I don't have insurance and I made it very clear that money was not an issue, I just want to feel better. I kept telling her my symptoms and it's like it went in one ear and right out the other. She told me that everyone is different and this is probably how I am supposed to feel normally... I obviously know how I am supposed to feel and that wasn't it. During one of my visits I still had tons of questions and the doctor walked out on me and I had to ask "are we done?" while she was already walking away outside of the room I was in. They ran one test and whenever I got the results she said there was no medication for it and recommended an at home treatment that my doctor now said she would NEVER recommend. I then decided that I was not comfortable going to this doctor anymore and I tried out a new one, and tell me why they had no problem running different tests until they figured out what was going on with me. And the infection I had can cause infertility and health problems if not treated in a certain amount of time, and by the time I got my appointment with a new doctor it had been almost over a year that I had been sick. I'm not sure if I was treated differently because I did not have insurance, but I've had a family member say they had an issue with them before saying that they wouldn't listen to her about something making her sick and she eventually moved doctors as well. There are so many gynecologists that WANT to help you and WANT you to get better, but this is not one of those places. 0/10 would not recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I were new to the area when we found out we were expecting our first baby. We weren't sure where to go and read tons of online reviews from various doctor's offices and even signed up with one of the bigger doctor's offices in the area initially (the soonest they could even see us would've been a month out although I needed to be seen sooner with the pregnancy). However, when we were referred to Dr. Eric Tallent by multiple women in the area, we cancelled that appointment and called his office. We immediately could feel a difference even on that first call - It was so much more personal and intentional. All of his nurses and staff are the SWEETEST people! I look forward to seeing them at each appointment, and they always remember me and have the biggest smiles on their faces. Now, as we're going back for appointments with our second baby on the way, they are always so excited to see our first that he delivered! Not only is the experience a great one with Dr. Tallent, but he is also so skilled at what he does. He approaches everything with a confidence that comes from doing what he's doing for over 40 years. When we delivered our first, it was a complicated birthing process and he never had a worried look on his face and made decisions quickly and confidently in a way I will forever be so thankful for! When she was born, the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck, and the way he so quickly and skillfully removed it (as well as carried himself and acted) resulted in our precious healthy baby being perfectly fine which we praise The Lord for each and every day! I actually didn't even know that happened until my husband told me later (which is only because of the way he carries himself and is so confident in what he is doing!). My husband and I can't thank God enough for Dr. Tallent and his whole team. We are so thankful for him and the way he treats his patients and skillfully does a great job at what he does.
