I even raised an objection to the district manager - nothing. What happened? I intended to purchase a cap. When the store clerk range up the purchase, the price was $3 more expensive than the price marked on the cap. I pointed this out to the clerk. His response was that the price in the computer was the price he would charge me. I believe this is illegal - to charge a price higher than marked on the merchandise. I told the clerk that I thought his actions were illegal. His response was to take the merchandise out of my hands stop communicating with me. Not even an apology from the district manager.

Since I was with my 14 year old, most of my time was force in the disco era, she thinks its fascinating and loves the colors. I too was amazed at the size of the selection of 70's clothing. While I don't see myself shopping here daily, I will say that I will never buy a Halloween outfit anywhere else but here. Why would I. Matter of a fact, I think I'm going to plan my outfits for this years Halloween parties starting in early September, just so I can identify and purchase what I want early. We didn't really see much on the employee side, I'm not sure how staffed they'd be prior to any big costume type event, but one person did manage to ask if I needed help. The place is not super large, and everything is kinda cramped together, so you'll want to give yourself some time to walk around and take it all in. I was in the store for a really long time before I was acknowledged, the sales person was just really busy on their phone. She wasn't very interested in selling, didn't suggest anything additional or offered to get me additional sizes, nothing like that. When it came time to check out, she jammed all of my purchases, five or six things, into a really tiny bag. I even walked out of the store, holding one in my hand because it didn't fit. It was just a weird interaction. I also paid in cash and was handed back a wad of rumpled cash and change, not at all the appropriate way to work a cash register.
