They had Xmas ornaments for sale in the very back. We looked at everything, row by row. I don't need to go to San Francisco for truffles, they sell it here. So many items for goody bags or party favors. One star deducted cuz I ordered a coffee gelato and she gave me a chocolate shake. The size is very small also but... it was brain freeze delicious. Just one sales person visible. She remained behind the counter. There was a couple before me and a lady behind me. Bought chocolate covered fortune cookies came three to a bag or in singles. I'm sure you can guess which one I chose. I'm pretty sure we'll be visiting Waikele more often when the call of chocolate or a cold refreshment is wanted.

I took the half pound ginger to the park today and gave half to my granddaughter. It's delicious. The employee was friendly and told me how long they've been in business.

We see the pop ups in from of target ala Moana, HGEA fair, and most recently pearlridge mall down town. The special holiday candies are so good..cookie butter, Christmas mix and more. The candies are so unique to Hawaii and just different. We bumped into a Noms kiosk which was so exciting and were able to taste the new cookie butter flavors. The kiosk person was nice. He gave us free samples and saw deals when purchasing multiple bags. Lotsa flavors to choose from. Kiosk may look bare and small but there are so many options and this makes for a good option when thinking of what to send during holiday season. Love the bright lights and simple display.

The last time I purchased dog treats, my little indoor dog Sadie managed to climb on a chair and onto the dining table, open the plain "unmarked" brown bag of dog treats (as if she could read), chew into a ziploc bag containing the remainder of an open bag of chicken gizzards! My hubby said that I have to make sure that all of the chairs are pushed against the dining table so Sadie cannot use them to climb onto the dining table. I responded that he should train HIS dog (have you ever say that? YOUR child, or YOUR grandchild?) to not go onto the table. Sadie hasn't done that before! Now, Sadie is on two legs, begging, whenever anyone approaches THE NEW brown paper bag.

Who says that one thing can change your day…read more.. Have you ever seen the art Aloha Sweet Cotton Candy makes!?! This tiny little cart makes cotton candy figures and one of them of course totally captured my attention...Cony! It has all the features and I was that close to get one but I had other plans and decided to pass. Fortunately there was a sweet dad getting his daughter a piggy and omg super super cute! Just seeing that expression on her face was just priceless and a few others gathering around watching with such love seeing this sweet child feeling like the luckiest kid was amazing. This does take me back to Harajuku with the giant rainbow cotton candy and the fun it brings. I do make an effort for some me time and fun experiences as taking that time to make your soul happy can be as simple and something sweet. Thank you!
