    Mocha - Iced Breakfast Sandwich

Perfect ambiance. Delicious food and drinks! I got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich and iced mocha. Service was nice and quick. WiFi with plenty of seating and charging area makes it the best spot to get work done near the water! Wish I had one of these in my hometown!

Jaho Coffee & Tea is a cutesy pink coffee shop located next to the wharf. A huge perk about Jaho is that it's open late (like 8 to 10pm-ish). There's plenty of seating inside and it's usually busy here. My go-to drink here is a hot French toast latte with oat milk. Ever since I discovered it I refuse to order anything else! P.S. Jaho is a chain, and there's two different locations in Salem.

Super flavorful rich tasting variety of coffees, lattes, teas and pastries. Loved the pumpkin latte so much I had to get a second one to go. The pumpkin scone was a perfect consistency -excellent spices and tasted great! Really loved the decor.

Yummy!!! Boba so good :) Lotta mayo on the ham sammy, strongly recommend the less mayo option. Had the jalapeño bagel with chive cream cheese and it made me very happy. Well paired with the brown sugar boba thing. Big fan of this place, very cute atmosphere. Big fan of the cup lids, super adorbs. Gf took a million drink stoppers to "reduce reuse recycle". Thanks! Kind staff too. God Bless.

I went searching for coffee and found this place right near our hotel. I got an iced Spanish latte and it was fantastic...slightly sweet, perfectly creamy and bold coffee flavor! They were also super helpful when I didn't know what I wanted.

What a hidden gem. The coffee was amazing, almond joy latte. I also left with ice hibiscus tea so good. Friend got Irish coffee, she was impressed! The service amazing. The place had the best vibe. The decor was adorable with a badass kick. The cups so cute pink with heart stopper , to close off coffee. Will be back.

Jaho has great hours, is super convenient, and its food and drink selection makes sense at any hour. The staff is super friendly and considerate. Honestly most coffee shops wouldn't catch my attention, but I had consistently positive experiences here, so I wanted to ensure I gave a little credit to a gem that might be overlooked since it's off the main strip.

    Way too sweet

Ordering boba was so confusing? I got 2 milk teas and my family did not like them. Too sweet. Two mango boba which is apparently blended???and way too sweet. The cashier never explained. I thought it was boba tea over ice and it's a smoothie? $8 each is crazy. No smaller size. Not worth it

Still love it here. Impromptu visit for quick light bite. Only 3 in the Salem Canal St location. New Year's Day only 3 in whole place. Note you should order before you enter. We forgot so used kiosk but often there's a line. This location serves Salem State and no kids today.

We love this spot and we make sure to get coffee here whenever we are on the wharf. It's always busy, but you can avoid some of the crowd by using their digital order kiosks or ordering ahead, which makes things so much easier. Their seasonal Linzer Tart latte was delicious, with a great raspberry shortbread flavor, but my favorite is the iced Kulfi latte ($8) --it's perfectly sweet and creamy. It's a nice blend of espresso, cold foam, pistachio, cardamom, condensed milk and rose petals. It's almost more of a dessert than a coffee. The salmon bagel ($13) is also a solid choice if you're looking for a bite to eat. With both indoor and outdoor seating, you can make it whatever sort of vibe you want. We try to sit outside, but usually end up just taking it to go while we walk.

Good vibe and fast service. It's conveniently located by the harbour. It seemed unusual for me to see a coffee/Boba place in Salem. But I guess most tourist areas are selling Boba's now. They have a good range of hot and cold food. The food and drinks are a fusion of Italian, Spanish, Chinese/Japanese, and American. The snacks and cakes are presented with such care that it makes you want to try all of them. We opted for Chai Latte, Mango smoothie, and a Tiramisu Cake Cup. We all came out of the shop happy and satisfied.

Taro Bubble Tea - sinfully delicious!

Jaho is a staple in Salem for coffees, pastries, and fun drinks. We often pop in for a treat! I am also excited to see that Jaho is on the Too Good To Go app - I got a pretty good haul from them recently (check the app out if you haven't yet!). I do feel that some of their products are a bit on the pricier side, but often they are worth it. Their bagels are stand out in the area - especially the one with the jalapeños and cheese. Make sure to grab one when you are in the area!

April 17, 2026 I…read morewent with my parents tonight to the Adriatic Restaurant (Washington Street), Salem, MA. We've started having dinner out twice a month and this was the most recent experience. I had gone online to the NORTH SHORE DINNING PAGE on Facebook and asked people about their experiences with the restaurant in the last two days and here's what people said: "great, tender meatballs", "great eggplant parmigiana", "very good experience". .... And what we found out is that they were right. Those things were all true! Now.... As to what we ordered: I got the grilled octopus. It was the only partial miss on the menu. Arugula just doesn't make a very good sauce and it was a pretty bad base for what would otherwise might have been a great appetizer. My mother got the Caesar salad. It was good. It's a hard thing to screw up. My father ordered the meatballs. They were amazing and delicious - just like Facebook promised. The tzatziki sauce was good. Maybe not as good as mine, but good nonetheless. So dinner.... Mine was the Chicken Saltimboca. It was so good that I'd bathe in the sauce they make with it. I loved eating forkfuls of the chicken with bites of the mashed potatoes. That was really luxuriant. My mother had the Eggplant parmigiana and she wiped out the entire plate. She loved it. My father.... Beef tenderloin tips. Maybe cooked slightly too much, but delicious. He wiped out the plate. To drink.... I was out of the hospital and recovering from brain tumor surgery, so I had the hard cider (3.5% BV), my father had the Peroni (Italian) beer, and my mother had the Bud light. I tasted the Peroni and liked it very much. The hard cider had almost no sweetness to it. It was dry as a higher end brut champagne.... Which actually set off the meal really nicely. My tastes weren't clashing and that was good. Our waiter, Sean, was great. Ask for him! We left a $32 tip, so the bill came to $197.85

Because I have a serious dairy allergy, I need to be careful when ordering, and the person helping me was patient and thoughtful about making sure my iced pumpkin spice latte was prepared with oat milk and remained completely dairy-free. I truly appreciated that care. Unfortunately, the breakfast selection was disappointing. There were no vegan food options available, which meant I could order a drink but had nothing to eat with it. For a coffee shop in a busy destination like Salem, I would love to see at least one satisfying vegan breakfast choice on the menu. My iced pumpkin spice oat milk latte had a pleasant flavor, but it arrived with barely any ice. An iced latte should be properly chilled and refreshing, especially during a warm morning of walking around Salem, and this one wasn't cold enough. Overall, the kind and accommodating staff were the highlight of my visit. With vegan breakfast offerings and a properly iced drink, this could have been a much stronger experience. For this visit, JAHO Coffee earns three stars from me.

If you order online, it doesn't reflect what they have in stock accurately sometimes so I was a little disappointed something I ordered was out and ended up subbing it for a pistachios muffin (wasn't a good muffin, the nuts were really bitter). Service was really good, very attentive staff and really accommodating. I had a jalapeño and cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese. The bagel was PERFECTLY crispy, the perfect amount of salt and the jalapeños were pickled. It was one of the best jalapeño cheddar bagels I've ever had. I also ordered two drinks because I couldn't choose. I went with the Black Sugar Matcha Latte and Hokkaido Milk Tea. The Black Sugar Matcha Latte is the bestest. Would definitely come here in the summer again because I love a good outside seating situation.

Because the crust is so thin, it pools a decent amount of grease in the middle when it comes out right out of the oven. The pizza is significantly better if you let it cool and rest for a good 5 mins. The funky outer-space theme is packed with incredible memorabilia, including signed items from Star Wars, Star Trek, The X-Files, and more. Everywhere you look there's something interesting to check out while you wait for your food. The pizza absolutely lived up to the hype; fresh, flavorful, and worth the trip. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure our family had everything we needed. They had unfortunately run out of their famous garlic rolls, so we tried the gluten-free garlic slices instead. While we appreciated having an alternative, they just weren't the same. One funny family moment: my youngest was afraid to use the bathroom because of all the graffiti on the walls! Once I explained it was part of the restaurant's quirky aesthetic, he laughed about it. One small heads-up for future visitors: there is a step immediately outside the exit that can be easy to miss. My son took an unexpected tumble walking out. Thankfully, he wasn't hurt, but it's worth watching your step. Overall, the incredible pizza, unique atmosphere, and excellent service made this a place we'd happily visit again. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a landing.

I think anything goes but would suggest at least nicer jeans. Since this was our travel day; I wanted a nicer place that we could eat light or heavy. 5 Corners Kitchen jumped out as it has inhouse made pastas (and usually several pasta dishes to choose from). Inhouse made pasta is more common on the East Coast (scarse where we live on the West Coast). I made a reservation in advance (week before) and glad I did. Guessing reservations required! We arrived for our 5pm reservation right when they opened. There was a line outside but when they unlocked the doors (reminded me of a scene from The Bear) most immediately went to the bar to eat and drink. Most tables are set for two people with a few for larger parties (6-8 people). Date night type place with more table turns. At 5pm, there were very few diners but by 515pm the place was packed and remained that way with other parties coming in (the pictures show before others arrived). Interior is very modern yet cozy. Great vibes. Lots of fun lights and accents all around. Tables for two are small but our food arrival and eating was just the right pace. I noticed the table next to us was having difficulty with space (but not other tables). They ordered several appetizers (vs entrees) and wanted them at once. The server was great in asking when we wanted our courses as the order goes in all at once, the kitchen just needs to know when. The food was outstanding! We are Foodies so we know and seek out grrat food! Because we traveled all night and day, we weren't too hungry, so we skipped on an appetizer. They have great options and we wished we had more space but decided we were going to have dessert instead! Very nice selection of wines by the glass and/or bottle along with many beers including a few BA beers, and.a full bar for what looks like very creative cocktails! My husband ordered an NA Ale and pleased with his selection. I ordered Camille tea! The food! We started with slitting a wedge salad and sure glad we split it! Just one-half was plenty big! The heirloom cherry tomatoes were excellent, the dressing great, and the inhouse bacon pieces were OMG so good! A meal in itself! For entrees, I ordered the Mushroom Rigitoncini. Lots of different types of mushrooms along with Black Truffle. The sauce was absolutely amazing! The homemade pasta, excellent and done just right! It had Arugula for the herb (vs Basil) that gave it a nice accent flavor. Excellent choice! My husband ordered the Salmon dish, served over a warm salad with a nice light vinaigrette! Fresh fish and excellent dish. Small menu with ten entrees plus a special.to select from, but honestly hard to choose and they all are so tempting. Hoping to be able to return while we are still.here this week! For desert we ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Again,.so hard to choose but their Gelato is inhouse made and this one came with a scoop of Vanilla Gelato, like ordering two desserts! We barely had room but enjoyed every bite! Excellent restaurant! Service was wonderful and our Server, Declan, was exceptional. Very attentive. Other staff helped to clear plates (necessary with small tables), bring dishes, refill water glasses, etc. All were very friendly and helpful.
