Easy driving in to pump and also to park. Friendly cashier. Variety of packaged snacks, rolling hot dogs, wide brewed coffee variety and lots of refrigerated drinks. Notable cheese and fresh fruit/healthy selection. Loved the Idaho vacuumed-pack cheese curds. There is also a fresh made to order fresh sandwich shop. I go here for one reason only. And i hate that im letting people in on my secret cause it means they might be sold out more. They sell DairyGold milk. The old fashioned chocolate is creamy n thick. Qnd their whole milk is awesome too. Their expiration dates are further put than most brands. I just think it is a superior product. read more

Not a huge fan of this location. This location often has crime associated with it, unsavory patrons needing the restroom key, and general craziness most times I have been in. One of the most disappointing aspects was being forced to wear a mask if I wanted to patronize their business. Masks are not mandatory. Didn't have to wear one to buy groceries, I shouldn't be FORCED to wear one to purchase gasoline. Hence, my current post and review. I have other conscience store options. The nice owners of the Indian market on lakeside have always been accommodating to my small needs! I would recommend that connivence store over ANY jacksons in Reno. Essentially, Jackson's is a great location if you are looking to get robbed, harassed by a "customer", or just generally taken advantage of. read more

Worst place to get a smog in Reno! Just went to get a vehicle smog check. I purchased a New vehicle and needed a quick smog check, before I went to the DMV. I pulled up and there was no one available at the time. However, about two minutes after pulling up this person stands up who had been inside the shack checking his Social media accounts. He begin to order me around to do his job opening the hood looking under the car and removing items so that he could get a signal for his RPM gauge. I have never seen an employee add a smog station be so lazy. To top it off the gentleman was rude in the way that he ordered me around to do his job. I mean, who is paying you? Long story short, do not go here and waste your time and get frustrated over something that should be an easy in and out. read more

Yep, I'm writing a review on a gas station :) I like this station because my car has a small tank and requires premium fuel. The pumps here are individual to the grade you are buying so you don't get a hose full of regular before the premium starts to flow. Only place in town I'll buy gas from for my hot rod. read more

I was on the fence about whether I should give this gas station for 5 so I wanted to give it a 4.5 but I ended up giving it at 5 because it's supposed to my house and I really use it so often it's become one of my favorite go-to spots for gas stations even though I know it's not the cleanest gas station in town maybe not even the cheapest gas in town but I know the people here in the street to my house so those aspects are important and that's what having a convenience stores all about some that's why I gave this Jacksons a 5-star rating because really super easy for me and the people are nice and they smile at me and sometimes the guys hit on me and that's a little unsavory but I've gotten used to it so that's that! I'm nearly 30 years old and not only could I not buy papers here after being a regular for 9 months but he also wasted my husband's time over the deal. I told him I would send my husband in for them and he acted like that was fine only to then tell my husband no he couldn't sell to that 30 yr old either because there was an unidentified 30 yr old in his car. Mind you I've gone in regularly for 9 months, often standing next to my husband. I have never had both of us ided which means if it is actually a law he takes seriously he needs to call and report himself at once. Obviously it had significantly more to do with me being queer and him being a jerk. I was spending roughly 200 a week there in gas and goods, but they aren't the only gas station in town and we won't be back. read more
