When I finally met her in person, it was just for a split second but then we did a walk to class and she was mentioning about how she does a time management appointment as soon as she said that I went ahead and I booked the appointment with her and come to find out. Yes, she does help you with time management, but she's also your person. I talk to her about why I chose West Coast and how it's so student centric And what it means for me to become a nurse one day and she said she kind of saw herself in me with everything that has happened in my life and anytime that I need Diana for something I email her she responds to me very quick she's very fast she's an awesome advisor From the little time that i have known her I can tell that she does care for the students and the department and I could tell that she really does care for me and I even told her you know please hold my hand to help me with this entire process because I know it's going to get harder from here. if anyone wants to join West Coast University please do it is very student centric and they do care about you especially my advisor Diana honestly I know that if one day I have a meltdown I can go straight to her and she will calm me down. Trust me, they'll find a way to push you out. Talking to the director? Doesn't matter--they don't care. It's all about tuition dollars. They set students up to fail. Concerns aren't addressed, they're brushed aside. The entire system feels designed to profit off students instead of genuinely educating them. I started the whole process with them January 20 25 paid them in full as I'm a self-pay student. They have not been able to get their act together yet taken $13,999 from me and One week after I sent them wire for that amount they deactivated my NSU email and shark link account and withdrew me from all of my classes for fall 2025. I had applied to six other universities and not pursued those even though they would've been closer to my home because I thought NOVA would be the best as they promoted themselves and told me everything will be fine. As far as the office that's where my problem is. Paramedics program is split into 2 terms academically. If you don't make it past midterms, you have to start with a new class which is fair. As far as financially the school splits there terms into 3. So if you start term 2 and don't complete it, you owe the school for all of the term 2. So I am a veteran and my benefits pay for what I attended. The school is now saying I owe them which in my opinion the school is stealing from veterans. There's my problem the school never explained that in full detail. That's why I wouldn't recommend the school to veterans.

They also don't help with job placement, they just tell you to apply on the company's website. Also the bathrooms are ALWAYS disgusting, no toilet paper, pee on the toilet and no soap. One time there was feces clogged in the toilet and no one bothered to fix it. Other than this, the course went well all thanks to our professor which is the only reason why I would recommend this school.

The Kendall campus is clean and it's the only campus that offers (in person) Italian courses. The facility is always kept clean but the accessibility (Elevator) is not the best.
