On top of that, the cashier up front was rude during checkout. I definitely won't be coming back, and thankfully, I don't live in the area, so I won't have to.

I love Macys. I have spent a ton of money in this store since they opened. I have never had an…read moreissue until recently. I went in two weeks ago to pick up a purchase and buy something; simple. The clerk was beyond rude but the store manager came and corrected the issue. I ordered a pair of shoes online for store pick up. I saw three pair on the rack at 815pm on 12/22. At 930am, I ordered them online for store pick up. At 1pm, I received an email stating they were out of stock and shipped instead I needed them for Christmas. I went in around 6pm on 12/23 to pick up the rest of my order. I went to shoes and found all three pair. I took one pair to Customer Service to see if they could switch it back to store pick up. Juanita, clerk, was beyond rude. I was laughed at in my face for asking. I attempted to explain that I received an email they were out of stock. I tried showing her the email on my phone. I was met with laughing, eyes rolling, head twisting, and beyond rude comments. I stopped her and said "please stop, I don't deserve this type of treatment." She thought that was ridiculous. An assistant manager came and told her to leave. This didn't stop the behavior. As I attempted to explain what occurred, she stood there interrupting making "uggghhh" noises. I was simply attempting to pick up an order and make another purchase. I then asked to speak to the STORE MANAGER. Well, Juanita went at it again telling me SHE is the store manager, laughing, snickering, and twisting her head. I explained the STORE MANAGER is a man, not a woman. The assistant manager then confirmed he left for the day. I told them to cancel the order and I would go to DSW. They then said they would have to call customer service to cancel the order. While on the phone with customer service, the assistant manager decided to talk about me to another employee who sat there and stared at me. When I left, I picked up the shoes and walked away. I stated I would put the shoes away and didn't need help. I considered having the clerk in the shoe department by the exit ring them up. The clerk the assistant manager talked about me to decided to scream across the store "thank you for your patience, Happy Holidays." This was not out of kindness. It was pure sarcasm. I was more than 700-800ft away. I kept going as it is pointless to engage in this ridiculous behavior. My grandson saw them laughing. I wish I could say I was rude. It would at least explain their behavior. I simply wanted to pick up my shoes. I cancelled my Macys credit card. I will go to Stonebriar to return the shoes. Dillards is a much better option. It is never acceptable for customer service associates to act like this. No wonder Macys is closing stores at rapid rates. Juanita has helped me so many times over the years. I have never had an issue with her until last night. She is usually quiet and matter of fact. I was shocked by her animation last night. I never saw that coming.

Visiting the Dallas area and wanted a body wave perm and trim haircut on my short (collar length)…read morehair. I've had the same done at JCP in Austin and was very satisfied. So I made an appointment at the Fairview, TX location with Tina, whose bio on JCP website, says she's been a stylist for 20+ years. There was only one other customer in the shop while I was there and Tina was working on both of us (no complaint about that at all) After the perm was done, she dried my hair and THEN cut it. Never have I had a dry-cut. She cut in what I can only call a frenzy, with dry hair flying everywhere. When she was done, she asked me to check it and I could see the sides were different lengths, as was the back. She dry-cut to 'fix it', and had to do take several attempts to even everything up, but I still came away with one side shorter than the others over my ears. She was nice enough, but seemed to rush through everything. And I don't think she left the neutralizer on long enough or it was a bad brand of perm because now that I'm home, it hardly looks/feels like I had a perm. I would never go back to her and would caution anyone who likes their hair evenly cut, to reconsider it. I should say, I've had many MANY perms over the last 40 years and I know what it should look like and feel like, and this isn't it. I feel like I just flushed $135 and half of my hair down the drain. Very disappointing.

1-Star Review: Old Navy's Outdated & Customer-Hostile Pricing Policy…read more I am beyond disappointed with Old Navy's archaic and frankly pathetic pricing and price-adjustment policies. In 2025, it is ridiculous that a major retailer still refuses to honor their own online prices in-store unless the item is also purchased online. What kind of logic is that? I shopped in-store on Black Friday, assuming I was getting the best deal of the year -- only to find out on Cyber Monday that nearly every item I bought was significantly cheaper online. I could have saved at least 25% more had I purchased online instead of in-store. When I called customer service, I was told they "can't help" and that I had to physically go back to the store for a price adjustment. Who does this in 2025? Fine. I went to the store. Then the cashier tells me I need to bring all the items back just so they can process a return and make me re-buy everything at the online price. How is this remotely customer-friendly? How is this efficient? Why does a customer need to jump through hoops because the company refuses to align in-store and online pricing? Lesson learned: NEVER shop in Old Navy stores. Their in-store prices are almost always higher, and their policies make it incredibly difficult to get a price adjustment. If you must shop at Old Navy, buy online only -- pick up in store if you must. Online purchases offer the best pricing and customer service actually helps you over the phone. Retailers with such outdated, non-customer-centered policies have no one to blame but themselves when they struggle or go out of business. In a world where Amazon, Nordstrom, Macy's, Temu, and Shein are making shopping easier and more convenient, Old Navy is stuck in the past. Do better, Old Navy -- or prepare to be left behind.
