Came in on a Saturday after exploring Kings Canyon national park. Half the restaurant was full and we were seated right away. Our server was very nice and took the order and answered all our questions. Got the Reina tostada: 4 stars. Not as acidic as I would like but a couple of lemons fixed that. Plenty of seafood and tomatoes and cucumbers. Fried fish with shrimp/pulpo on top: 4 stars. Husband devoured this. Plenty of seafood on top of fried fish. Really 2 people could eat it. Same with my tostada. Horchata : 5 stars. One of the best horchata I've had as far as flavors goes. Music was lively and playing the whole ti Restroom was very clean which was appreciated.

Mariscos El Camaron Borracho serves some of the meanest tostadas in town. The portions were impressive and the seafood was fresh. Service was very friendly and they consistently came to check on our party. The food took quite some time to come out, possibly due to one of the dishes being cooked. =ORDERED= We were immediately served house made chips and salsa. The salsa was bright with some mild heat. The chips were a bit tough and tasted like they were sitting out for a while. *Especialidad Tostada Reina: comes with mayonnaise, fish, shrimp, crab, octopus and abalone. They offered a version without the mayonnaise which I opted for. The tostada was crispy and topped high with acidic seafood. Everything was bouncy and seasoned well. The shrimp, fish and octopus made up the majority of the mix so I might get the mixta version in the future. *Filete a la Plancha: looked exactly liked the pictures, coming with a side salad, 2 pieces of grilled whitefish, rice and beans. The fish was on the saltier side and the beans were flavorful. The salad was limp and not very fresh. A well balanced combo but the taste paled in comparison to the other dishes. *Botana Estilo Toron: a perfect shareable was easily shared between three people. Came with shrimp, octopus and scallops. The seasoning was more bland than that of the tostada so I supplemented with their vast number of sauces. I loved the textures of all the seafood regardless. *Oysters Preparados: loved the ceviche topping. The oysters themselves were very cold and had little ocean taste. Would have preferred to have some of the natural brine but the overall 2-biter was flavorful from the ceviche. Definitely would get these again. I would stick to their raw options in the future and hopefully that would fix the slower service too. The cooked fish had good flavor but it didn't have the zest and oomph that their other specialties had.

Tostada de aguachiles

We found this place through Yelp passing through on our way down the 99. We originally were going to a different place but they only had outdoor seating, this was our 2nd choice because it was a little further away from the freeway but I'm so glad that it was 107 outside because we would have missed out on this gem! We had a cocktail de camarón, an tostada de aguachiles and menudo with granitos, and the flavors were on point! Service was super, waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall great experience!

First time here, service was super fast. Waitress was friendly & attentive. Food was great! I didn't care for the rice, I don't like the veggies in it. Oysters were a little too warm for my liking.. The Michi was good, good flavoring. It wasn't packed so it was quiet than most Mexican restaurants. I definitely will be returning!

If you're wondering why a little Mexican seafood joint in Tulare, California, has a perfect 5-star rating, I'm about to tell you. That rating was enough to bring me in the door and the place definitely lives up to the hype. We came in because we were visiting town and needed to try a new experience. Just the thought of shrimp, much less drunken shrimp, has my mouth watering. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall but is very nice inside. I was immediately impressed by the service. The woman who helped us was very nice and patient and answered all our questions about our to-go order. SHe even came over twice while we were waiting to clarify details in our complex request. The food took a while to come out, but when it did there was a gentleman who opened each box and described the contents to make sure we were satisfied with both the quality and accuracy of the order. They really went above and beyond in making sure we were happy. As for the food, it was a home run. The shrimp, seafood and birria tacos were all very tasty, especially when paired with the house salsa and the very hit but delicious creamy green salsa. My wife absolutely loved the giant wet burrito with chicken that she ordered. I've had plenty of hit-or-miss experiences with so-called authentic Mexican eateries in this area. Most don't live up to the hype. Mariscos El Camaron Borracho does thanks to great food and even better service.

The restaurant is very clean, the service was wonderful and the food is delicious! I was craving a fried fish and this did not disappoint! My husband had the Birria Plate but I did not take a picture of it. He thoroughly enjoyed it. We were served chips and salsa with our drinks and the chips were warm and crispy and the salsa was spicy and fresh. My Mojarra came with a side salad, beans and rice and hand-made corn tortillas We will definitely be back to try other dishes from here.

Food had good flavor. I got the Camarones y Pulpo al Coronel. I am not big on Micheladas, but that michelada had good taste. My wife got the Camarones El Rey, and she said it was good as well. Daughter didnt really care for the chicken nuggets. Service was good. The lady was nice. Business seemed a little slow, so it was chill inside.

This place is amazing. From the servers, to the food. This place is an absolute must for seafood lovers. Annette and Carlos made us feel welcomed, and gave us spectacular service. The Molcajete is TO DIE FOR. The Michelada Borracho is a must as well.

One on my favorite restaurants to go to here in town. Food is delicious and service is always great.

So, I had high hopes for this place, but overall it was a bit of a letdown. I ordered 8 tacos (6…read moreasada, 1 chorizo, 1 chicharrón), 1 burrito, and 1 crunchy asada taco. The asada tacos actually had decent flavor -- although the meat was a little on the salty side. Not a deal breaker, but noticeable. The chorizo taco? Honestly, tasted just like the kind you buy at any grocery store and cook at home -- nothing special at all. I was hoping for that rich, house-made taste, but nope. The chicharrón taco was probably the most disappointing -- it was basically a cuerito taco. No real meat, just soft skin, so not what I was expecting. But what really killed the experience for me was the salsa situation. They gave me just two small containers of salsa for everything. The red one was tasty, and the green one was basic but good -- but come on, two little salsas for 8 tacos and a burrito? No limes, no radishes, nothing to help bring the tacos together. We ended up trying to ration the salsa, and without enough, the tacos felt dry. Everyone knows a taco needs to have that salsa dripping down and a good squeeze of lime to really come alive -- otherwise, it's just meat on a tortilla. I'm giving it 3 stars because the asada tacos had potential. But the overall execution, especially the lack of salsa and sides, really brought the meal down. Probably won't be rushing back.

Theeeee place for tacos, period. Everything is so fresh and homemade. Don't walk, run to this…read moreamazing Taqueria. Never disappoints!

It wasn't too much of a wait, but my burrito was Luke Warm when I got home. It was super thicc and heavy, it felt loaded! Then I took a bite and it was a big glob of guac with a lil meat at the end lol. The meat wasn't really flavored and same with the rice, everything felt more mushy together than working together. Then I started hitting cartilage and chunks of fat and it kind of killed the burrito wanting mood lol. I understand it's a "hit and miss"sometimes, but it didn't help that we waited behind that guy and then I get this lol. Still absolutely loved the salsas, they do have Habanero upon request along with the red and green. Green is the best! Love to come back and get another wet burrito. Maybe having the sauce with the added side salad makes the burrito taste better to me lol.
