The girl who did my nails was nice but I honestly hate them. I told her I wanted coffin shaped literally like 20 times and they're still not. I felt bad after telling her so many times that I just stopped. Also the color has a texture to it, like cement, and I asked before she started if it was going to be like that and she assured me it wasn't. My nails are also bubbly and uneven and just awful. She recommended next gen but that was a clearly a mistake. I've never been this disappointed with my nails before Update !! Thank you so much for fixing my nails Jade! they look so good now

Listen, I really enjoy this salon. But I got to leave this "not so nice" review simply for this reason. I come in to get my eye brows and lip waxed. Overall, the wax lady was very nice but she burned me. People make mistakes but I dont pay money to get burned I'll just do it at home! But this nail salon is the spot for nails! Love jade nail spa! My go to is jade the owner! She's been microblading my brows for 2-3 years now! She has done my lashes before to! So beautiful! Jade is the best at doing nails she really is creative with creating her own mix of dip powder to satisfy your every need and want! Anybody can thread at the salon but i prefer jade! Roy is also is new member to the shop for a while now, he is also very good at nails for designs and give great ideas for nail designs. He's very quick and professional!

I really wanted to like this place because of all the wonderful reviews. I went 30 minutes out of my way because of the reviews and they had Nexgen. However, I would not recommend this place. The staff are super nice, but getting cuts is not. My mother got a mani/pedi and the lady that she had ended up cutting her big toe (as we all know getting a cut here is really painful and takes awhile to heal). They were nice enough to give her a $5 discount, but honestly if the service is bad it should have been complimentary. She didn't get color or anything, just wanted to get her feet cleaned. She had told the lady the first time when it hurt, but I guess the lady ignored it and continued to pick at that spot which caused her to bleed. (FYI, it's the next day and it still hurts her to walk on that feet). I went in and got a manicure using Nexgen. The lady was really nice and helped me pick out a color. However, when she was cutting my cuticles, she cut too much skin on one finger. Though it didn't bleed during that time, I certainly felt it especially with the oils. I didn't say anything at that time because I already made a big deal about about my mom getting a cut, and mine seemed minor compared to hers, but nevertheless, it's definitely not something you want to get when you go in for a manicure or pedicure. Overall, the staff is nice and polite, so if you don't mind the occasional cuts, you might like it. I however prefer to be cut free.

Michelle did my nails and they were exactly what I wanted! The staff was amazing, super friendly from the moment I walked in. I had an appointment at 2 and was immediately helped. The pedicures use a liner in the tub and they open a new pack of tools for every customer which is great being a germ freak. Overall great experience, I will definitely be back

My experience with this nail salon was great. To start off I was a walk in and they attended me right away. They have various colors and they are up to date with all the types of nails you might want to get. For example nail dipping, gel, acrylic, and designs. Everyone that worked there were pleasant. Fast friendly service. Reps make great suggestions if you're indecisive. That's a plus. But this place needs better ventilation the chemical odor will have your eyes burning. I almost ask for a mask too. But other than that no issues

My experience was pretty positive, jade is very friendly and makes conversation which is nice because I went to my last nail place for months and never spoke a word to my technician except for what I wanted. I got Next Gen Nails I think it's called and they came out very nice but they took 2 hours which may be standard but when I used to get normal acrylic it only took about 45 minutes. Besides the length I'm very happy and will be coming back.

This past June I was leaving on a beach vacation and wanted a color that would pop. Most importantly, I wanted to not worry about a mani or pedi so I opted for gel nail polish. Two days into my trip, my nail polish chipped on multiple fingers. I was upset that I had done gel to avoid this issue and it made no difference. After staying away from this salon for almost six months, I returned before a winter trip. Once again, after three days the nail polish looked awful and I realized I had overpaid for polish that is either old or not actual gel. I attempted to reach out in hopes that she'd help, but she ignored my written concern. She took no responsibility and never acknowledged the poor quality or workmanship. I was tolerant the first time; now, I won't return ever. I say buy nail polish over the counter and save yourself the $60+ dollars. You'll get the same result if you're only interested in having nice nails for two-three days. There are too many honest businesses needing customers. These scenarios are unacceptable.

I really wanted to like this place...but it was by far the worst place I've ever had my nails done. I went YESTERDAY...I was convinced to do a new type of gel...it was nicer, would last longer, etc I paid double what I would pay elsewhere and TODAY while on vacation my nails are already chipping...they didn't even last 24 hours!!!! Not to mention that I had my nails done with 1 tech...she was rushed and therefore left my nails sticky...the owner had to fix and obviously that didn't help either...I had a 2nd person do my pedicure and it was not relaxing at all...she cut my nails horribly even though I told her not to. Then the polish was all streaked...I can't even go get them fixed because I'm on vacation...so I'll have to have horrible looking nails until I return UPDATE: less than a week in and my nails are all peeling off! I've been offered a free polish but no thanks...I'll be disputing the charge on my credit card. You would think the expensive prices would match the quality of work. Really sad because owner seems very nice.

First of all, this place is expensive (58$) and it's not a very nice salon. The lady doing my pedicure made both my big toes bleed. Especially the right toe nail. It didn't stop bleeding for a while. The nail polish work was pretty bad. My manicure was ok but could definitely need work on the nail polishing application. After I was done, the gentleman ask about my experience and I told him that the lady made both my toes bleed and he responded with a simply "oh" and processed to charge me $58. After that not so pleasant experience, I still tipped both ladies. Definitely not returning to this place.

Had a mani and pedi done here yesterday. Everyone was nice (hence the two stars), but it just wasn't up to my standards. Sloppy cuticles and painting are my pet peeves. If you don't push back the cuticles properly, it's over. In this case, the painting was also sloppy. I had to ask to have the side of one nail painted. I also paid $10 extra for some polka dots which also weren't done well. Two of them smeared. $46 down the drain. I'm pretty sure this mani won't last. I will have them done over when I get to Disney.

I had to update my review for several reasons. I continued going to the salon for about 3 months after, every time I would schedule an appointment with Jade the amazing nail specialist that had changed my life and every single time I showed up I was sat with someone different. Last time I went in the nail tech ( who I won't mention to avoid the direct impact it could have as it does not appear that Mrs. Jade plays any games, messed up my shellac by messing up the order of the base and top coat cause they were recovering from a drunken night the day before. The inconsistencies do not allow me to leave the 5 star review. It might not have a lot of reviews BUT believe me the 5 star rating doesn't even do it justice. When I first walked in I second guessed my decision to choose this spot after solely looking at yelp reviews... But WOW. I am a customer service trainer and this is exactly the kind of spot I would model a training after.... The sweet young lady who completed my manicure had to be the sweetest most beautiful manicurist I've ever met. I walked in with the idea of getting my regular manicure and left with a brand new and amazing looking gel manicure compliments of Jade herself. In all this little spot in the heart of west Kendall... Is perfection... A must check out! Really looking forward to trying out they're nail art! read more

Have been going to Jade Nails for a few years now, and I have NEVER left unhappy. Terisa is amazing and very creative. Her manicures are well done, and its amazing how she threads brows into beautiful works of art. There is no other place for me in this area. Love the family friendly atmosphere, large choice of polish colors, and variety of services. The shop is very centrally located in Kendall making it easy to get to. Terisa is my go to girl for mani and eyebrows, but everyone in there is super friendly and very good. read more

They are the best! my gels lasted for over 2 weeks IN PERFECT condition! Never had such a great experience with gel nails before. These will not break or chip. They look VERY natural because they time to make you are happy with their work! Over all, they do an amazing job! Very happy. Make sure to book with time because they are BUSY! My third appointment is in 2 weeks. read more

Came here for the first time about a week ago because I wanted to find a nail place closer to my house and will definitely be back again. I walked in without an appointment but was taken care of right away; I didn't even wait a minute before being seated. Everyone was extremely nice and talked to me as if I had been doing my nails there for years. I felt extremely comfortable and had an exceptional time with Marilyn who treated me as a mother would. She was concerned about my comfort level and making sure she did everything to my liking not to mention she was hysterical and cracked me up everytime she spoke. She even gave me a hug at the end of our appointment which was extremely inviting (she is definitely my new go-to nail lady). I do acrylic and gel nails and she really knew what she was doing (my nails still look as new as the day I did them!) Definitely recommend this place! read more

Been here before and they do a good job. The last the lady did OKAY, she left clear paint on my skin (not a big deal). The color selection was not good. And the poor woman was sick as a dog, she should have been sent home. (I'm not being mean). A man came in selling movies, obviously he's a regular. Won't return, just didn't care for the vibe. So 3 stars, if I get sick in the next 72hrs I will edit by taking 2 stars away. read more

My girl and I decided to try Jade Nails since she was referred by a friend a while back. Little did I know it was going to be one of the worst nail experiences of my life. First, the lady doing my nails couldn't scrub my feet properly. AT ALL. As for my nails, I asked her to cut down my cuticles and she refused, saying she doesn't do it because it's bad for the cuticles. When I told her it was fine, that that's what I wanted, she still refused to do it. Her massage was so bad, a coworker had to show her what to do. Then when she got to my hands, that's when I lost it. She stood up and said I'm going to do your hands here. She literally stood in front of the pedicure chair and started doing my nails. When she needed a tool, she borrowed it from her coworker, who was doing another lady's feet, and INSTEAD of disinfecting the tool, she scraped it down with a nail file and tried to use it on me (keep in mind this is during the COVID epidemic). That's when I excused myself, told her I had an emergency, and left. In all honesty, my girl paid for the pedicure for nothing. Never coming here again. read more

This was my first time at Jade Nails. When I walked in, I was immediately seen. They have a lot of people who make appointments, so I think the fact that I came early was the reason I got seated immediately. They did an excellent job on my gel manicure, with great attention to detail. Everything was clean, and the tools were all sanitized. It made me comfortable to be there. This is my third time going to Jade nails and I usually leave very happy with my nails. My regular lady takes her time and makes sure she does a good job but not this time when I went with another lady. She was in a rush to leaveI was the last appointment but still I'm a paying customer. I absolutely hate my nails this time. She filed them so low, I've been growing them out for two months and was finally happy with them, she made them super square (which I didn't want), nicked me,and left me dirty. The color I chose also looked more pink than orange but outside, it's orange. I went to leave a message on the machine but it's full. I'd like to be contacted about my visit and receive a refund or a better manicure. I am very dissatisfied. Update: I called the number below and was offered 50% off of my next visit. After thinking about it, I won't be taking the offer and I'll be going somewhere else for my next manicure. read more

pros: friendly staff, welcoming environment, good location and service overall i went here twice-- the first time i was seen by roy. he was friendly and did a good job on my nails. why i gave three stars: i went back as last minute appt i was attended to rather quickly to soak off my existing nails and attended by esther. she was friendly and made conversation. i know people have spoken highly of her so i was looking forward to it! she stated that someone from herbalife was going to visit. about 15 min into my appt, the rep comes in and they are discussing products, trying samples, etc. esther seemed distracted and left multiple times during my appointment. at first it didn't bother me, but eventually it took TWO AND A HALF HOURS for a nexgen mani. for something that has never taken me more than an hour, i feel like my time wasn't properly respected. overall it's a bit more expensive than others and given my last experience i'm not rushing to go back. read more

For a $58 gel manicure & pedicure I would expect top quality results. This place is a rip off & super unprofessional. None of the utensils used on me were properly sanitized as I saw the young lady just simply wipe her tools on a towel before using them on me. On top of that my manicure barley lasted 24 hours before chipping. $58 down the drain read more

This has become my go to spot for everything! Jade did my gelish refill, eyebrow threading, and eyebrow tinting. She is phenomenal! They do take walk-ins but I highly recommend calling ahead and making an appointment especially if you want to Jade. Keep in mind what they lack in appearance they make up for in customer service. read more

Jade never fails to disappoint. I always get so many compliments on my nails. She truly devotes herself every time she does my nails and that's the type of attitude that keeps me going back to her. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my nails and ever since I've been going to Jade, I've never had to ask her to fix anything because she always double and triple checks my nails for any imperfection before I leave. I recommend 15/10. read more

I am about the pickiest person there is when it comes to my nails and eyebrows. I've been looking for a new manicurist for about 5 years now since my girl changed jobs all together. I've been to countless salons only to be disappointed every time. I like my cuticles thoroughly removed "and I mean thoroughly" but I don't like pain. My nails need to be filed straight and my polish needs to be cleaned properly off my fingers I shouldn't have to go home and fix these thing I never used to. But for years I've been going home and cleaning em up right after a mani pedi. Well I found "THE PLACE" finally after countless unhappy experiences at other salons. Jade Nails on 137 Ave and 112 St. does the best nails in Kendall hands down! I am so happy I finally found a place that gets it right the first time. I had 3 different girls work on me the same day. Sounds different, yes, was I weary, yes but they were all extraordinary! Tamara did my gels nails while I was having my pedicure done by Milvia. Which was last Wednesday and they still look perfect! Therisa the owner did my brows and made them look great again I've had people mess them up a lot and I can go out in public again without having to put makeup on them. I can't say enough about this place. Therisa does nail art and she truly is an artist. I had my six year old with me and Milvia did her polish and Therisa did a Miami Heat ball on her ring finger and it looks awesome and her fingers are tiny so she didn't have much to work with. Lol I am so happy I found this place! I'm never leaving! If you are as picky as me. Then this is the place for you. Very friendly and attentive and meticulous work. read more

Theresa and her entire staff are absolutely AMAZING. I have recommended friends and family members and no one ever leaves disappointed. My nails always look flawless and they are intact for weeks. They always accommodate me if I need to change my appointment or if I need to reschedule. I went to Jade Nails for the first time today based on their yelp reviews and I can understand why they have such awesome reviews. Jessica did my feet and I was able to have Jade do my nails. I am in love. After trying to find a good spot (due to me being so picky and my previous place changing ownership many times) I've finally found my go to. Prices are a little higher than usual places but well worth it. Plus, they offer $5 off if you refer someone which is not something I've heard other places do. Jade has two new loyal customers! read more

I got charged 80 dollars for a refill acrylic with gel on top and a pedicure. The lady who did my nails was really nice but she did 3 of the nails too low which made it look like I still needed a refill when she was done and each nail was a different shape and thickness. My pedicure was ok but overall , the prices are ridiculous and the work sucks. Waste of money just a good location. read more

I'm not happy with the service here. They pushed the next gen nails on me even though I repeatedly said I only prefer gel. They were giving me looks until I finally gave in. I did not like the next gen and when I went back home to LA I made sure to have my regular manicurist fix it. She even explained that it was acrylic. Honestly i give this nail salon a 5 start rating.No doubt because ive been going here for a couple of years and jade is the best!! She does great nail designs.I mean shes a nail godess in general because she is very talented.All of her workers are great at what they are doing.And i know they some make a couple of mistakes sometimes but i still go to get my service there because of the community and oh how they are so nice and welcoming.Plus they do eyelashes,waxing,great nail art ,etc.If they ever moved to another state i would follow them there because i dont know if i would want another nail salon besides Jade nails and spa.So yeah if you are looking for a place that gives great service this would be the place :) read more

I looked in yelp for a great place to get my nails done and saw many good reviews about this place. I made an appt with the owner Jade thinking she would be the best. I showed her a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like (left) and she recommended to get NexGen and adding tips (at a additional cost) I said okay. So I kind of wanted stiletto shape and she said that's additional cost. I said fine. We proceed with my nails and the process of dipping them in powder. Throughout this time, she was extremely rude to other employees as well as customers. She was telling another employee " why is she taking so long with that customer" she got up several times to eat answer her phone and continue to be disrespectful to other employees. When my nails were done is looked nothing like the picture. I asked her to make the base a little bit darker and she got upset saying all my work for nothing. She had to paint my nails with a darker base and do a French manicure which she added another cost. I left very disappointed with this place and I will never come back. I do not recommend this nail salon to anyone. I ended up paying $70 for something I am not happy with. read more

LOVE this place. I have been getting my nails done here for a while and I must say I am never disappointed. Teresa (the owner) is a master at designing your nails. I tend to always give her a challenge that she's always up for. I've recommended this place to all my friends and family. I also have to add that all the personnel is great, each with their own talent. I have veered elsewhere at times of need, but you will definitely notice the difference. I WON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE. One of the nails on my left hand was applied in a way that touched the skin on the side, which caused it to lift off the very next day. I had to return to have it fixed, but I was not happy with the repair; as the fixed nail looks noticeably darker than the rest. After that, other nails also began chipping which was frustrating. I was also not impressed with the cleanliness compared to my usual manicure and pedicure salon. For example, a plastic liner was not automatically used in the pedicure tub; I had to request it. I also noticed that nail files appeared to be reused, which made me uncomfortable. Overall, the experience felt like more hassle than it was worth. Due to the quality issues and cleanliness concerns, I don't plan on returning.

She told me if I wanted them all redone I should have said so. Said I was very rude when she tried to speak over me and I would not let her. Want to give my experience I went to Jade nails as a walk in On Saturday Feb 24th 2018 @1:30 pm I was greeted by the front desk staff and Jade . I showed a picture of how I wanted my nails I was immediately told about this new product that's good for your nails which is NexGen. I first wanted to say I myself should have inquired about the price prior too the service . I went with the positive reviews from yelp so I wasn't too concern about the price then . I was told to sit down I was literally waiting just seconds . I was told to go to the back and have a young lady work on just my cuticles she was very nervous it seemed and frustrated because the amount of her Appointments that were being moved around .It seemed as though Jade was trying to get every single customer in with and without an appointment . In this process I was cut on my left hand middle finger . I was bleeding a lot right during this time she applied a green liquid product on the nail that prevents infections. I was still bleeding although this product was applied .Jade advised to the lady that they sat me with Her in error as I'm switching my seat to the correct person .Esther starts to pull a ticket to write my name on it to bill me I assume afterwards . While the young lady was telling Esther she did only 3 of my fingers the lady that cut me was still trying to write a ticket to charge me after she cut me for 3 fingers that she only did. Jade had to explain to her that it was a customer error in which she then was corrected by Esther that it was a staff error since Jade was the one who told me where to go . Friday March 2 the same finger I was cut on the tip was not clued on correctly by Esther this nail is started to lift water is getting under there and I don't want to get fungus on this nail. Back to the day I was getting my nails done in my opinion Esther needs more training on how to do nails my nails wasn't filed correctly the holographic color was not put on correctly however I gave her credit for trying I'm a fair person . However if I'm going to pay $60 plus a $35 tip my nails have to be perfection meaning tips placed on correctly filing nails to perfection at least the color to perfection . Esther shouldnt be texting or checking her phone while doing my nails or anyone else's nails . Also she had on nails herself so it made it difficult for her to file my nails correct and smoothly to even grip my hand was difficult for her. My nails haven't grow out yet to get a refill this finger I was cut on the nail is lifting and in the process of maybe breaking soon . The holographic color should have been more like a faded out look towards the tips of my nails kinda like tye dye if that makes sense . It shouldn't look like I got a French manicure . The based coat was sort of gripping and runny so u can see that on the nails . The polish wasn't smooth at all. I say this to say we are all humans I think if they focus more on the customers do more trainings on each other and not use the customer as trial and error . people are paying their hard earn money to get excellent service nothing less than that . Esther should work on her people skills she did not make any eye contact or conversation with me like how Jade was interacting with the entire nail shop . I don't want to get my nails done or spend my money and not feel like I'm not wanted there . You can't make anyone a people person either . If I were to give this place a second shot I would only allow the boss herself Jade to do my nails to see what she could do differently according to her reviews she excellent .So if I were to leave out of her place my nails would be done to perfection with none of the issues I had prior too . If not Jade herself her best nail tech that does excellent work. I feel this place has potential I travel a good ways to get to this shop based on positive reviews . On the NexGen the process doesn't seem sanitary dipping your whole finger in the same powder everyone uses verses using gel / acrylic where a brush is being used and the dipping in and out of the product is only being place on the nail . Maybe I should buy my own powder if I want to keep this NexGen process up. read more

First of all, in 1 of the review says that I just took over this business which is not true. I've been at this location for almost 13 yrs. Never have I changed ownership since I took over. 2nd of all, the other says that I do pedicure & I was rude which are not true. This is the 1st, especially from a client. Those who knows me well would never say that because I care very much about customer service. I've been coming to this place 10 years ago and so far this is the best place to have a "me" time!!!!! A place were they treat you with respect, care, dedication. Were the staff will make sure you live happy with the service provided and feeling like a . Make sure to try the "Organic pedicure" it is amazingly relaxing and great products leving your feet like baby's!!!!!! Usually I'll only let Tereza do my gel nails !!!! But She have a new lady called Lidia, and she is great !!!! she is funny, efficient, kind, and always eager to make sure you are pleased with the service. I've been there once before and they were good to me but not this go round. The owner did my nails and she is absolutely horrible. She scratched off the top layer of my finger nails when I only wanted a polish, and when I told her about it, she denied it at threw some oil over it. She also cheated me on pedicure because she didn't feel like scrubbing my feet, she gave me cold water when I asked for hot water, she made my sister's eyebrows uneven, she's unbelievably rude, and to add insult to injury, her breath smelled to high hell! All she did was yell at her employees and pass out water to the customers. If you go there and see her coming towards you, RUN!!! They used to be very good, but ever since she took over, she its ruining the place. I have really nice nails, but after she scraped off the first layer of them, I'm very scared to see what happens to them. Actually i'm terrified. read more

Honestly, I can say that I look forward to coming here every 2 weeks. Everyone is so nice and they make you feel comfortable. Teresa has been doing my nails for months now and I've never been disappointed in what she creates, she's truly an artist. There's also a great color selection, and she has those cool color changing gel colors (which by the way are the bomb dot com). Oh and how could I forget the pedicures! I walked in and didn't have to wait, I was seated immediately. My Appt was with Therisa (the owner) SUPER friendly and funny. The best nail salon hands down!! I was referred to Theresa by my friend about three years ago. I have to say I loved it from day one!! Everyone is very friendly and nice. They give the best attention I have ever received in a nail salon! I always get my pedicure done with Tamara and I love her she is amazing! Theresa is the best! She always does my nails great! I do gel nail polish and it last a good 2-3 weeks. I am always taken on time for my appointments. In other words I love Jade Nails. I recommend this nail salon to every one! :) read more

This is the best place for nails in Miami..excellent customer service, amazing nails and design, i was so desperate to find a nail salon like this. They have so many options and colors, Teresa is a master in creating designs and she gives options too if you are undecided!!! I went to this place as a walk in customer and immediately set up an appointment for me. If you want beautiful nails, you need to come to Jades. She is not only a terrific nail Technician, she is also, sweet and caring about her customers. Her and her staff are extremely accommodating. They do all they can to make their customers happy. Even if it means staying longer nights or earlier mornings. You wont find that in too many places. Small Place but great Quality and heart. I've been looking for a good nail salon near my house and I was yet to find one so I've been stuck traveling far every time I needed my nails done! I'm happy to say that I finally found my spot! Christina did an amazing job at my nails. It was exactly what I was looking for! Everyone was also super friendly, they even gave me cake and pastelitos because it was the owners daughters birthday which I thought was very nice of them. :) I'll be coming back here from now on. read more

a friend of mine recommended to go see jade and it was the best decision i made. when i went to see her, i had all my acrylics lifting from the previous refill i had from another nail salon along with fungus growing. jade removed everything and re did my nails and at a reasonable price as well. she took her time and i have to say, they are the best set of nails i've ever had. i highly recommend going to see her, you can tell she's very passionate for her work. read more

This was a recommendation from a coworker and everything that was told to me was 100% spot on. The service from the moment I walked in was impeccable. I am very particular about my nails and I am not easy to be pleased. Theresa, the owner of the salon knows how to do it. Her work is very clean and perfect. It wasn't a single time when I left her salon not happy. Her job is always outstanding. She always acommodate you, even if she is very busy. She is always nice and patient. I got my nails done by Milady and she did an amazing job. I didn't get an appointment but even that they attended me very well. I had been looking for Miami nail salons bc I wanted one that could give me my dream nails and they did. I also went with my mom, my sister and my aunt without having an appointment and we all had a very nice service with a very good treatment. I 100% recommend going there. read more

Great place for all your needs! Nails, lashes, micro-blading etc. Staff is great. Jade is a sweet heart and truly takes her time in all her work. I have been going to same nail salon for 10+ years for "connivence" .. decided to try out Jade Nails & Spa and I am very much satisfied! This is such a great secret spot in Kendall! This is my third time coming here and they always provide a great service. My gel color lasts me more than it used to in the past. They also offer other services for brows and eyelashes which is super convenient. I wish I would've found jade nails much earlier it would've saved me so many issues the other places have given me. read more
