Don't get caught in traffic ladies or your baby may be in jeopardy... Update: I just made an appointment on a different date at 8AM, and they said to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the same paperwork. So apparently the paperwork takes 15 minutes less to fill out before 8AM, if that helps anyone. Edit 2: They have charged us $50 for the missed visit. The hots keep on coming.

This office is very clear in their email/online instructions about arriving early, cancellations, etc. It's easy to schedule appointments. They're not very pushy doctors, but they do have their conventional ways of medical practice, but you can request otherwise and they will oblige. It's nice having a rotation of doctors and they deliver at Madison hospital. I have only seen these doctors for OB purposes and majority of those I've met are very polite, respectful of your wishes, and listen to you. The appointments can be short and seem 'rushed' at certain times (there are many appointments during your pregnancy), but people really need to understand medical and insurance practices and why they're done this way. I recommend them for pregnancy care and routine gynecological care if you desire that. Only "issue" I have had was with billing but that was mainly the fault of my insurance. All is well, which is why I'm seeing this practice again for my second child and I trust them as medical professionals.

After twelve years of being under the care of this practice, I've decided it's time to find a…read moredifferent one. The quality of care has plummeted tremendously in the last five years. My care transitioned from Dr. Callison to Dr. Raiford whenever Callison left. At first things were good. I saw Dr. Raiford for my first two appointments I'd say. She took time to talk with me and make sure everything was going well with my health. That all changed. At a recent appointment, the nurse practitioner walked in and Dr. Raiford stepped in front of the open door and asked how I was. I had to turn to see her so I could respond. Is she a vampire? Did I need to invite her in? She was stepping back and headed elsewhere in a matter of seconds. I called "Good to see you!" as she walked away. She didn't bother with a reply. This office seems like a terrible place to work. There has been constant overturn in staff. You arrive early and wait (at the minimum) half an hour to be called back, regardless to the time of day you schedule your appointment. There's no patient portal or phone calls with updates on labs or diagnostics. As many other patients have described, the billing department is indescribably bad and unhelpful. Overall, this place is like a poorly ran simulation. Very impersonal care. No eye contact. The characters keep their backs turned to you as they rattle off questions and write down your responses. Tons of NPCs in the narrow, crowded hallway hunched over their work desks typing and writing, never looking up or showing any sign of actual life. TLDR. Go elsewhere for your gynecological needs.

My husband and I were new to the area when we found out we were expecting our first baby. We weren't sure where to go and read tons of online reviews from various doctor's offices and even signed up with one of the bigger doctor's offices in the area initially (the soonest they could even see us would've been a month out although I needed to be seen sooner with the pregnancy). However, when we were referred to Dr. Eric Tallent by multiple women in the area, we cancelled that appointment and called his office. We immediately could feel a difference even on that first call - It was so much more personal and intentional. All of his nurses and staff are the SWEETEST people! I look forward to seeing them at each appointment, and they always remember me and have the biggest smiles on their faces. Now, as we're going back for appointments with our second baby on the way, they are always so excited to see our first that he delivered! Not only is the experience a great one with Dr. Tallent, but he is also so skilled at what he does. He approaches everything with a confidence that comes from doing what he's doing for over 40 years. When we delivered our first, it was a complicated birthing process and he never had a worried look on his face and made decisions quickly and confidently in a way I will forever be so thankful for! When she was born, the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck, and the way he so quickly and skillfully removed it (as well as carried himself and acted) resulted in our precious healthy baby being perfectly fine which we praise The Lord for each and every day! I actually didn't even know that happened until my husband told me later (which is only because of the way he carries himself and is so confident in what he is doing!). My husband and I can't thank God enough for Dr. Tallent and his whole team. We are so thankful for him and the way he treats his patients and skillfully does a great job at what he does. We will be patients for a long time and would 1,000% recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor in the area!

She is a very nice and friendly doctor that makes things easy to understand and helps me out a great amount. They are always there when I call and need something or am having an issue. I am a 34 yr old with irregular bleeding we did try birth control to decrease some of the bleeding however the placement of the Nexplanon (inserted by her staff) was causing issues so I made an appointment to try and get the issue corrected .. once there I was told that I needed to get a hysterectomy and "just call it a day". refusing to remove the Nexplanon or fix it. I advised her that I still wanted the option to have children in the future and wanted to go over more opt avail. She then stormed out the room and advised me that was my only option. She then and asked me to leave after i called her rude and unprofessional. she terminated my care with her !!!
