After satisfying my smoothing cravings at Hang's French Cafe & Smoothies which is right next door you know I had to give them a visit and as I walked in I just didn't expect to see so many options to neatly displayed at this cool shop. One wall is filled the snacks the local love and the easy grab and go does take care of cravings instantly along with some Pop Mart items though isn't quite the snack we sure have been eathing up the rave that's been keeping us guessing ourselves. Many of their items are crafted like specialty popcorn, Hawaiian Frost Soft Serve, Shaved Ice, and even açaí bowls. Keeping the coolness after my smoothie I decided on some dipping' dots as I stared into the display case with the various flavor offerings it was the "Cool Mint Crunch" oh yeah the minty coolness really hit the spot and bits of Oreo was so yummy as it kept me still for a moment as I enjoyed my treat before I continued on my errands taking this me time was just right. I'm on the search for something similar but no luck so far. Besides preserved fruits they have lots of candy kiddies might enjoy. I chose li hing cherry and li hing ginger. I took the half pound ginger to the park today and gave half to my granddaughter. It's delicious. The employee was friendly and told me how long they've been in business.

Perfectly named as there are jars and jars of yummy crack seeds filled with all our favorite cravings right in Pearlridge Center ground level right outside of Macy's though you can't miss this cute vibrant little nook with the classic Icee sign protruding out calling you to this oasis. Besides the usual M&M's you can find lots of asian and local favorite snacks along with drinks and Icee are found here the nostalgia is real here though is a tight navigating between different sections is real I usually get frustrated as folks are literally shopping not moving at all gets me outta here and take as a sign that I didn't need it lol! Noms is the vocabulary that we foodies tend to describe and Hawaii Candy Factory has created and kicked up our favorite sweets and put fun local twists on it to make it somehow of their own. You can find them pretty much everywhere here in Hawaii in the local stores and events around town with the staff generously handing out samples of their classics or newest flavor and not sure how but they make it all happen which you know at first bite. We see the pop ups in from of target ala Moana, HGEA fair, and most recently pearlridge mall down town. The special holiday candies are so good..cookie butter, Christmas mix and more. The candies are so unique to Hawaii and just different. We bumped into a Noms kiosk which was so exciting and were able to taste the new cookie butter flavors. The kiosk person was nice. He gave us free samples and saw deals when purchasing multiple bags. Lotsa flavors to choose from. Kiosk may look bare and small but there are so many options and this makes for a good option when thinking of what to send during holiday season. Love the bright lights and simple display.

The last time I purchased dog treats, my little indoor dog Sadie managed to climb on a chair and onto the dining table, open the plain "unmarked" brown bag of dog treats (as if she could read), chew into a ziploc bag containing the remainder of an open bag of chicken gizzards! My hubby said that I have to make sure that all of the chairs are pushed against the dining table so Sadie cannot use them to climb onto the dining table. I responded that he should train HIS dog (have you ever say that? YOUR child, or YOUR grandchild?) to not go onto the table. Sadie hasn't done that before! This tiny little cart makes cotton candy figures and one of them of course totally captured my attention...Cony! It has all the features and I was that close to get one but I had other plans and decided to pass. Fortunately there was a sweet dad getting his daughter a piggy and omg super super cute! Just seeing that expression on her face was just priceless and a few others gathering around watching with such love seeing this sweet child feeling like the luckiest kid was amazing. This does take me back to Harajuku with the giant rainbow cotton candy and the fun it brings. I do make an effort for some me time and fun experiences as taking that time to make your soul happy can be as simple and something sweet. Thank you!
