I have had a very negative experience with this office. The first time I had a cavity filled, I was in a lot of pain so they referred me to an endodontist, who told me I needed a root canal in the tooth NEXT TO the filling tooth, which this dentist didn't say had any problem. Then, after the root canal, I was still in pain so I went back to the dentist, who said there must be a problem with my root canal so they sent me back to the endodontist. The endodontist said my root canal is fine, that I needed to go back to my dentist because the tooth might be fractured and the dentist missed it. Right after this appointment I called the dentist and made an appointment for two weeks later, and when I called the day before to confirm they didn't answer the phone. I left a voicemail and no call back. Then I called back AGAIN today, knowing my apppintment is today, and they didn't answer the phone. Finally, they called me back and I have no appointment scheduled. I have been in pain for almost 2 months. This is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. read more

No credit taken from the rest of the staff as they make your visit as comforting and painless as possible. Very few doctor offices give this radiant vibe. The owner Gloriana is the best. I had a bad reaction with a certain drug in the anesthesia due to my back pain, so she tried taking one of the contents out and it worked! I felt no pain and was able to get my treatment done. 5 stars-why? Attentive, caring, clean, patient, and generous. The reception , Myra, instantly greeted me with a warm smile and great attitude. I brought in my two kids ages 3 and 4, which are super uncooraperate. My kids have seperation anxiety. At Molato Dental, RDA Maria, was so attentive to my kids. Maria, RDA, spoke to my kids in a soft friendly and welcoming tone. My kids felt comfortable working with Maria. Throughout the treatments, Maria, used creative terms to keep my kids interested. Maria, noticed each time my kids got nervous, uncomfortable, and scared; as a result, my kids were not pressured into any treatment. However, Maria did try her best and accomplish all the treatment necessary (we are good until 6 months!). Dr. Carlo Alvisse was caring and patient. He was passionately informative and explain to my kids how to avoid sugar bugs. He explained in a way my kids understood. On my way home, my kids said they only want to drink water...no more juice. Dr. Molato, greeted us and was so sweet to my kids. She offered them toys and stickers at the end of their treatment. The office is nicely and peacefully decorated. The rooms were clean and had great privacy. Sterilization area was tidy and organized. Instruments were all packaged and opened on site. Proper and new barriers were placed on chair, lights, and trays. New out of the box gloves were placed before treatment. I am pleased, impressed, and greatful. read more

Lucky find! Everything I look for in a dentist and I am probably the most demanding person I know. When I broke a molar I wasn't sure where to go or what really to have done. After a fairly extensive search and speaking to other dentists I'm glad I decided on this one! Dr. Molato and staff were great, pleasant, skilled, and caring. They took the time to understand my specific concerns and make sure each was dealt with to perfection! By far the best dental experiences I've ever had. The office itself is modern and always super clean. Each chair has a TV in front of it, so you aren't forced to stare at boring walls or thumb through old magazines while waiting. The ladies at Molato dental are all so sweet and treat you like you are family. My first time there I was cold, and Maria offered me a cozy blanket. How many dental offices have offered you a cozy blanket?! I really felt like they cared about me. Dr. Jeanie Molato is the worst dentist DDS DMD EVER! If the statue hadn't passed i would have sued her and filed a complaint with dental board. She treats humans worst than animals. After having her do a root canal and i ended up going to her 3 times the same day and than she told me to go see my own family doctor (which I said and the same thing my doctor (MD) said, how is dental (something she did) related to him and something that I should see him). Since I knew and the doctor said there is nothing he can do, and if its something the dentist did, I should return to the dentist and not the family doctor, I did. And her response was...there is nothing more I can do and go to emergency room (hospital) which I did and they only gave me morphine shot (pain shot) since there wasn't much they could do. That wore off within a few short hours and I was on any pain killer I could get my hands on until the next day, till I went back to see her. The next day she told me to go see a specialist since they are better equipped and have more specialized tools to trouble shoot which i did and as soon as the specialist turned on the chair over head light and look at my tooth, he said oh, she missed a canal. I was so furious how can she tell me he has specialized tool for which all he did was turn on the light and look at the tooth? In my opinion she was (is) not qualified to be a dentist and how can she miss something so simple? and special equipment my A#$ . Since i was in so much pain i paid the $1000 on top of what she charged me for the root canal. And the specialist said he would call her also to tell her she should refund me and told me to do the same (ask her) which she refused. And soon after the tooth cracked because she dog such a wide whole. I went to her and she said need to pull it out and she priced another feel to take it out, and when all done, and i went to pay, the price doubled because she said it was a surgical extraction. Because of her negligence i spend about $2000 and lost the tooth. My point, dont go to a doctor who wont take the time to do the job right. And doing a highway robbery on you. Just remember, when she doesn't do the job right, you can complaint to state (California dental board) make sure you do it in writing which than she has to answer and provide proof to the dental board (and you). Unfortunately I learned of all this way after this ordeal. The staff is wonderful but worst dentist in all my life. In my opinion, do anything yourself or go to any dentist but avoid this horrible horrible lying and unprofessional dentist. read more

I found Dr. Molato's information through my insurance provider's website. To be safe, I asked the Office Manager, Maria, if they were in-network with my insurance prior to scheduling my first appointment in November 2016. Maria confirmed that they were in-network. Upon arriving at the dental office for a first time visit which includes an oral exam, x-rays, and a cleaning along with new patient paperwork, it took me just over three hours to get through the process because this dentist does everything herself; she doesn't have a hygienist who would cut the time in half and is more readily and repeatedly trained in teeth cleanings. However, the services were 'good enough' so I decided to return three weeks later to have a filling completed since they told me that I had upwards of seven cavities that needed fillings. Within these three weeks, I had to call the dentist office three times to find out the extent that my insurance would cover and what my out of pocket costs would be because they always claimed they would call me back but never did. When I arrived at my appointment for my filling, it was apparent that Maria didn't communicate well or at all with the other front desk girl, Lou, who immediately stated how much they would charge for having four fillings done that evening - I had only scheduled one filling to be done. We got the misunderstanding cleared up, I was charged $115 for one filling, and I was able to go home two hours later. Fast forward one to two weeks later and I'm receiving emailed claims from my insurance provider with out-of-network amounts that I will likely need to pay. Upon calling the dentist's office on the amount of these claims, Maria yelled over me stating that she had told me every step of the way that they were out-of-network. Over these last two months, I made seven calls to Aetna to confirm that Jeannie Molato IS IN NETWORK and an additional three of the most offensive, rude and unhelpful phone calls to Maria and Lou at Dr. Molato's office that rendered absolutely NO HELP in getting the dental claims rectified. I was their patient and they would not take the time to listen to me or hear what I had to say. They continued to send me invoices even when Aetna told them that THEY OWED ME A REFUND. In one lucky phone call, Aetna and I were able to get on the phone with Jeannie Molato herself and explain the situation. While she sounded cordial and understood that her office was the offending party, they still dragged their feet and gave me the runaround for an additional three weeks before cutting my refund check. I just visited my new dentist Thursday night and guess what? Those seven cavities Jeannie Molato told me needed fillings do not exist! I was lied to multiple times, treated poorly beyond measure, and had to take an insurance system that I know little about into my own hands to ensure that my claims were processed correctly and my refund of $37 was received. This office is composed of ignorant, self-serving individuals who only care about the almighty 'buck', not the patient. I would never recommend this office to my worst enemy. read more
