I go here every year for my smog, the staff are always kind and considerate. There is never a wait which I like. It's close to my house in Sparks which makes it super convenient for me. Located by the Baskin Robbin's off of McCarran & Prater way. The smog is $35. I've never had an issue getting my cars smogged here. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. read more

I do not know how I ended up at this place again. K am on my car because it is raining and this guy is talking to me from the front of my car. Telling to get out. I thought he meant to go all the way inside. I am not dressed properly. He said well then you're going to have to come back because I am not going to reach around you. I said well I can get out so you can do it. So then I got in the backseat and moved out of his way right away. I don't think he knows and understands what I need for him to do his job. It's not my job to know what he needs. This jerk needs to have more patience. Over here talking to me like I'm stupid. Like I get a smog check every day and I'm supposed to know. We bought a car Saturday for my son to take to Idaho. We needed to get a smog certificate and get to the DMV as he was leaving Sunday. my wife found this place and it was five dollars cheaper than a couple of the other Saturday places near. We drove up to the small Glen, guy came out and leave the keys in the car will take care of it. We went inside and five minutes later it was ready. Everybody was friendly, service was quick, and the price was right. Can't see anything better than that. We will definitely come back. read more

Our master tech on north MCCARRAN in sparks has always been outstanding. I've been having smogs done on at least cars every year since smogging began in nv. Never will I go anywhere else. Came here as my usual smog place was closed and this was close by. Service was quick and the attendant was friendly. The first machine wasn't working right so I had to move over, but it was no big deal as there wasn't anyone else there. I was a bit sticker shocked by paying $40 for a smog check though. I had the most unfortunate experience with a worker at this store. He was down right rude! Not only did he ignore the fact I was parked with my car running due to the extreme heat, he went into his office and sat down after he was finished with his customer. I walked in and asked him about a smog. Because I was not in correct parking spot he couldn't help me. Really? I told him I would move it over one spot. However, someone else pulled up and he refused to help me at all. I told him he was rude and I would never give this business my money ever!!! read more

Needed a smog check (obviously), express lube's smog machine was down so we went here. We were the only customers in the lot. Worker approached us in a friendly manner, and had the test done in less than 5 minutes. 4stars instead 5 because it costs $30, you can get it cheaper elsewhere. read more

This place is so rude!!! I've called 2 different locations from instant smog trying to find out their cost for a smog check. After the 6th call (5 calls with no answer) Some guy picks up the phone, and I ask him how much they charge? Instead of telling me their price he ask WHY HAVE YOU BEEN CALLING?! Uhm because I am trying to find out how much you charge for a smog check. Still he doesn't answer me and tells me my number has shown up on the call log. Ok? That's called caller I'D! he says i have been calling weeks and days ago! I can't believe the unprofessional response I got from this man! I really wish I would have got his name. I finally said, all I want to know is how much you guys charge, (I'm trying to bring my business to them) And he FINALLY tells me $30 , I say thanks I'll be taking my business somewhere else! I don't care if you are having a rough day,if another customer pissed you off or whatever the case may be. This is just simply not the way to customer service. You should be happy that I called you 6 WHOLE TIMES, because I wanted to smog my car with this business. But now I'll go pay $40 dollars for a smog and some great customer service. read more

The person? That was testing my old truck, tested two other cars that showed up after me. This would not have bugged me, but new cars take half the time to smog then my old truck and you have to keep your eye on it, he did not, he was helping the other people and my truck failed and he still charged me. Most smog shops in town will not charge if you fail plus he did not say if you fail you will have to pay full price. in my opinion. read more
