The pricing is above average for this area for some of the entrees. The portions are good though and the plating is nice. I would say half of the food meets expectations. The bread here is really good though. And the goat cheese appetizer ia worth coming back for over and over again. read more
