What has happened to this place? The food is lacking flavor and the Customer service is rude. I ordered my usual, carne asada tacos and clarified that they do add onions. She snapped 'of course' and asked if I wanted red or green salsa, I chose red. I was given my food (8 tacos I. 3 boxes: 3-3-2) and charged for 3 small containers of salsa at 50 cents each! Unbelievable! 2 of these containers measured 2 ounces and 1 measured 1 ounce. There was no sauce any of the tacos, just meat and cabbage and cilantro: no lemon or lime, no onions, no radish, no sauce. These tacos were not cheap, they were bland and tasteless, the only taste added was from that expensive container of sauce. I tried to ask her why I was being charged for 'Extra Sauce' per her sign when I never had sauce to begin with on the tacos so how could I have had extra. She refused to respond, took a call, and turned her back on me. This is not the same place as it was when Francis was there. This long time customer will never be back. read more

This place is a go-to when we need a burrito fix. The only complaint I may have is that the salsa is way too hot. I don't know about you, but I like to taste my food. So I just ask for the salsa on the side. So it may not be a valid complaint, I just don't have any critique to give. read more

Typically this place is 5 stars. Today it was 2. I came in at about 8:15, 11/30/19 ordered 2 tacos, a burrito, and nachos. When I received my food I asked for 2 red sauces like I usually do. The woman with tattoos on her hands said she has to charge me. I told her this has never happened before. No sauce was on my burrito or tacos. I always get it on the side. She wasn't having it. She gave me one when she realized no sauce was on my burrito, but I wanted one for my tacos as well. The sign clearly says "Extra sauce 50c." How can I get extra sauce if I never even got any in the first place? I come in about 3-4x a month. I've never experienced this problem before. Can someone please retrain her? Best tacos ever and the sopes are freshly made that why they take a little longer but worth the wait.

I had made arrangements for them to have a truck come to an event at the Ag Center in Tulare for two days from 8:30 to 4;30. On Saturday they packed up and left around 11:00 without saying anything because "someone" said there were only 10 people there, when in reality there were 68 contestants plus numerous spectators. They never went in the building to check or ask anyone that was in charge. They had my phone number and the phone number of my daughter but never tried to call. Many people were looking for them to purchase food and drinks. As soon as I got the call that they had left I contacted Erika at their store to try and get them to come back, but they never called back. I would not recommend them for anything. read more

This is a little hole in the wall shop with covered outdoor seating. They have excellent street tacos and carne asada burritos. Not the best neighborhood, but many of the best little restaurants are in sketchy places. I brought my entire family, and there are lots of us, here the other day and everyone loved it. This place is Horrible!!! It deserves a negetive -5 stars TBH! I went in to order, they had a pile of cooked carne al pastor just sitting on the grill. It looked like it was getting reheated to not go bad. I should've known then to just walk right out. I order a 3 taco plate rice and beans. 2 de Asada & 1 de carnitas. I asked with no salsa. When I got home they all had salsa. There was hardly any meat and the meat it did have tasted horrible. The carnitas tasted like the heated it up in the microwave!! I work across the tracks in downtown Tulare. I have never had to dodge tattooed gang bangers.The food is good. It may be pre made but it is fresh. We have had them bring their trailer and cater lunch at our office. Gingo warning... The red chili sauce is hot! Opt for it on the side or get the green sauce. If your hungry... Get more tacos they are cheap! Or get the taco plate with rice and beans. These are traditional tacos with just meat onion and cilantro, its not Taco Bell. Its one star but because I can't give it less than that and the reason is the rude girl taking the order like it bothered her we got there when she was cleaning. According to this they are open till 10:30pm so why all this attitude when it's barely 9:30pm.. ok so she probably wanted to leave early and we kept them from closing early. Being on business and hungry made for a good combination when we 'yelped' the laughing taco or Taco Riendo as it known. My honey and I are foodies and tend to be cynics when it comes to fast Mexican food. We were pleased by the quality of the food and cleanliness of the restuarant. The salsas were spicy and tasty and the variety of meats: carne asada, carnitas, chicken, and some the more ethnic specialties lengua, tripas and more. Burritos, street style tacos tortas (sandwiches),sopes(small thick tostadas). All this talk of their food is making me hungry, I can't wait to go back. read more

I was told by one of my co-workers that this was the BEST place in town. Although being a gringo is problem in this area, I went anyway. After dodging three tattoo'd gang bangers, I went in and ordered three taco's. The lady making the food was very skimpy on the onions and celantro, I had to ask for extra. Prices are good. Flavor was ok, but I'm wondering why my co-worker thought these were the best taco's. They are not. Their good, but not the best. I came with an appetite, and left with utter disappointment. So I came with high hopes with what I have read from the reviews only to find that the food wasn't as good as advertised. I ordered the Carne asada tacos which i have had better at the other taco stand a couple of blocks away. Although the service is fast, the food is put together with the ingredients previously made and kept warm. No knowing how long its been there. Don't be fooled by the inside seating. My wife & I had Taco Riendo cater our wedding. Everything was ready on time and everyone of my guests (230 people) had more than enough!
