Theirs is a deep dish version with layers and layers of phyllo and a few secret ingredients that the chef wasn't willing to share (of course I asked!) It was incredible and truth be told...it was the best part of my first experience at The Laundry. We also ordered a proper lunch with a couple sammies and some French Onion soup. My girl ordered the Croque Monsieur and I ordered the #97. I liked hers and she preferred mine so we swapped. The potato salad they brought with my 97 was just meh....the potatoes weren't cooked all the way and the mayo-yogurt based dressing was kind of a bummer, but the two different styles of pickles we ordered helped carry the sandwiches. This place is a big expensive for what you get, it is typical of food trucks to have small portions and high prices. But, if you are eating here, you are paying for an experience. This is a party atmosphere for all ages. You can eat outside, which we did, or inside. They have lawn games outside and arcade games inside on two levels. I would eat at this place again. I would just like to see perhaps a larger fry portion or slightly cheaper burger price.

The chips tasted homemade, thin and crispy with just the right amount of salt. The salsa was a little thinner than I prefer, but it had a nice kick once it arrived. For our meal, we ordered the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas. The steak and chicken were both moist, flavorful, and well seasoned. The shrimp, unfortunately, didn't have much flavor, and I was disappointed by the vegetable ratio. There was a huge bed of onions and only about one pepper in the mix. One of the highlights was the steak tacos. The steak was chopped into small pieces, packed generously into the tortillas, and so tender and juicy that you could barely close them. They were absolutely delicious. We also tried the handmade chicken taquitos appetizer. They come cut into smaller pieces rather than whole taquitos, but don't let that fool you. The chicken was finely shredded, the crispy exterior was perfect, and the spicy sauce that came with them was excellent. The portion was surprisingly large and easily shareable. A special shoutout to our server, Parker. He was fantastic. He checked on us frequently without being intrusive, offered menu recommendations, brought us extra tortillas without us even having to ask, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Great service can make a meal memorable, and Parker definitely did that. There is plenty of parking since the restaurant is located in a plaza, though it's easy to drive right past it if you're not paying attention. The only downside was the price. The Staff is as sweet as the items they sell. They are also friendly and genuinely seemed pleased to see us walk in. Many wonderful tasty treats to eat there on the spot, or to take with you. Lots & lots of Sweet deals we found too. Since there are just the two of us at home, we often buy a few extra items and freeze them when we get home. The idea is to thaw the teats out and have with our coffee & tea. However we are finding it hard to wait for the thaw and are beginning to enjoy Cupcakes & Kisses frozen treats. This business is a Must to visit if you are in or around the Holly area.
