They were amazing! An unexpected crack was discovered in the heat exchange of our HVAC unit. What this meant was we had immediately replace the entire unit. The crack was discovered Wednesday afternoon. By Wednesday evening we had an estimate to replace the rooftop unit. By 8:30am Friday morning, three Jaguar technicians were on the scene. I had a day off and decided to update my thermostats in my old house. I called dispatch and was quoted $79 per thermostat. I asked about cleaning the AC condenser coil as well and was told that i would only receive a quote when a free estimate was provided on site. they had amazing availability and were able to come out in 30 minutes on the same day. When HVAC service person arrived, he quickly stated that thermostat install would be $110 each and ac condenser coil cleaning would be $150. He said if I didn't want service, then there would be a fee for onsite estimate. I quickly let him know this wouldn't fly and I only invited his company to my house based on the dispatchers quote. He quickly agreed to honor the quote given by the dispatcher. In order to avoid calling another company in for the AC condenser cleaning. i agreed to that service as well. The thermostats were installed easily in the same prior locations of the old thermostats. One was screwed into a weak area in the drywall and thus only held in place by one screw. I didn't notice on install, but was obvious and should have been noted by technician. Th AC Condenser cleaning took a total of 10 min. He vacuumed the inside ,sprayed it with a hose and sprayed something that looked like 409 cleaner in it. That service was definitely not worth $150 dollars Overall very average experience. Work was done promptly and timely. Hated having to repeatedly negotiate prices that were already promised. Given an extra star ( thus 3 star review) due to prompt same day availability and friendly service rep who acknowledged his need to sell additional services including an service maintenance package. read more

There are a ton of HVAC companies out there, and when my 20-year old AC unit bit the dust, I started researching many of them. In the end I chose Jaguar Heating & Air because of two things: customer service and price. Mark Araldi was my service technician who went above and beyond in troubleshooting my HVAC issues and even taking time out of his schedule to write a detailed diagnosis for my insurance company. He was always prompt in responding to me throughout all hours of the day, and he gave me a lot of advice and instruction, even though I had not decided to hire him. He was patient and answered all my questions and never pressured me to choose his company or make any purchases. The customer service was first-rate! The price was also very important, especially for my out-of-pocket portion. And Jaguar was incredibly competitive. The company includes permits, warranties, inspections, and the installation was extremely professional. A couple of years ago we purchased our new heating and air system from Jaguar. The staff was awesome. Communication and time lines were all in place. They did a stellar job. We recently had an issue with our ac unit's fan not engaging. Within one day they had technicians out to our home. They determined it was an issue with a breaker from our home. They took the time to show me and explain it to me. When I asked, they recommended an electrician and took pics etc for us so we could let who ever we ended up choosing to do the work know what they would need to expedite the repair. After we had the necessary repair to our home breaker, they came back, on a weekend, to make sure our system was up and running for us. Cancelled on me the morning of my apt due to rain and never contacted me back to set up another appointment time.

My AC went down and I reached out to Jaguar. Their technician, Jessie came out and diagnosed the issues with my AC unit. They were very busy and couldn't fix the Air Conditioner for over a week. I went with another HVAC company and it appeared (temporarily) that the problem was only minor and 10% of the original quote from Jaguar. My AC worked for an hour after the 2nd company left before hot air began to blow out in my vents. Not good when it's 104° outside. I called the 2nd company up and their response was "I guess Jaguars diagnosis was spot on" this company couldn't make it back out until late in the week, the following week. Back to square one. 104° outside, 90° inside. Jaguar's owner Mustafa reached out to me over the weekend just to see how things were going. He didn't have to, but he did. I explained to him my AC is still not fixed. Jaguar had an opening the following day. They came out and fixed my AC. Protected the floor inside. Spent close to 2 hours Thoroughly going through my unit. The repair price was very reasonable but most importantly. We're back online with the looming heat spell forecast for Sacramento. Jesse diagnosed a capacitor on its last leg that once he replaced it really helped my ac compressor come back to life! He is very knowledgeable about the entire HVAC space and doesn't give you the run around on what it might be, just right to what it now working and how to repair it. No run around, exactly the kind of people I love to give business to when it's needed! HVAC blows cold again and so much quieter, no more loud sound out of the registers! Just came home to my new HVAC system and couldn't be happier!I shopped around quite a bit before contacting Jaguar for an estimate. Montie came out and immediately put my mind at ease. He was extremely professional and equally knowledgeable. I went over other estimates with him and he not only beat everyone's price, he threw in a couple upgrades to boot. I thought it was cool that rather than bad mouthing the competition he simply provided more for less. With the expense of a new system and being a penny pincher I continued pestering Montie with several questions over the next couple weeks and was never made to feel like a nuisance. After committing it was very soon after the crew (Josh, Luke, and Joe) showed up ready to get started. Everyone was wearing booties and masks. During a few days of our recent 100 degree weather, we realized that air was not flowing into my son's front bedroom. It is also a room that contains two walls facing the outside, so the room was miserable. I shopped around for a month to completely replace my hvac, ductwork, and add insulation and chose Jaguar because of their knowledge and willingness to match another bid (not the cheapest but reasonable). The job began Jan 3rd and did not finish until today. Everyone in the company, including the owner, has always been very nice, but they did not have an urgency to complete my job and lack communication. There were a series of events that happened to include damage to my home which later they fixed, the AC was installed without being leveled, dampers not installed correctly, final inspection that still needed to be done, and another return had to be installed because of the size of the new unit (this should have been determined from the beginning but did not get rectified until after my continued complaints). There were missed appointments, unreturned phone calls and texts, and workers showing up without an appointment. I originally gave them a 2 star rating because of the lack of follow through in completing my job. Since my initial review just four days ago, the company has made it right and therefore I am I updating this to a 4 star rating because regardless of the ongoing problems, they are a pleasant company to work with. read more

Very please with the professionalism of the men who came yesterday that installed a new heating and air conditioning unit at my house. With the weather being wet and cold it was nice to see the consideration of the men closing the door each time any of them exited or entered the house and laying out protection for the floor as to not cause a mess. Yes! They even worn shoe protectors while in the house as to not scuff the hardwood floors as well. Nice! The furnace and air conditioning unit that I had originally was probably 40 years old and was, well, not sufficient, so in its place a Trane Unit was installed. This unit is much quieter when the heater runs and when the air conditioning unit was tested it was quite as well. Along with a new heating and air conditioning unit installed, I had smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector installed too. When all was completed NO mess was left behind. I would like to acknowledge Josh Williams, Jason Willams, and Douglas Veliz for doing a professional job to the very end! Thank you!
