I didn't even plan to use that card for the balance but they charged it anyway and they even took the money for the glass shelves that are still not installed. I had a great feeling about this company initially and was highly disappointed in their customer service and delivery timeline - not to mention using my charge card info to bill the balance without permission when the job isn't even completed.

I tried resetting it but it again slipped. A little Google poking around suggested the hinge gaskets were likely due for replacement and after figuring out who made the hinges, the maker suggested to me that I reach out to Atlantic for replacement gaskets as the hinge maker does not sell replacement parts directly to consumers. Over the course of a number of emails back and forth, the right model of gaskets needed were discerned and I picked them up as well as was provided with some installation tips and plastic shims typically needed for a grand total of $20. Atlantic's service was so good on such a small sale on an original installation it probably did not do that I brought along some bakery treats as a thank you.

No one greeted us or even acknowledged us until we approached them and asked for assistance. Despite that, their pricing seemed reasonable, so we decided to move forward. I regret that decision. I was given two kitchen layout/options, selected Option A, confirmed it, and paid. Option A included two custom doors that we had discussed repeatedly and that their measurer specifically measured for. Weeks later, I discovered the two custom doors had not been properly ordered. Instead of taking accountability, I was told this was somehow my fault because I didn't "confirm again" after I had already selected and confirmed Option A. Even more frustrating, I was then told that I never ordered custom doors at all--despite discussing them during multiple meetings, having their employee measure for them, selecting the option that included them, and actually receiving one custom-height door with my order, just in the wrong width. Mistakes happen. What makes this experience unacceptable is the complete lack of accountability, disrespectful communication, and attempt to place responsibility on the customer rather than correct their own error. DO NOT work with this company. A lower price is not worth the aggravation, disrespect, and unprofessionalism. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

We looked at Norfolk Kitchens, DK&M, and both Home Depot and Lowe's. The latter 2 being the low…read moreball options. Norfolk and DK&M came in within 10% of each other. Surprisingly the low ball option were t so low. We chose DK&M after looking at reviews and remodels they've done. What was essentially a new cabinet project turned into a much bigger job with a wall separating the kitchen and dining area knocked down and a large opening cut in the wall separating the kitchen and living area. We went with a cabinet design from Waypoint that while a standard cabinet are proving to be solid and well manufactured. DK&M (Bill Reed) explained the process and timeline very well and then met the timeline exactly. We replaced the range and microwave as part of the project. Given this was done between January and March 2020 eg COVID time we were surpassingly unaffected by material issues and in fact most vendors were ahead of schedule. They partner with Envy Remodeling and the team Rob sent in was top notch. Very professional, on time , and excellent at their jobs. I did some rough analysis of material and labor costs and based on the hours spent onsite and similar big box store cabinet prices we feel it was a fair project cost. Looking back it was a very smooth process with no drama. We would highly recommend this team for any remodeling job.
