A wonderful experience from Caitlin on my first experience with acupuncture. Caitlin took the time to complete a through medical / health intake at the start of the session and then explained in detail what she was doing and why she was doing it. The process of the acupuncture needles to my surprise did not have any pain- I could barely feel the needles. Following the needles being in the back from about 20 minutes, Caitlin explained the benefits of cupping and what to expect during the treatment and after. The cupping treatment was uncomfortable at first but then moved to a relaxing state. Caitlin was not high pressure on trying to get return visits- but did explain the benefit in doing so. She was very personable, welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend seeing Caitlin if you have never experienced acupuncture before or if you are looking for a provider who will give you dedicated time and who shows they care about your health. read more

I have recommended this place to so many people, but sadly their weird management team has run off the best people and I now recommend Sage Med instead. To save money, Jade Spring got rid of their higher paid staff. They got rid of the very best masseuse who was loyal to them for about a decade. After she left, I started seeing a different gal who was okay but not nearly as great as Ivy. She also shorted me time which was unprofessional sign #1. I was dressed and in my car 4 minutes before my massage was supposed to be finished. I asked her about it and she confirmed it was supposed to be the full hour and did give me a full hour for my next treatment. In order to use my benefits before they expired, I made weekly appts at 6:45am. I was rightfully charged $80 for missing an appt while I was still getting used to that appt time; Anyhow, I paid the fee, plus I gave the masseuse $20 for her missed tip. That's a reflection of who I am. Last week, I got a vague text with no explanation at 5:30 am telling me they were canceling my 6:45am appt. I asked when we could make it up, because my benefits ran out at the end of the year. She informed me that it would not be possible because they are just too busy. (Hint: they don't need your business). I told her that I was upset that she was okay with canceling last minute when I paid the missed fee + left a tip when I missed my appt. And she said she was sorry that I felt that way. That woman apologized for MY feelings! That's a reflection of who they are. Later that day, I got a call from the owner who said that if my missed appt was an emergency they would refund my money. I didn't bother returning her call. I know where to find the masseuse, Ivy, who is WAY better! And for a naturopath, Sage Med beats this place. read more

Had metatarsalgia (I think... Urgent care didn't really formalize the diagnosis and said it will be 1-2 weeks to recover so I didn't have high expectations. The day after a treatment by Sandy the pain in my foot dropped from an 8 to a 1! With a new pair of ABEO shoes with orthotics I can walk mostly normal again! This cute little place in Kirkland offers me 2 of my favorite things, the worlds best kick as* personal trainer, and delightfully superb acupuncturist. I've always been a girl (woman, I guess I'm no longer a spring chicken) who stays in good shape, and sometimes even great shape. Since I met Niki Reign my body has transformed. No she is not for the faint of heart. She will push you to get that body to change and you will do things you did't know you could do. Check this out, as a size 4/6, I still lost 2.75 inches off of each of my thy's. Watch out mini skirts. Jewell is my acupuncturist. Each visit is up to 90min long and I spend it in deep, wonderful body twitching relaxation sleep. My issues are always addressed and I feel much better. It was my first time there - I had called ahead to make sure they could take prenatal massage client, as this wasn't listed on their standard website service offering. The owner Mia, was professional and kind, and scheduled me in for the next week. She mentioned that my masseuse has had a decade of experience, but upon getting there, it does not seem like the masseuse is experienced with prenatal clients. For starter, they did not prepare any pillow in advance for sideway massage, which is customary for prenatal clients. It took about 5-10 mins for the masseuse to grab bolster and set up, and this was in addition to 5-10 mins of survey and questions, both of which were not made up, and the massage service ended very promptly on the hour. Then, when the treatment began, she instructed me to lie down in very awkward position that did not feel comfortable, pregnant or not. In the end, I adjusted to what worked for me, but through out the treatment, she was fussy about straightening the blanket and massaged with gloves on. For sanitation reason, I can somewhat understand (but touch is the nature of body treatment work?), but it also makes me think if the oil quality was dubious and hence her skin is sensitive? Before the massage even ended, she asked if I felt better or more relaxed, I have never been asked while the treatment was still in process, again, didn't seem very experienced. Last but not least, during my call before the appointment, they had confirmed they took my insurance, but upon my arrival, I realized they charged me 0.80 cents more than their usual hourly rate because this "counted towards my deductible". I wish they had informed me the payment was going to be the same with or without insurance, as I was under the impression they would be taking my co-pay! Three stars for the actual massage service, the massage would have been fine if I weren't pregnant, the masseuse did put in effort but should have extended a few more minutes as a courtesy for the set up and time, and more training in prenatal needs read more

I've been wanting to try acupuncture for years but my allergies this year spurred me on to finally try it. I was MISERABLE. I only chose Jade Spring because they were listed by my insurance company and they were the first to call me back - but I'm so glad that they did! Not only did my allergy woes significantly ease up, Melissa decided to work on my lower back with cupping. The very next day, I woke up without the stiff, achy pain I've had for years, even after sleeping on my back. It's been a couple of weeks and my back is still fine. And Melissa is awesome, she's a treasure trove of information and clearly loves what she does. We began going to Jade Spring a couple of years ago. We had a massage therapist we loved, but she decided to move on and pursue her art and also was not longer in the area. We spent some time checking out various practitioners with no luck. Our friend recommended 2 different massage therapists at Jade Spring. My husband and I go to Nicole every week. He goes on Sunday and I go Monday evenings. We have both had surgeries and a few injuries (are are simply aging) and consider this a part of holistic approach to health. The location seemed odd at first, it's just behind a McDonald's but then, as you approach the building you can see by the plantings and the garden that is cared for by the owner that this will be different. They've done such a great job of creating a special place that is dedicated to your health. OH- they also take most insurances. Yay! read more

This place is amazing and I had the best experience I've ever had with acupuncture there last week. Melissa did such an incredible job and as soon as I got off the table I started to feel much better than I had in months. Everyone here was so friendly and professional and made me feel at home and comfortable from the moment I showed up. Melissa used a specialized method of acupuncture with tuning forks that left me feeling balanced and amazing. If any of my symptoms return I know where I will be heading to cure them again. I love this Center and they provide services that blend well together. All the therapists are good at what they do but I think what I love the most is they teach you as well as help you with their treatments. Knowledge goes a long way. Ivy, incredible massages and I like them deep and she can oblige. Her knowledge of the body is so useful and I learn so much from her. All the acupuncturists are great and I love access to Oriental Medicine. The staff are amazing and so nice to work with. And yes it is hard to get a massage appointment but so worth it!! read more

Jade Spring exceeded my expectations for massage treatment. I went in initially for a specific type of massage not offered by many places (intra oral massage for TMJ). Coli, my therapist, is an excellent practitioner. After the first visit I had better results than expected - I could open my mouth fully after experiencing 6 months of limited mobility. She also worked on my IT band and it felt so much better after just an hour. I didn't know massage could be this helpful, but I'm a believer now! I highly recommend them if you need to workout some problem areas - don't hesitate! Keep in mind this is not a fancy spa but more of a treatment center. They even accepted my insurance, which was extremely helpful and made the multiple appointments affordable! read more

While my massage therapist (Ivy) is awesome, the office practices are NOT awesome. Beware of the bait and switch. I received a Holiday coupon for 1/2 off of a massage, acupuncture or facial. When I called to make an appointment for a facial I was told it was an acupuncture facial and if I had not had one there before, I would have pay for it first. So, I thought, OK, I'll see Ivy. A one hour massage is $80. I asked how much more (thinking I knew the answer - silly me) for a full hour. The receptionist said $35. I was surprised! $5 less that I expected! I confirmed the price, made an appointment, confirmed the time and price again and "thought" I was all set. When I arrived for my massage, the receptionist asked me for $45. Um. .. When I called the person said $35. . .you know the conversation. . The office manager was leaning on a fax machine or something behind the desk person and jumped in and said, no, it's $45. I mention that full hour is only $80 so at the most it should be $40, but still I was told on the phone it was $35. The Office manager person then starts to debate with me about the price and starts to describe. . . " you know when you go to QFC and buy 2 for 1 cans of soup and the price is. .. . . ". At this point I stopped her, feeling that this lame logic would make my head explode. I SHOULD have said, fine, I'll just take a 1/2 hour. However, I had my heart (and body set on an hour) so I reluctantly paid the $45, had a wonderful massage (thanks Ivy!) and left very unhappy. Don't trust any "coupons, gifts, etc." from this place. It's a crock. I would NOT recommend Jade Spring to anyone for any of their services. The services are good (or Ivy is) but their business practices and customer service suck. read more

I found Jade Spring Wellness about a year ago. I suffered from herniated discs in my neck and quite a few other unexplained health problems. Jade Spring is one of the only reasons I was able to make it through the toughest year of my life. I see Elie and Jennifer for massage and Cailtin for acupuncture. The best acupuncture and massage place in Kirkland.I came to Jade Spring Wellness Center with back pain related to bulging disc, migraines and adrenal exhaustion. After a few acupuncture treatments with Mia and Jewell my back pain was gone. Herbs were included for the treatment of migraines and adrenal exhaustion and I was able to go back to work after a month of treatments. my adrenal glands have improved. I love this place. It is clean, convenient and so far every LMP is awesome. I went in for an SI issue and have been getting massage there 3x a week for the last 2 weeks and I am improving already. The staff is efficient and friendly and they have someone who knows billing, which is a huge plus! I was recommended to this place by a friend and would highly recommend it to anyone in need.
