My whole family goes there--mom for acrylics, grandma for mani pedis, sister for eyebrows, etc. Just getting around to reviewing now because I was back in town for my school's fall break. I got a gel (aka no chip) french manicure and am very happy with it. They take walk-ins and I got there shortly after opening and Young got started on my nails right away. No no no. I've been to Lee nails before throughout my life in countryside. I remember them being friendly and affordable. Cut to present day. I was looking for an affordable easy place to get a mani pedi with my mom before a trip and booked here. I wish I looked at the prices. My gel manicure and normal pedicure was $90 and my mom's normal mani pedi was $60 - $150 for us both. I was absolutely flabbergasted by these prices. Would these prices be ok at a fancy salon in a spa, yes. Are these prices ok at Lee nails, which is a small little shop, all the towels look so dirty and worn, the nail polish is old and the mani pedi itself is mediocre at best. Both my mom and my pedis chipped within the same week as getting them! These prices were outrageous for the quality of the salon. The workers are nice, but they love to talk. I was hoping to relax not chat the whole time. Once I got the bill, I wished I did more research. Please trust me on this, there are many other places you can find a better mani pedi for cheaper. Worst manicure ever. I just got my nails done here and asked for French tip with design on the French tip. They proceeded to put white tips on my nails after I told them not to and they said it would be fine and that it would look ok. The older lady at the salon proceeded to cut my cuticles and nails 5 times. Like so much blood. At this point I was already ready to get up and walk out the door. Then she couldn't do the design and it was only DOTS. Another person had to take over and wasn't capable either. I would never come back here. Terrible service and terrible nails. Now I have to go somewhere for them to try and fix this. I still had to give the salon money. read more

Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Since I took off my tips, I get no-chip manicures to preserve the length of my real nails. I am sooo happy because I am able to maintain long nails for the first time in my life! read more

I get my nails done in part to relax. It was terrible listening to the woman who did my nails complain about her ex-husband the whole time I was there with a lot of really vulgar language. My opinion may be biased since I used to see these people when I was in my teens then they closed down and I never knew where they went. After being rejected from another nail salon, I popped into Lee Nails and it was all the same people who used to do my nails 10 years ago. VERY nice reunion. They are VERY friendly and they even remember all my old stories and even with new customers, they are very friendly and want to get to know you. I always spend up to an hour there (at least) because we're chatting so much. Which I like, if you don't want someone talking to you then this might not be the place for you. I've gone several weeks without a fill and my nails never popped off or chipped. The nail polish stays on for weeks and they do EXACTLY what you tell them to. That's what I like best about them. Their prices are GREAT. Best I've gotten in that area. I've only been there twice since I've reunited with them so I can't say how busy they get but they do work fast and I think they do an excellent job. I dont recommend Young she loses focus quick and my nails have gotten ruined each time she's done them, she's very sweet but half the time she's watching the TV and not paying attention and even when she is it isn't good. She does not know how to shape nails or paint them correctly.. and Danny does ok he doesn't do to well when you ask for a little design like a few straight lines they turn out all squiggly. He asked me if I could fix my friends nails at home ......that he had messed up. He did acrylic on her an no chip and only charged her 20$ because he messed it up so bad.. & with Lynn I have not had any problems. I removed the nail polish myself because it had bubbles all over from when Young mixed the white nail polish with alot of acetone because it was dry. read more

Extremely unpleasant and racist nail salon. I was not allowed to even enter the store because the manager didnt like my face apparently. They had the doors locked from the inside and watched me while I knocked on the door and stood outside while it was snowing. They didnt even allow me to ask for a price list. I was skeptical about going there at first, just because I was scared I wasn't going to like it but it was the best decision I ever made. As I walked in the door they were all the friendliest staff ever, made me feel right at home. Prices are reasonable for the amazing work they do. I was having trouble choosing a color and Danny was definitely helpful, he is my go to person from now on. They really know how to make you feel right at home. I used to go here all the time for manis because they're so cheap, but with such cheap prices come cheap service. They always sloppily painted on the polish, my no chip was always bubbled and too thick on my nails. They literally talk shit about their other clients and have denied others service because they said they are annoying. This place is dirty, and unprofessional. They don't even sanitize any of their tools... disgusting! After having acrylics done by them too, they would leave all the dried glue ALL over my skin. I went to J Nails right down the strip mall, and haven't been going anywhere else since. I've never experienced pampering anywhere else like I do at J Nails. They are much more professional, and have very similar prices to Lee Nails. I wish there was a no-star option. read more

Went to this nail place from a recommendation from Someone who goes there on a regular basis saying it was good place. I went in for a pedi and mani & my experience was CRAP!! The lady who did my toes was rude & very rough with using her tool. The pedi was the fastest most sloppy pedi I've ever had.. she painted the polish on my skin & didn't even clean it up. Also didn't use a toe separator but some old paper towel .. I should of took picture to show how unprofessional they were. I was so disgusted that I didn't even stay for the mani. I picked this nail salon on a whim because it was in the same parking lot as Villa Bella and I wanted to get some "me" time in before attending an event there. I really lucked out! The workers (names escape me now) were so friendly, talkative and inviting. I got a no chip mani and regular pedi. It has been exactly three weeks and my mani looks amazing still. There is a little outgrowth at the cuticle but it doesn't look bad. The polish is still shiny. I have paid for a no-chip at other salons and always end up peeling and picking at it but I couldn't even do that if I tried. This was a great salon and I would definitely go back. I made a last minute appointment and was glad I did. They did take a few walk ins while I was there but I was glad to be guaranteed service at the time I requested. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to get gel nails and I came out with one the worst manicures I've ever had. I have gone there before and usually did good work, so I decided to go there again. I went in and the nail polish didn't even cover my nail, it went on my skin, and my nails were totally misshapen in in the cuticles weren't even cut. I called back and asked if I can get a refund after I had left not looking completely at my nail, and she said no. I went and got them done it is different location instead, and the manager at Lee Nails said because of that she refused to give me a refund. Worst customer service, I will never be going back. The salon itself was dirty. They used magazines in place of a towel/paper towels to do nails on and would "rip a page off" every new seat they had. Didn't even use lotion for a hand massage, but put a drop of cuticle oil on my hand instead. Do not go here. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Luv Nails down the street. read more

If possible, I would have given this place NO stars. This place is a waste of money for sure. Of course they're very friendly and nice but they cover up their terrible nail experience while they smile excessively at you. I'm not even kidding, they put seven coats on my nails for no chip. Two base coats, 3 coats of color, and two top coats. So of course, my nails looked all big and bubbly and disgusting. I was horrified, walking out with my head down, paying 47 dollars for a no chip manicure with a tip. I came back the next day and told them I was disappointed. Wouldn't refund me. Well I'm not coming back. I used to love them but they don't take time on your nails like they should be doing. They don't get your cuticles, they just file your nails and begin.
