Comment is about this office's staff that sets appointments for legal consultation and not knowing what areas of the law the office DOES NOT practice. I spoke to the office's staff this morning and was specific as to the issue I had with my landlord, even provided the exact California Civic Code that was at issue with my landlord. Made the appointment, was told the information I provided her would be given to the lawyer prior to the consultation. Got there, the lawyer Mr. Partiyeli, didn't know what my issue was, explained to him what the issue was, gave him a copy of the code, and other documents, he very quickly looked over the documents and said, he couldn't give me a legal opinion, because he does practice this kind of issue. It's not his fault I guess since he didn't answer my phone call, but that woman who made the appointment and took down my legal issue, could have saved everyone time by telling me the office does not consult/handle my kind of legal issue. read more

Earlier this Sunday morning, I was told I have 1 hour to move out of the shared studio apartment I was living in via text message. I was told this with no prior warning and was in complete panic. I will start with the fine disclaimer of attorney conduct.  Attorneys, for the most part, are eccentric and have huge alter-egos; trust me, I have just finished law school and most of us have this default.  I had two matters of which Attorney Partiyeli assisted; both were of personal injury in nature.  He and his staff, most notably Ms. Reyna Sepulveda and Ms. Udo Ekekeulu, Esq., were beyond bursts of sunshine.  They both prepared me for depositions, were stern to remind me of discovery deadlines and have now become good friends.  This office does have a lot of clients, so sometimes the wait times are a little lengthy, but it is expected since the attorney is very good, so just be patient, and I promise: you will be rewarded at the end of the case.  Frankly, the assistants are super helpful and are the heart of this operation.  For example, there were times that I would call and query as to the status of my case, and they would give me status updates as to the discovery phase, the offers that were provided and so forth.   One thing I will warn you about is the hidden gem of Attorney Jacob.  He is a true fighter.  I went with him to a deposition and to another court matter, and he was such an advocate.  The opposing attorney was trying to impeach me and was trying to talk down to me, but Attorney Jacob was quick to fight back, "Excuse me, Madam, do not talk to my client like this--I will not tolerate this".  He was very stern and powerful with his insightful communications with the insurance company's lawyer; this butch-macho trait is really helpful in this line of work.  I was quasi-scared to go to these functions, but the fact that Attorney Jacob was there was the reason I made it out safe and with a stronger legal position; he is sui generis in respect to compassionate client advocacy.   It is somewhat sad to say goodbye to this office, as I have been in constant communication for more than 4 years, so I have had the honor to see how much this bureau has expanded and grown for the better.  Now that both of my matters have been resolved, I pray that I have no additional injuries, but honestly, if I do, I will run to Attorney Jacob for assistance, and that is because this office team does have a strong work ethic, perseverance to stand up for the little guy, and are overall very warmhearted.  The law is messy, especially in the civil side, as most of the conversations surround money and liability, and frankly, I would never do it, but if you are injured or in need of a trial lawyer, please reach out to Attorney Jacob.  That is his strongest asset: he is a superb trial lawyer.  Trust me, it is hard to find these legal professionals, as most cases settle out of court, but Attorney Jacob is legendary for litigation, and he will not let you down!  I would highly recommend this lawyer and his staff to anyone who has been let down by the tort system, or who have been discriminated, terminated, or injured.  He made the four (4) years of knowing him and his staff into a memorable legal somnium.  Overall Performance Attorney Grade: 104.50% A+. i was living in Beverly Hills paying almost $3,500 in rent. The Landlords from the start began to break every law imaginable which ended up turning into a nightmare. The City got involved and was citing these slumlords for everything. These Beverly Hills Scumlords were cited by the city for everything imaginable and refused to show up for depositions, cooperate with the discovery process or even with their own Attorney. I never thought this case would come to an end but Jacob and his huge efficient staff were so persistent that it worked out in the end 100 percent in my favor via settlement.
