I find this 3 days after purchase and receiving, after which, the car is already 2 days late from when they said they'd ship it. I've contacted them 5 times over two weeks and they don't call back to resolve the key issue. During all of this, I now find the backup camera stops working. Something they said they replaced for me. Again, called them, emailed them. They don't ever call back or acknowledge these problems. But rest assured, the AI chat bot on their website says they'll make this "high priority" and get back to me. It's been two weeks and no one has called or e-mailed. Nothing but a scam these people. They are apparently okay with having a 16 year old girl stuck on the side of the road, in 30 degree weather, without a way to get into her car to manually start it and get home. Wish I could give them a 0 star, but 1 is the lowest I can give.

We took the back to the dealer and to their credit, they checked it out twice and couldn't find the issue. A second set of eyes at a local auto repair shop did the trick. They found out the radiator was clogged and the O2 sensor was bad. And get this, Battaglia paid for all the repairs and diagnosis time. Two great businesses in Norristown! The vehicle has spent more time being repaired than driven. I made multiple attempts to have these issues addressed through VIP Auto, but I was turned away on several occasions or unable to receive consistent support. While one member of management did assist with some repairs, the overall condition of the vehicle at the time of sale raises serious concerns. After the purchase, I was informed by BMW service professionals that the vehicle showed signs consistent with prior accident-related damage, including observations made during service. This concern was also acknowledged in follow-up discussions. This information was not disclosed to me at the time of sale, and I was not provided with a vehicle history report such as a Carfax prior to completing my purchase. Additionally, there are visible areas on the vehicle that appear to have been repainted. This would have significantly impacted my decision to proceed. I also purchased an extended warranty, which I continue to pay for; however, it was extremely difficult to find a repair facility that accepted it. By the time I located a participating mechanic, much of the coverage period had been lost. After seeking service directly through BMW, I was presented with thousands of dollars in necessary repairs. Even with partial assistance from the dealership, I still incurred significant out-of-pocket expenses, including tires and ongoing repairs. To this day, the vehicle still requires service. In addition, I was placed into a high-interest loan and attempted to contact the salesperson regarding refinancing, but I did not receive a response. Due to the repeated mechanical issues, concerns regarding undisclosed prior damage, and ongoing financial burden, I have explored my rights under New Jersey consumer protection and lemon law guidelines. This has been an extremely difficult and costly experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase to obtain an independent inspection, review all vehicle history reports, and carefully evaluate warranty and financing terms before proceeding.

He was rude and lied straight to my face on several occasions. The first laughable lie that he told me regarding the car I was inquiring about was that he had someone flying in to get it that weekend (it was a thurs). Keep in mind this was not some rare, limited edition, car - it was a used/leased SUV. At least if he's going to try that "create urgency" trick, make it believable. The second lie he told me, which I found out after I bought the car, was that the engine had been completely removed to clean out carbon build up. Okay, at least I wasn't going to have that problem again, but I specifically asked about this problem prior to buying the car. The third lie was that he would have the car detailed before pickup. It would look "bran new" he said. It was not - it looked like it had been run through a car wash, but that's it. Another thing to watch out for is the infamous "Dealer Fee". In this case it was $600 on top of the list price. Dealers, especially used car ones, work this fee into their business plan to reel customers in with a low price and then slap additional cost to make some more back end profit. I asked about this fee, and was even willing to walk away from buying the car if it wasn't removed, but alas, he still had a good price even with the fee. This bait and switch left me feeling robbed. But the thing that really sent me over the edge was something I noticed when I first saw the car, but didn't fully realize until recently. A paint drip on the rear bumper indicating that it had been repainted, and not by a pro. I asked about this and he told me he had it repainted because the previous owner scratched it. I figured it was okay, because it didn't look 'that bad'. What he didn't say was he neglected to have the clear coat painted on over the base coat of paint! I gave it a careful look and realized why it was scratching so easily. Anything to make a profit and deceive your customer. Thanks, now I have to get the bumper repainted if I ever want to sell it. Before the purchase when I asked to get the car looked over he tried to get me to agree to having his service dept look at it. I promptly said no and insisted that it be done by another dealer. ONLY deal with this guy if you have the car checked over thoroughly and the price is below what you can get elsewhere while keeping the "dealer fee" in mind. I thought I did my homework, but I'm still discovering things. Don't get me wrong, the car is fine, and was a good buy, but I could do without all the absolute BS I was fed.
