It's in…read moremixed-use development, with businesses on the ground floors of some buildings and apartments up top. The first couple times I turned down this road, I was certain the directions were wrong, because it looks so residential. But never fear. There's even parking, usually. Mr Park has a small shop with a few display cases showing off rings, bracelets, and other jewelry. Lots of sparkles. There are a few old-fashioned mantle clocks (I have kind of a thing for these), and a few miscellaneous other decorative items. Signs say he buys gold. He sits at a workbench behind the cases, and seems to do a steady business in watch and clock repair. I brought in a new watch I'd gotten for Christmas that needed links added to the band. Off-the-shelf watches are always too small for my meathead wrists. He didn't happen to stock extra links, but I got a few from the customer service department of the watch manufacturer. He got right to work the second I came in, and tapped it all together while I sat in his one chair. $10 to take a watch I couldn't even fit over my hand and turn it into something I can wear comfortably whenever I want. It took him maybe 5 minutes. Mr Park isn't the chattiest person you've ever met. He didn't even shoot the breeze with me at all until he was ringing me out. But he's a friendly, nice guy once the work is done. Watch and clock people always seem to be hyper-focused, from what little I know. Given how much more he smiled after tuning up my watchband, I think that might be his vibe. I have a mantle clock that doesn't always run and I think I might be back here to tune that up when I think of it.

Her energy is warm and calming, and she has this incredible ability to make you feel like the most important person in the room. Darcy knows her stuff--her expertise is undeniable. She brought a professional eye to every element and had thoughtful answers or suggestions for everything I needed. Whether it was styling choices, timing, or little last-minute tweaks, she handled it all with confidence and grace. She went above and beyond in every way--her communication was clear, consistent, and thoughtful. She was so accommodating with every request and detail, no matter how small. I felt like a million bucks every step of the way, and it's all thanks to her care, professionalism, and incredible attention to detail. She brought a level of calm, organization, and genuine care that made a real difference in how I felt leading up to and on the big day. I would trust her with any person, any event, and every single detail--she's that good. If you're looking for someone who truly gets it, who will make you feel beautiful, heard, and completely taken care of--Darcy is your person. I can't thank her enough for everything she did to make my wedding experience so special.

The layer of tulle was hacked by scissors. -The bra cups were sewn in upside down and Darcy recommended I get body tape to tape in my boobs (then what is the point of getting the dress altered to your body?!) -the back was suppose to be taken in but was left floppy -the top of the dress was cutting into my neck, so she cut it with scissors right in front of me, leaving a jagged neckline. -she said the dress was ironed, but it was full of wrinkles They had my dress for 3 months and didn't return it till 5 days before my wedding day. I went to a second seamstress (2 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING DAY) and she was shocked to see poor the quality of work! I had so much anxiety and panic as I wasn't sure if the dress would be presentable on my wedding day. On top of the sloppy work, every single time I was there, I felt like just a number. I was rushed to try the dress on and rushed out, while other brides were waiting. I reached out to Darcy, and she wouldn't give me a refund. She makes you sign a paper accepting her work with no refunds. Red flag! It took me me so long to write this review because it brings back so much anxiety for me. I don't even like looking at my wedding dress in photos anymore. If you are thinking of choosing Fragile Fit, DON'T! Read my review, go with a different seamstress, it will save you from so much anxiety and tears.

This is a full-sized store, too--not one of the mini-mart-sized ones. In long My lovely bride has an almost narcotic level of dependence on Life Saver mints, and last night we ran out. She was genuinely stressed about having to try to sleep with dry mouth, so off I went. This is a huge parking lot and a couple of big strip malls. The side street is kinda the avenues that time forgot--striping is faded, looks almost crumbly. Not a real high-falutin' setting, but okay. Inside, it's as big as some department stores. Lots of different sections of items left over from other places. It's a bit gloomy, but clean enough. I finally figured out that the "Snack" section included no candy or mints, and bought literally a pound of Pep-O-Mints when I finally found the candy aisle. People here are quiet and can seem kinda bummed out unless you make some cheerful small talk. I got home and did the math--the mints really were even cheaper here than they are in bigger bags at the supermarket. Nice! Short drive from our place, too. This spot did the trick last night.

Most employees are lukewarm, but last year, there was one who was flat-out rude to me. She is a native, and I am not so maybe that's why? Maybe not? Anyway, I just avoid going into her line. I am willing to put up with low customer service in exchange for a particular combo of cosmetic items I use that make my skin glow. I also buy certain craft items and ice cream bars for the kids. Can't beat the prices. Read my one-star review of a different Lynnwood Dollar Tree. I recommend avoiding that one until they fire the manager there. Anyway, this one gets a 2.5, so I rounded up to a 3.0 for now. -
