I came back for another session with Tao on 7/12, after seeing him on 7/5, and both experiences were just as great. I went in the morning on both visits, and there was no wait since Tao was available. What made my most recent visit even better was how peaceful the spa was--there were only two clients, including me. The temperature inside was noticeably cooler than during my previous appointments, and the massage spot in the middle seems to have the best air circulation, making it much more comfortable. I hope Nina (the manager) or the staff who sees me there weekly will remember to put me in that section if available. Between the cool, relaxing environment and Tao's consistently perfect pressure, I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep for a while--which, to me, is the best compliment a massage therapist can receive. I had an appointment scheduled for 10:30, and I arrived on time. However, when I got here, I was told that I would have to wait at least another 15 minutes. I made this appointment well in advance, so I don't understand why you would schedule an appointment for a customer if your massage therapist isn't available at the agreed time. I was so happy to discover the Relaxing Station! Super clean and friendly. I got the 40 minute foot reflexology massage from Lina and she was awesome! She had a strong press borderline painful getting out all the knots just the way I like. Hubby had Tao, he seemed a bit more gentle but firm which was perfect for him. Really good pricing. They only take walk-in, but you simply sign in at the front desk and write down what type of massage you want, how long, and even what strength and speed you're looking for. The place filled up on a sunday afternoon and I had to wait 10 min before my turn but it's worth the wait. I opted for the 60 min combination of 30min feet and 30 min body ($45 pre tip). Started with the feet in the large chairs and that loosened me up nicely before moving to the beds and getting my back, thighs, and arms done. Overall very good experience for the price! read more

So I went to this massage place as I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant and really wanted that foot reflexology but instead received a rub on my feet. Even after asking to go deeper the lady continued to do the same knuckle rubbing up and down. Left crying as there was no difference between their massage and my husband's massage, but I did have to pay. the vibe was okay although the rest of the employees are kinda staring as they wait for clients which made it a bit awkward. read more

I love this place! I have had many massages over many years, costing much more money, with varying results. Although the staff here can vary in skill level, I have never left feeling disappointed. In fact, most of the time I am delighted with the service. Special kudos to Lee and to Nina. I like that I get a full hour treatment rather than 50 minutes, and that I don't have to undress and then feel sticky afterwards because of massage oil or lotion. I get to choose the intensity level and speed of the service. And I particularly enjoy the uniform structure of the massage. I like to go just before I have Chiropractic treatment because the adjustments are so much easier. Maybe best of all, I can go anytime, when I am most in need of a massage. A really great massage! I did 60 minutes and the pressure and speed were perfect like 95% of the time. This is a place where you a massaged in a large room. You stay face down and they put a sheet over you. You leave your clothes on, so I'd recommend loose, lightweight clothing for the best experience. The room was fairly quiet but if noises bother you, you mind want to bring some ear plugs. The staff don't speak much English, so use a translation app on your phone and set it to Chinese. They give you a bottle of water as well. There is a $2 fee for using a credit card, but the prices are so good for what you get I had no issue paying it. Will definitely be back. read more

I went back for another try to see if the situation had improved from my last visit. Once again another 60 minutes of heaven. It starts by having a foot massage in ambiance is a slightly darkened room, soft music, plush chair and a relaxing video playing in the background. The start of the foot massage is with a hot water soak, then onto the foot rub which is fantastic. The massage focuses a lot on the arches and toes. I have been having a lot of heel pain and this massage works wonders for me. This time the massues that was obviously I'll was not there and everyone around me seemed to be enjoying their time there. However they wanted us to lay down in the middle of the room with all of her clothes on. The tables are all set together with a type of fence around each area. Somehow that got lost in translation that this was a fully clothed massage for $45. Even after reading the reviews on here. So I just had to come on and say it's a wonderful business however if you're looking for an oil massage you will not find it at this location. I have been going there for a while and there are some services I avoid. For example laying face down on the massage table is so uncomfortable. My face hurts the whole time. Those tables are not comfortable. I tried the massage chair and is bit more tolerable if the chair is no lose or shaky. No one speaks English. Not even basic words. I don't know if they additionally pretend not to speak a word so you contend with what they offer instead of the back and forth. Highly questionable not to have at least one who speaks English. It does not matter what preference you specify when you sign in. For instance: intensity or speed. Makes no difference. I chose the highest intensity and the guy just does his thing however he likes. Of course, they don't speak English so don't bother to explain mid session. You are there to relax and not play the sign language game. I would still go there once in a while if I feel ok losing/gambling some money in return for a gamble of somewhat a reflexology or massage session. They are not consistent and clearly don't like their jobs. Just observe how they eye each others; you can smell dishonesty in the air. It sucks to give the, the pleasure to mock westerners like that. You get what you pay for. If you really want something more serious, I would not recommend this place. read more

It was a lovely foot massage and totally worth the price. $45 for a 60 minutes (wear pants you can pull up to about your knees if possible). You walk in, sign up for your desired experience and depending on capacity, you wait in the front area or you may be immediately seated in your station. As a larger bodied person, the seating for foot massage is comfortable and they do not have armrests. Green flag for body inclusivity. They gave me a warm towel to blanket myself with while i soaked my feet. Took me a moment to adjust to the open setting but oh man, I requested a 4 for intensity and i swear they broke through stress in my feet that I didn't even know that i was holding on to. I've been going here for a couple years now and it used to be great. I would go every couple weeks for a 60 minute full body massage. The last few times I've gone I've left disappointed for a number of reasons. I'll just make a list. 1. You walk in and your hit with a repulsive smell. Not sure if it's rotten food, a backed up sewer system, unclean. . . But it smells awful. 2. On the intake sheet of paper there is a place you can let them know what pressure you'd like. I have put #1 down all the way to # 7. It doesn't matter what you put they are going to do it really hard and use there elbows and repeatedly jab them into your bones and muscles. They are going to dig and dig until you are left feeling bruised. I had a "massage" yesterday and I woke up today so sore that I had my husband look for bruising. The man that did my massage kept telling me to relax and I kept telling him I can't because he was hurting me. I can't relax when he's jabbing his elbow into my back. This leads me into my next disappointment. 3. The language barrier. I repeatedly asked him to be more gentle, to do it softer and he would just repeat the word and shake his head and then continue painfully jabbing my back. Working with the public I believe there should be someone there that can help with the language barrier, to be able to talk to and meet the customers needs. I just continued the massage and kept telling myself it was almost over. I didn't want to just get up and walk out, so I finished and just won't be going back. 4. The loud talking between employees was also bothersome. I get massages to relax and unwind and when there are people talking very loudly and swapping who's giving me my massage and what not it's not super relaxing. Overall, you are getting what you paid for when you come here. Not very well trained people giving their idea of a massage. There is no reflexology involved. Just a lot of elbow pushing and finger jabbing that makes me tense up and defeat the whole purpose of a massage. read more

I enjoyed a 30 min foot massage where I was able to choose the pace and firmness. You start with a nice warm soak and lots of lotion and leave with clean and happy feet. Great value. Not many places will just do 20 minutes for a reasonable price, but that's what I prefer. I mostly just want my neck & shoulders worked on, so I just get a chair massage. I'd rather spend my $ to go more often than on one long massage where they work on muscles that I don't need worked on. Even though they don't speak much English, they're experts at the language of your muscles & bones. They have you circle the intensity & speed you want. I usually go with 4 & that's pretty intense for working out the knots. They offer bottled water after your massage (which is important to get the juices flowing after all that stress is relieved.) They are open late (10pm.) I just walk in & I've never had to wait too long. That area of Bothell is great, so you can pair a massage with dinner at Amaro nearby or any of the other fun restaurants. Parking is pretty easy to find around there too. I just went again on a Saturday night & parked in the next block. Oh & remember to bring cash if you can for a slight discount. read more

I've been to a lot of fancy massage places (I love massages!) like Gene Juarez, Yuan Spa, etc., and I always leave a bit disappointed in the quality of massage for the price (usually about $150). I came here and was seen immediately (I believe his name was Jason). There's a screen next to the check in to show you everyone working that day and they are available or with another client and how long they have left for that service . You fill out a little sheet with your name, what you what, length of service and speed/pressure. I chose "slow" and a pressure of 5. The massage was fantastic. You keep your clothes on and are in a mini room type of thing but with no walls. No one talks and there's nice music playing and a water fountain so I really didn't even notice that I wasn't in a private room. The full body massage was $39 (plus $1 for using a credit/debit card) plus tip. When I checked out, he gave me a sheet with a coupon for $5 off my next visit as well as a water bottle. I have been here twice so far and plan to go back! If you're familiar with reflexology massage places, you'll enjoy this experience. The ambiance is better than many places I've been and they had a good amount of staff working both times I was there. There isn't a lot of verbal communication, but they do have a form for you to fill out when you arrive where you can indicate desired speed and strength. I do think there is quite a bit of variety in how each masseuse defines the numbers, though. The first massage I got was full body and I marked 1-2 in strength (out of 7) because I had a bad experience *at a different place* and didn't want to get bruised again haha. But I had to ask him a couple of times to go softer because he was really digging in. I don't recall his name, but it started with Wa. This isn't to get him in trouble because he did a good job, it was just too strong for my liking. He did understand and was careful of my knee when I told him it was injured. He'd probably be a great option if you like deep tissue! The second time I went I just did a foot massage and marked a 2. I ended up telling the gentleman, Chen, that he can do it a little harder. He smiled and held up a 3 (as to say next time ask for a 3). He did a great job and that level was just right to be effective but enjoyable. So it may take a little trial and error to find your favorite masseuse and strength level, but all it all, it's a great deal that will allow you to get the benefits of massage without the hefty price tag! read more
