I want to thank Dr Jonathan L Maddatu to be super nice to me when doing my deep teeth cleaning this afternoon. I really love the customer service because they are super nice to they new patients and old patients. The first time I come into Dr Jonathan L Maddatu is with my mom for a Consultation and a quick teeth cleaning and lots of teeth X-Ray I really didn't want to get my first ever tooth filling on my right side of my mouth but I have to do it before it get any worse. I will see you of again in November or December when I come back home from College for the holidays. I really dislike getting any Needles and And Shots and numbing Paste in my mouth because it really make me feel tried and make my whole mouth feel super funny. If you're looking for a dentist that actually cares, avoid this place at all costs. Came in with tooth pain that I've gotten a root canal on in the past and he was basically too scared to do anything. Kept asking the same questions 20 times, put me on antibiotics for two weeks and resolved nothing. Dr. Maddatu is an honest dentist. I have been to several dentists and I noticed that they do some dental work that you don't really need especially when you have a good dental insurance. Dr. Maddatu is not like that. Very professional and he will tell you what work you really need. Had the GREATEST experience here and Dr. Maddatu was awesome. I've always not liked the dentist, but this place actually cured me of my fear. The technology of the X-Rays was a very informative and interactive experience where I was shown LIVE streaming video of my teeth. A painless cleaning, and great assistant. I have ignored the severity of my TMJ and how much it effects my daily life. The Invisilign night guard that I have needed for years is already working and I've had it for only a few hours. And one of the greatest part of the whole experience... learning that my CA Denti-Cal Covered EVERYTHING but the $150.00 night guard which he took the impression on the spot. (and I had 2 days later from the lab) He didn't try to sell me on anything extra that a lot of dentists will do for profit. So I got a full mouth session of X-Rays, Full Cleaning, Bottom 4 tooth "facial" bonding (all on the spot - took under an hour), Consultation on the two Crowns I will eventually need ($700 each - Insurance does not cover) Molding Impression for Invisilign night guard top & bottom) and final plastic night guard. I was referred out by Blue Hills Dental, which they basically said we don't take Denti-cal and your personal insurance doesn't pay us enough. They also didn't recommend anyone in their referral so I had to search for a dentist that took both my personal dental insurance and Denti-cal. I found Dr. Maddatu's office and set an appointment for the next week. Blue Hills Dental told me that I possibly need 6 root canals and crowns at a decent amount of personal expense to me. To make a long story short Dr. Maddatu was surprised that I was told I needed root canals after his review of my x-rays. In fact I had to have him double check since I did not mention the root canals until after his initial review. So all 6 possible root canals turned out to be fillings and are done now and I have had no issues. Finding a good and honest dentist is about as easy as finding a good and honest mechanic. I did not feel at any point that Dr. Maddatu was trying to just make money off of me. I got the impression that he wanted to do what was needed to preserve and repair my teeth and not perform any unnecessary procedures. So I definitely recommend and trust this dentist. read more

I randomly came across Dr Jonathan Maddatu & his team while my car was getting serviced, just across the street from them! I had been searching for a good dentist here in LA for a few days prior, after i had unfortunately cracked a back tooth that was weak due to a filling and also previous root canal work. I'm SO glad i did...not only did Dr Maddatu fix my tooth, he did so without causing me any pain, and at a rate that i was able to work with. Do not go here or the lancaster location. They take your money, make you feel like it is your fault they had to tell you "yup you need a root canal", and send you on your way still in pain. When you complain they take your money and refer you to a different dentist. Noone wants to spend $1 for 5 mins in a massage chair!!! #ripoff read more

- WARNING! Our dental work was done EXTREMELY POORLY. My mother and i both had work done here together. Now when i was getting my work done i thought the dentist was nice and easy going although i noticed he hit some of my front teeth with the tools at one point also i almost choked on my saliva from lack of suction while i was getting my filling. I have reason to believe he might of been under the influence, extremely careless or might just be messing peoples teeth on purpose.When she got her dental fillings the dentist ended up cracking a tooth that was next to the one she was getting work done on, the dentist took no responsibility for this, thus my mother had to pay for his poor work and mistakes, basically she paid him for cracking a good tooth... What urged me to finally leave my comment is because the filling i had done only three years ago has already fallen out, i literally began crying. We are a working class single parent home and my mother and i paid over a thousand dollars each in payments to get work done and that's fine but to pay for EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED work with damage left us feeling ROBBED! I am so stressed out now, ill have to look for another dentist and pay once again for dental work i just finished paying not that long ago... This is pain and suffering i don't know what to do now, i don't know what dentist to trust now... I have never left a comment on anything before but i would NOT want anyone else experiencing this BURDEN. read more

Have you see typical LA dentists? They are too busy to answer your questions, scanning your teeth to find how much they can earn from it and when it comes to service, you should wait for hours to get in. Dr. Maddatu is not anything like them; I tried several doctors till I finally could find him, he is caring, I mean truly caring. He is patient with patients; he answers all the questions you may have, when you are with him, you feel that you are in a good hand, no matter how long it takes, he is there for you, he does not like to send you home half finished. And about his work, excellent, just excellent! he is the best dentist I have ever seen in LA, the staff are great too, nice attitudes, smile and sincere greetings, they really enjoy working and helping people. I have seen many bad doctors, doctors who were disrespectful, doctors who even did not care to answer my questions, that is why I love everything every time I go to Dr. Maddatu. He is honest, he has conscious and I respect the way he works.
