We were served a seasoned, grilled fresh haddock with house-made pickled vegetables, pico de gallo and lime crema in a corn tortilla and Andy's house Lager. I thought the fish taco was okay and was probably my least favorite food item from the whole tour. Andy's house Lager was very smooth and I really enjoyed it. Our tour guide talked about the suspicious happenings and the history of Andy's Old Port Pub. Also, the tour guide talked about Harbor Fish Market which was right across from Andy's Old Port Pub. The staff visit Harbor Fish Market in the morning and purchase fresh seafood.

It's open seating so we sat ourselves & one of the two waitresses came over to use fairly quickly. She had our drinks to the table fast but again there wasn't much traffic here. Before the food arrived she came back & told us she would be leaving because it's so slow & was transferring us to the other waitress. All was fine. When the food came out my wife's salad was without any dressing & my steak salad was overcooked. I ordered medium & it was well done. Pretty bland too, but bad choice on my end. Wife had to get up & find somebody to get dressing for her salad. We shared some Mac & cheese to try it & I wasn't a fan either it's bland as well even though it's "house made". It has old school vibes when you step inside with plenty of exposed brick walls and art/decor on many of the walls too. As well as quite a few TVs like you'd expect most bars/pubs to have. It certainly has a vibe overall where I can understand those who live nearby would make it their go-to choice for a beer or a bite to eat by themselves or with friends or to catch a game on the TVs. The visits me and my wife have had including bringing out of state family to visit have been good service wise with minimal complaints but at times waits for food have been longer than expected even when restaurant was not busy. Could use some improvement but minimal. Food wise I have had a burger from them, their mac n cheese, as well as some other sandwiches. I would kind of classify the food in a similar way as the service. It is good but doesn't leave me wowed or thinking I need to return for the meal. It's solid for bar/pub food.
