I needed a dentist on a Saturday to look at something urgent and after reading the other glowing reviews I gave Dr Ong a try. I've visited 3 dentists this week and she is by FAR the best one. Incredibly knowledgeable and very nice, Dr Ong was also by FAR the cheapest dentist I have been to. Her full exam with xrays and a cleaning is only $85, compared to $250-$300 at the doctors I went to earlier this week. She quoted me only $220 to repair a chipped tooth when Dr Ruiz in Burbank quoted $500. Also one of the only dentists that is open on Saturday, a huge plus for anyone that works 9-5 Monday - Friday. I'm actually recommending her to RAISE her prices because she deserves it for the quality of work and service she provides. Dr. Ong is probably the best dentist that I have been to. I originally started going to her practice when I lived in the valley and I still continue to go back after moving out of the area. It is hard to find another dentist with the same attention to detail and care about the patients. I have had a few fillings done here and each time I never even realize that the needle has penetrated my skin due to her technique. She has an amazing rapport with her support staff and each visit flows like clockwork. My fillings are also expertly done and it is hard to notice they are even there. She also cares about her patients and really remembers them. I hadn't visited for over two years and she still recalled previous conversations we had. Lost my job due to COVID, so i was not insured and was trying to put off some dental work. Unfortunately i couldn't wait any longer and my face was swelling due to a bad infection. I was able to enroll in a dental savings plan and found Dentist Jade. She had great reviews and was open for emergency visits. She got me in the same day i called. Had me with a prescription for the infection right away. I had to go back today to do my procedure and it was quick and easier than i was expecting. But I must say I was suprised with how little pain I felt going thru root canals and extractions. She is highly professional, kind and caring. The staff is absolutely great! Which is rare. Dr. Ong detected a lump in my throat and showed great concern which made me stop procrastinating, so I went to see a doctor. First time in over 20 years. Turned out to be cancer. Yesterday, the front surface of my capped front incisor came off while I was eating. I went home and texted Dr. Jade on her emergency number. She immediately responded. I was so relieved that she did so on a Sunday. She was able to squeeze me in at 9:30 am today. I am so grateful. The reception staff is friendly and very helpful. Her assistant is very efficient. Dr. Ong is by far my favorite dentist and I've had quite a few since I was never able to find one that I wanted to go back to. She is professional and knowledgeable, but at the same time really friendly and makes me feel at ease. Dr Ong is by far the worst dentist I've been to. Just needed a filling on a tooth that already had a root canal. She insisted I needed another one, somehow the roots grew back, but didn't hurt. I was quoted $500, never asked for anything but a filling with inexpensive material and she used the expensive stuff, lost control of the drill while in my mouth breaking 4 other teeth, but couldn't tell until they started crumbling a few days later. She charged me $1500 For a filling and cost me over 20k so far trying to keep my teeth from shattering. Now it's too late and the fang she hit while laughing, has crumbled and can't eat. I was not offered a refund or a lower payment and will not fix what she broke. The person who recommended her, had a tooth broken in the same manner. Personally, I find her a nice person, but would rather have professional dental work at the price I'm quoted and do the work I want, not her. Thank you so much for ruining my mouth. I love all the cuts on my tongue and looking like a hillbilly. Learn how to control a drill in someone's mouth. Be glad I'm a nice person, you ruined my health and am very upset. Haven't had solid food in years. Now I need dentures, thanks again for ruining my life. Yes, it's that bad! Don't let her put any instruments in your mouth. Ok, first of all I was always scared to go to the dentist, but I said I'm going to go anyways, so I did a little research on yelp on dentists and found Dr. Ong, with all five stars on reviews from people on yelp, so I said Ill give it a shot, so I scheduled an appointment, right when I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist and I filled out all of the necessary paperwork and right when I was done, they told me to go in, how awesome is that? I didn't have to wait for a second. Dr. Ong was very professional, gentle, and caring doctor, I just got my teeth cleaned at Dr. Ong's office and I am amazed with the results. I had my first appointment there last week I found them through my insurance's website. The girl's upfront are great and funny setting up my appointment was like I've known forever. I went in for a cleaning and exam. Dr. Ong really does have the lightest touch and makes you feel comfortable she always makes sure to ask if you're ok. During the cleaning, I mentioned I was a bit cold and not even a minute later Mrs. Kang (who's just the sweetest) jumped to get me a blanket and immediately covered me.
