This was one of the strangest experiences I've ever had. I asked for a full body massage and it took a long time for her to come back in the room after I was on the table. Once she came in, she would start and stop massaging periodically and leave the room. I'm pretty sure the door was left open during those times. She also answered the phone during my massage scheduling someone else to come in. About 20 minutes in, she tapped me on the shoulder and said she was busy and they were going to have someone else come in. When she left the room, she definitely left the door partially open because I looked. I'm lying there with the the blanket pull down my back my back and the door is open. Once the massage started with the second person it was an OK massage. When I went to pay, I handed him cash and he asked how much I was tipping. Typically they give you your change and then back and then you tip but that was not the case. The was absolutely expected. I go to foot massage places often and this is definitely the strangest experience I've ever had and I will not be going back here. read more

An incredible massage!!! I have traveled the world over and am guessing have had over 300 massages. Jenny rates as one of the top masseuses in my life. Pressure was not too strong or too light. She knew what muscles carry the most tension and smoothed them out. I could feel the energy meridians in my body opening up. I felt like I had a mini facial with a cream that was different than what she used on the rest of my body having the faint smell of eggnog, that was perfect for the month of November. She surprised me with a few hot stones and stretches that I really appreciated. I walked out feeling like a totally new woman!!! Before leaving I purchased 2 gift certificates to give to 2 deserving men that do physical work 5 days a week. I will for sure be coming back to Jade and asking for Jenny. My wife and I had a nice experience here this evening. We came in and I got the special, $50 for 1/2 hr foot & 1/2 hr body massage and she got the 1 hr foot massage. We were treated well and got immediate service. We both thought that the place was nice and clean. The foot massages were enjoyable. The girl was a little rough on the back massage, but it wasn't bad. This was my third time here over the years and I would be comfortable coming back. Jade is good in a pinch. When you can't get into Massage Envy, it will do, but it's hit or miss and maybe there needs to be an English Lesson or two for the people there are kind but stay with Chinese language. I do NOT appreciate them talking in Chinese when I am there to relax. It's very cheap, so anyone can afford a massage and they work very very hard! I have been to the Jade Massage many times. In fact, I am a regular customer. The service is always great and the staff is always very courteous, kind, and respectful. And the services are spectacular! Though their English is limited, I have never had a problem communicating with them in any way. I must say that it is shocking to read some of the negative comments from people who apparently were not happy with the services provided by Jade Massage. I can only say that I have never witnessed anybody having problems or dissatisfaction with the services or any member of the staff. In fact, I am inclined to doubt the validity of their tainted claims as an attempt to assassinate the good reputation of Jade Massage and to damage their business. This kind of hostile reporting usually comes from one or more competitors who want to rob another competitor of their business. And I suspect that these negative reports are all fake news. In light of my ongoing great experiences at Jade Massage, I highly recommend that you visit the facility and enjoy the professional massage services. My husband and I were looking for a massage place that accepted walk-ins. We originally went to BoBo Spa in Woodinville (which I've been to before and had great service!), but they had an hour long wait time. Rather than waiting around, we decided to check out Jade Massage instead. Both mine and my husband's experience at Jade Massage was awkward to say the least. The lady's seemed nice at first, but didn't speak hardly any English. Communication was a struggle to say the least. The massages that each of us received were less than stellar compared to other massage places I've been to before, and we did not receive the full 60 minutes that we paid for. I am also currently 35 weeks pregnant, and it was apparent that they were not too knowledgeable in how to handle that... She kept trying to get me to lay on my back and it was super uncomfortable. The absolute worst part of the experience though, was when it came time to pay for everything at the end. My husband was writing out the total and tip up at the front, and because neither of us received the best service (and we were pretty low on funds but didn't want to not leave a tip at all cause that'd be rude) he left a $5 tip initially. MAGICALLY one of the ladies knew how to speak English and said "Only $5? That's it?!" So my husband and I looked at one another and I told him to just write a "1" in front of the 5 and make it a $15 tip instead just so we could get out of there... Then the same lady says "Or you could just write $20 and that'd be fine" ..... -__- Needless to say we will not be returning nor will we be recommending this place to anyone. Save yourself the time and money and go to BoBo Spa down the street instead or even the Massage Envy in town if you're able to schedule an appointment in advance. read more

Was in the area and tried to get a 60 min $ 30 foot massage. The lady tried to upsell me the $50 massage and scowled at me when I said no that I wanted the $30 foot massage. Then she angrily motioned for me to come back and kicked the automan out of the way. I turned to walk out and another lady tried to stop me. Told her that I was not interested any more. Great foot massage! The foot massage includes arms, back, shoulder, hands, neck, and head. Really relaxing and helps my headaches. The room is no frills, and the foot massage happens in a big room with other foot massage tables in it, so potentially you will be getting a massage at the same time as others, but it really doesn't matter IMO. It's still very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I highly recommend the foot massage. It is so great to be able to walk in without a reservation, too. Also very affordable. I found it much more relaxing than a pedicure bc of the atmosphere and other massage inclusions (neck, arms, back). I do not think you'll be disappointed! read more

I paid for an hour massage but I only received a 45 minute massage, it was not that great, but I wanted to tip 5 dollars just because I wanted to be nice, but the lady told me I needed to pay 20% that is 12 dollars. Nice environment (right amount of lighting and open space). Average to light-touch foot massage. They demand larger than deserved tips and sometimes switch masseuses (from woman to man) mid massage. I was a regular customer but the last few times I've been there I felt like they extorted a higher tip than was deserved. For example, a 30 min foot massage is $20. I gave the cashier two twenty dollar bills and asked for change. She only brought back a $10. I said I wanted to tip $5 and she said no, it is $10. I said that is a %50 tip and she just shook her head. I certainly would leave a tip that large if I felt the service was outstanding. I'm not about to argue over $5 but that kind of thing is guaranteed to lose me as a customer. read more

It was my birthday last month and as a belated birthday present, my Aunt decided to take me to Jade Massages due to my love of massage therapy which started when I was a kid growing up in my country. Jade is the best spa in Woodinville and probably the best outside of Bellevue. I had my second 90 minute session and like the first, it was excellent, even though it was done by a different person. They clearly understood the directions given and found the knots in my shoulders and back without me even having to tell them. I saw a prior review about them speaking Chinese. Well, that is their native language, so get over it. Since I do speak basic Mandarin, it heightened the physical experience into a cultural one. I plan to come back every two weeks. read more

I have been coming to Jade since they opened, for a few years now. It is true that they are English challenged, however, Jenny, the owner, is always a phone call away, if not onsite, and speaks English well. Also, their phones have interpreters apps on them. I see Tim or Jenny for my massage, as they are great at deep tissue. They know my troubled spots and customize the massage to fit my needs. Recently I moved from Woodinville to Marysville. I still drive the 1 hour every other weekend to Jade, and would not go anywhere else. Not only do they take good care of me, but they are also great people with a kind heart. Never going again! My shoulder muscles really hurt. It was a 30 mints body massage,the women who did massage couldn't understand English , after I told her to reduce pressure she added more pressure. My skin had bruises and pain will take weeks to heal. And the massage pressure was not symmetrical, my right side was worked more than the left side of the body. read more
