The WORST experience ever! I had an appointment with Dr Jain and made sure that I was going to see the actual doctor and not a nurse practitioner when I scheduled my appointment . I was assured I would see Dr Jain . When I waited to be checked in I knew this office was a bad idea. I waited 8 minutes standing there waiting for someone to help me check in. One person was on the phone and two others just sitting at their desk doing nothing . No one said a word to me and once the person got off the phone they checked me in. Once I was brought back to a room I could see Dr Jain in the hallway smiling and talking to staff. I went into the room and in comes a nurse practitioner . He asked why I was coming in today and I asked why Dr Jain wasn't seeing me since my appointment was with him. I was then told that Dr Jain had to leave due to not feeling well . I said, I just saw him in the hallway smiling and talking to people and he looked fine to me! I couldn't believe i was being lied to ! I was there to go over some very large concerning kidney cysts from an MRI that I had done a few months ago and the nurse practitioner couldn't answer any questions or give me any info other than to do a repeat MRI in a few months. I wasn't happy and he knew it , I told him I want to get the MRI done sooner than later and I don't want contrast and he greed and then he rushed out to the next patient. I wanted to have the MRI done before the new year and before my $5,000 deductible starts over so I scheduled my MRI before the new year. I was then told by the imaging center that the MRI order was sent to use contrast even after I told the nurse I didn't want contrast. I called the office again and they said they would correct the order for no contrast. A few days before my MRI I'm informed from the imaging center that I can't get it done because the doctor's office didn't send the new order . I called the office again to find out why it wasn't sent and was told they were working on it . I then received a call back from Amanda saying that they won't send the new order over because I'm not supposed to get it done for 6 months. I told her the nurse didn't say I had to wait and he knew that I was trying to get it done before the new year so I can find out what's going on with my kidneys. All I know is, is if I have cancer this Dr will be in serious trouble . This is MALPRACTICE and my health concerns were blatantly ignored after several attempts to seek treatment and get answers. I would AVOID this mess of a doctor at all costs unless you want to get jerked around and dismissed . I am disputing the visit with my insurance company since I didn't even see the actual doctor . They don't deserve my money! I can see why they have such poor reviews . The entire office is full of apathetic slackers who have zero compassion for people. read more

This urology clinic SUCKS! I was treated so poorly. Going to find another urology clinic. I'll never go back!!

Let me start by saying that I typically don't take the time to write reviews, however given my experience with this provider I thought it was imperative to do so. I was taken by ambulance to Abrazo hospital already hesitant about this but since my pain due to a kidney stone of 6mm in the process of exiting my kidney I had no choice. I was told I needed a procedure to put in a stent and help my bladder drain. I obviously had to be admitted not before 6 missed attempts on getting an IV at abrazo Buckeye, needless to say my arms are purple still after 4 days. My surgery was initially scheduled for the following day at 12 but an emergency came up and had to be moved down to 3-4 pm. After waiting an hour in pre-op the nurse informs me this and I am transferred back to my room. At 3:00 she shows up again and tells me it is time and we are going back. Mind you I am feeling sleepy and groggy from the narcotics hysterical laughter from the uncaring staff wake me at 4:15. I proceed to yell "excuse me" when one of the nurses says "OMG why are you still here " under her breath. I very annoyed ask what happened with my surgery come to find out the so called doctor hadn't even showed up yet. The nurses start calling him like crazy at this point I obviously didn't want anything done anymore ( I was already doubting anyways) but when this doctor shows up I was doing some research on him and asked if the doctor I had pulled up was the correct one he starts screaming at me asking if I was going to put a bad review. The nurses' mouth dropped open along with mine, needless to say that after that fiasco I absolutely did not go under his care. This doctor has 0 bedside manner let alone manners, he does not care for his patients and should not be practicing. This is written by my husband and I totally agree with him. If we did not have a strong marriage this could of been devastating being told he has an STD when he did not have one. .... Dr Jains' incompetence is only exceeded by his lack of caring for his patients. Upon my first urinalysis, his staff informed me that I had a STD and should inform "all" my sexual partners. That sounded extremely fishy considering the fact that my wife and I have had a purely monogamous relationship with my wife for many years. When I questioned the assistant about the impossibility of this happening, he said, "well just between you and me... this STD is very common" he gave me no information regarding the probability of both of us having it for many years without knowing. He was very defiant when I alluded to the idea of an error or false positive. We immediately went to my wife's gynecologist whom has been doing my wife's yearly exams. This woman showed 10 times the understanding and compassion that Dr Jain's fleet of uninformed dullards; we were relieved to be informed that there was no possible way for both of us to be asymptomatic for six years. She said that these tests come back inconclusive quite often. My wife got tested and I insisted they do another urine sample. Lo and behold, we both came back negative. When I informed the doctors staff about the error, instead of an apology, I received and inane giggle from the receptionist. The next time I saw the wonderful Doctor was the same day I met his sadomasochistic nurse who rudely shoved the scope in me after begging for extra numbing agent. During this visit the Doctor asked me if I took the medicine prescribed for the STD. I informed him that I did not take the med because I did not have and STD. His response (tongue in cheek) was, "well .. that is up to you". This is far from any apology I might have expected to receive for causing over a week of stress and tension between my wife and I over the matter. Dr. Jain should be avoided at all costs. I have no other urologist to compare to Dr Jain. Maybe, I expected too much or maybe there is need for improvement. I had prostate cancer, and my PCP referred me to Dr Jain. I elected surgery, frankly because I wanted the cancer out of me. Dr Jain provided no guidance as to what what options were other than surgery or radiation. After I elected surgery I just waited for several month, I should have been doing Kegel Exercises to strengthen my pelvic floor. After the surgery Dr Jain provide my with a three page listing of Physical Therapist NONE of which were useful. They were for women only, no longer providing the therapy, out of business, or did not accept any type of insurance. I was just left out there hanging. Not a pleasant time nor a pleasant Doctor, at least from my perspective. read more

Got referred to this urologist by my pcp, will never ever go back to him. Does not care about his patients.
