Most of all we valued their expertise to replace 20 year- old fixtures and correctly wire in the new replacements. The bulbs and wiring had been updated more than a year ago by a premier and well-advertised, glossy Austin landscape lighting company. To our dismay, we discovered THAT previous work (two visits) was a hodgepodge of spliced high voltage wires with wire-nuts and tape up in our trees... a fire just waiting to happen! Luminary Lights know their stuff and pride themselves in executing the job properly. No shortcuts! All were prompt in their responses and provided well written proposals. Only Grayzer included the cost of a permit in their proposal. Further a friend had their wall panel upgraded and their Tesla Wall Connector installed by Grayzier and recommended them highly. After looking at the reviews for the different certified installers, and given that a permit is required in my town to install an EV charger, I went with Grayzer. They provided a date and service window ( a week in advance of my appointment ) and the electrician, Max, pinged me about an hour prior to his arrival. I showed Max my ideal location for the Tesla Wall Connector and he was able to accommodate without having to cut away any drywall or running conduit outside the wall ( YMMV ). Very friendly, professional and knowledgable. He took the information/pictures required by Tesla and by my town's permitting authority, commissioned the Wall Connector, showed my how to add it to the Tesla Application on my iPhone and verified that it was charging at the specified rate (48 amps). He was happy to answer any questions I might have, and I am just delighted by the service and work done. I would recommend highly to friends, neighbors, et al. All in all, quick, fast, efficient, and professional. Cleaned up work area when done. Thank you!

We couldn't install a parking structure because of the narrowness of the lot. Making an appointment is easy. They came out to do an estimate, drew up the plans, and got us on the schedule for the following week. Communication was prompt and friendly. Installation took two days, one to dig the holes and insert the poles, and another to install the shade itself (both processes are very fast, but I think the concrete needs time to cure). Price was extremely reasonable and there are several colors and sizes to choose from. We are extremely happy with the product and service. Highly recommend!

Overall, the quality doesn't match the price, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for professional workmanship and reliable follow-through. A real bad stud. High and low.

I'm super impressed by Jacob and very grateful for his help and expertise. I recently called him to ask for a quote on a job that would have involved re-routing some wiring to make room for a door. He replied within half an hour with a very reasonable price estimate, then came to my house just a few hours later to take a look. When he checked the circuitry in question, it turned out that the two outlets I'd assumed were connected were not--meaning that no wiring was in the way of my planned door, and no work was actually needed. My bad! This is an even better test of someone's professionalism than a paid job: Even though Jacob came to my home for free, he was incredibly courteous and helpful. I will definitely call him again when I need some real electrical work. read more

We had our main breaker trip three times in one day on our 30ish year old house. Having never had this issue before, we decided to contact an electrician and called Jacob. They didn't answer, but sent a text right away. When I texted explaining our problem, they replied that they had an opening and could come within the hour. They gave me a labor price, and a cost estimate for a new main breaker switch immediately. They were there within an hour. They did a thorough job of checking all the breakers, tightening everything, and diagnosing and fixing the problem. They were honest, friendly and fast. Homer's solution was much more simple to just pull it from the breaker box in the garage. He clarified that at night times when the usage is low, the rest of the house won't need much and I could likely safely pull 50Amp without tripping the breaker. And if I did, he said I could just use the charger at half power instead. Cost a fraction of what the others were quoting. He was able to get it all done the next day, took about 30mins. Will update the review once I use the outlet for a few weeks.

I called Pritchard to take care of an issue I was having with one breaker that kept tripping during storms. They told me that there were so many problems with the electrical system not being to code that I'd be better off replacing the entire panel, meter, mast, and meter loop. I wasn't too excited about the $2200 upgrade, but I knew the service was old and was willing to take their advice. Problem #1: On the phone call and when the electrician showed up, there was no mention that I'd have to pay $90 for an estimate. After the estimate was complete, he told me I needed to write him a check for his time (maybe 20 min). I believe in paying people for their time, but to give no notice ahead of time is a little shady. I have had several other electricians over for other issues and none charged for an estimate. Problem #2: The work was completed and everything seemed fine. Then comes the first storm and the same breaker tripped, which was our original issue. I write Gary, explain that the original issue is still a problem and he writes me back with a single sentence: "What do you want me to do about?" At this point, it was pretty obvious that there was no interest in helping us solve the problem we originally called them about. I wrote back saying I don't EXPECT anything for free, I'd just like some advice on why the full panel replacement that they recommended had no effect. Gary never wrote back.

The electrician verified it was safe and correct and explained how to make the changes we wanted to make on our own, essentially charging us for just the service call since we could do the actual work (outlet/switch replacement). The second time was to install a vent fan in the bathroom, which needed electrical run to the fan and a second switch in the wall. They showed up on time, worked straight through, did a great job and were clear about the charges up front (and at a great hourly rate). We've got a project identified for a condo we own and will be going to them for it, as well.... can't say enough good things. On time, quality work, great communication. Trifecta!

(I had just lost a lot of food with the old frig and was rather frustrated with it all) It was 9:45pm. It took him 45min to an hour. Fixed the issue in like 15 min and made sure all was well before he left. He knew what he was doing and he explained it as he did. He gave me some information about the breaker and put my mind to rest. Friendly, courteous and just all around great guy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MAN!
