All I know is one of them just shaved his beard and my husband is distraught. I'm pretty sure my husband is thinking about changing his name to Adam. Before my husband ever started fly fishing, I used to go here with my daughter clothes shopping. They have some really great brands - made in America - excellent customer service. When my husband put down his guitar and picked up his fly rod (only one expensive hobby at a time, please), this became the go-to place for all the things. Fly rods. Reels. Bags. Shirts. Pants. You get the drift. This is where my husband was introduced to and fell in love with Kuhl pants. He also really loves the Orvis-branded hats and shirts and jackets. This year he even has some things on his wish list for the dog. They've got a great selection of dog beds and toys in wonderful quality. And as I said, made in America, which is very important to our family. And then there are the Adams. They are really knowledgeable about the area fishing spots and my husband knows he can rely on them for current information. He just got home from Orvis, as a matter of fact, where one of the Adams told him Oatka and the Niagara River are looking pretty good right now. Tip: They teach free fly tying and fly fishing classes as well. If you're at all interested in learning how to fly fish, this is hands-down the best place in the area to learn. Ask for Adam.

We borrowed poles and were able to head outside to learn how to Fly Fish. We even got to attempt (and I got one!) using Velcro flies and Velcro fish out on the lawn. It was super silly and fun. The store is neat, clean, and organized. You can get clothing, Shoes, Pet Supplies, and all imaginable gear (and there's a TON) for this sport. Prices range from $100 - $1,500 depending on the level of deep dive you plan to make into the world of Fly Fishing. We are signed up for Fly Fishing 201 in a week and I will report back!

A couple months ago, I…read morebought a bike for my teenage daughter and one particular staff person (Zach) was very helpful in letting us find the correct size bike. Fast forward to yesterday when I had to bring the same bike in for repairs (brought on by my daughter-not the bike's fault). Zach was now the one to fix the bike. Zach was great at both explaining what he was doing and taking the time to make sure it was done well. I had to leave the bike overnight but I got a call the next day with an explanation of what was completed as well as the cost. It was far less expensive than I was expecting.

On-line (Amazon or Discount dance) is ok for accessories and if you are sure of the fit of your clothing/ dance tights and leotards. For shoes specifically we don't think it wise to Internet order. Going into her 11th year of formal dance classes, my teen daughter was excited to get her first pointe ballet slippers. A true ballerina! She was a bitty 4 year old baby ballerina when she started. We shopped at Baileys earlier this week. The young lady who waited on us was helpful. She brought out several pairs of pointe ballet shoes (the kind that allows the ballerina to stand on her toes - ouch) for my daughter to try. Each one fit a bit differently. I hope my daughter will enjoy her new pointe shoes and find them comfortable. The shoes, plus inserts and ribbons all came to $143 approximately. Not cheap. Dance, like any sport, has related expenses.

When I asked the fellow who was waiting on us, he showed us tights, fitted her for slippers, and said she needed toe separators and toe pads. The tights ($11 each) had runs in the the first time she wore them. The toe separators weren't necessary for a first time dancer. The slippers were too small And the toe pads ($28) weren't necessary. My total bill was over $100. When I attempted to return the toe pads (unused and in original package) the owner refused, stating it was beyond their return policy deadline. There was absolutely NO consideration, in spite of the other problems stated above. I will never set foot in this shop. Because of their location, they probably cater to the rich, and $28 probably doesn't mean anything to them. BEWARE OF THEIR RETURN POLICY ... YOU WON'T WIN!

Out of the blue, some other employee walks up and barks, "That's not what you are looking for," then rolls his eyes and walks away. What happened to the friendly local bike store with staff who were polite? Cyclists are typically a really great community, but why doesn't Bert's follow in that tradition? If you are in a jam and need something quick, this might be the place to go. They need to work on those personal communication skills. Maybe they need to spend more time out riding in the community. I wish I could be more positive about my experience.

Pete is a giver and is generous with his time, expertise and enthusiasm for paddling. He not only runs the shop, but helps get you in and out of the boat and safely in and out of the canal. He loves what he does and he loves helping you get out and enjoying the canal. His enthusiasm is contagious. He is simply THE BEST!!! The water was clean in some parts and not in others. There were a few large branches we had to avoid. We got a quick good lesson on kayaking before we went into the water; it was very helpful. Our kayaking journey was absolutely beautiful. We passed a whole lot of ducks. They really kept us entertained. We passed a cute park, went through some gorgeous neighborhoods. Overall, there were a lot of trees on the shore by the canal so it felt very serene. I would recommend kayaking here! :)

Service 5 I've been…read morehaving foot pain and wanted to buy a new pair of sneakers that might help. The salesman and the assistant manager were very helpful. The manager suggested gel inserts to ease the plantar fasciitis type of pain instead of buying a new pair of sneakers. He said the soles and general condition of my sneakers was good. The $25 inserts are providing some relief. That was nice of them to show me an alternative instead of spending up to $80 in a new pair of sneakers. Next time I need a new pair of shoes I'll be back. It's good to have decent customer service which is hard to find these days.
