This place has been open for years, how are there no reviews yet?! It's A taco truck, but it's a permanent fixture in a gas station parking lot. They recently upgraded their tables and added a new patio roof with lights. Their food is delicious and inexpensive. I especially like their al pastor! Best I've had. Family of four w/big appetites and honestly quite picky when it comes to Mexican food. The consensus was that the food was delicious! We had the carne asada burritos and tacos de lengua. My go to Taco spot in Tulare. The locals call it "J st tacos". Customer service is friendly and fast. You can see through the windows on the food truck while they are cooking your food. They make sure the tables are clean and help direct you to parking because it can get packed. The food is always delicious, I order the burrito de lengua. It has rice and beans in it. They have a variety of salsa, limes, & grilled onions that you can choose from, and they allow you to get as much as you need to make your meal how you like it. I've been coming here for awhile now. It use to be my favorite spot at one point. Not anymore, time and time again I try to give them the benefit of doubt and continue to try their food after tonight I will no longer be coming here again. I ordered my usual 2 asada tacos and 2 lengua with cheese. My fiancé ordered 5 asada with cheese. Seemed like the price went up? Not for sure but I know my tacos tonight weren't worth the wait or money. Let's start off with they haven't been making their caramelized onions anymore this is the second time I've came and they said they don't have them anymore. Kind of the main reason I even come to this taco truck anyways we finally get our food and half my tacos don't have cheese. I'm starving so I don't want to go back and complain so I just start to eat. My asada tacos were decent had some burnt hard meat but whatever's now for my lengua tacos. I love to come here for their burritos they're so fire but the tacos are alright I guess nothing special. If you're looking for a good burrito come try them out but if you're looking for tacos or maybe a torta then I would go somewhere else. The area is in a small space and it sometimes can get packed on weekends but they try their best to get the food out. Service is nice tho. read more

Wow I've tried TRUE al pastor tacos only found in Mexico FYI but as soon as I saw the spinning stack of al pastor meat at Jalisco I had to try it I got 2 tacos and I had their LEGENDARY AL PASTOR QUESADILLA!! Wow be prepared for flavor cause it's full of it. Also was very happy to see how they bag all the sides so even Covid is here I can still get all my favorite grilled onions, limes, cilantro, salsa, with sanitary conditions. I have always looked for good street tacos that have that Mexican authentic touch and taste. These tacos at this place are as close as I'll ever be to Mexico on a regular basis. I have had all their tacos, lengua, al pastor, tripas, buche you name it. They are all good. The place is clean. The veggies and salsa are always fresh. They have sautéed onions and bean stew to add to your plate. Omg. It's bomb! (Am I allowed to say bomb?). Anyway. The horchata is amazing. The lemonade with cucumber is not my thing but hey, I don't have to drink it lol. The burritos are awesome!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes if I'm not too hungry I'll have 5 tacos. Other times if I'm starving I'll have a burrito and be super satisfied. And for $5.50 I'm sure to keep on going there every time my bank account approaches insolvency. And even when I get my paycheck I'll still go because the food is BOMB! I like the music. Sometimes I go there because they play rap with the profanity and all. You gotta go there past 11pm to hear that tho. All the kids are asleep. Except for mine. But then again my kids and I listen to Eminem a lot. So we love the place. This is by far the best taco truck I've been to. I'm a regular customer and I cannot stop coming back for more. Everything they offer is amazing. They have some of the best asada I've ever had. I love when it is a little crispy but still juicy and they always cook it like that. I usually get an asada burrito and it never disappoints. It has all the right stuff in there that I never need to add anything else to it except for salsa because their salsa is amazing. I have tried many other taco trucks but this is still my favorite one. The employees are always nice as well which is a plus. It tends to get busy a lot but their service is still fast and efficient.
