When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the server. After looking at the menu for a while, I narrowed the options to the Turkey bacon club or the Beyond Burger. I asked the server which she thought I should get, she said the club. I chose the burger. Should have listened to her. The brioche was hard, no mayo or anything, so I was already disappointed. The burger patty was dry and way overcooked. It came with this HUGE onion slice. Unnecessary. The fries were soggy and completely void of seasoning. For $15, the entire meal was a miss. I would try this place again, but I would change my order completely. There are so many restaurants in that area to choose from, so maybe they make good toast. Or jam. Do not recommend at this time.

The food was good, but the service was what really made my day. My cousin and I enjoyed a breakfast of migas and chicken and waffles. It's good - not OHMYGODWRITEHOME good, but still pleasant. Parking is easy and in a huge lot, and the space was bright and welcoming. Service was very prompt, and she was so incredibly kind and like a ninja with everything she did. The food, like I said, is good. My chicken was pounded very thin and it was tender. However, there is one (albeit large) thin piece. It was more like a schnitzel than "fried chicken" and it is chicken breast, not thighs. Overall, it's a fantastic place to grab a quick bite and socialize. Portions are generous and it won't break the bank. Plus, you will have a fantastic service experience.

I finally was able to try Jam + Toast! I group of us went for a birthday lunch during the week, so thankfully, there wasn't a line out the door. We did have to wait about 5 minutes for a big enough table to accommodate us all. The large tables had only two sitting at them- not sure why they did that. Once we all ordered, we began the waiting game. One side order would be served. An entree... then another person's side of pancakes. The orders were staggered by at least 5 minutes each, so it was uncomfortable. I personally hate eating food that has gone cold, so I encouraged them to eat whatever had already been delivered. Why not bring out the entire order at the same time? I ordered the tuna melt sandwich with French fries. The sandwich was decent, but I have honestly made better at home. It was quite bland. The fries were lukewarm. When we were leaving, I noticed the wall next to the door had paint ripped off for some reason. I mean, they close early, so why couldn't that have been fixed? Will I return? Most likely, no. High prices and poor service with mediocre food. Bummer!

We were on the search for a new breakfast place. Just dropping our son at DFW, there were ton of options. We decided on Jam & Toast. The parking lot was shared by other businesses, so many spots were available. We were greeted when we walked in and were immediately seated. Hubby had Eggs Benedict and I had pecan waffle and hash browns with grilled onions. I also ordered a side of bacon. They offered lattes which was a plus. Hubby said his meal was ok. The eggs were overcooked. Hash browns were not quite done. Maybe an off day. He loved his latte. My breakfast was ok. Good waffle. Huge! Bacon perfect. Hash browns (requested crispy) with grilled onions had purple onions. Never had it prepared like this. Not a fan. Coffee was nice an strong. Never an empty cup. It was super clean. Jennifer, our server, was attentive and was very nice. Total was $51. Might be back. Enjoy the photos.

Ambiance was refreshing, clean and neatly organized. The service was great can't complain. The young lady was attentive, even suggested some of customer's favorite dishes, since it was our first time. Definitely recommend it, the portions were great, taste was on point. Absolutely amazing!!! I've passed this place for years on my way to work but finally decided to stop in. I was definitely surprised! The staff was very nice, helpful & answered all my questions. Now, let's get to the food (rubs hands together). The pancakes were fluffy and had an intoxicating flavor, all were married correctly. The bacon was cooked crispy but not burnt and not soaked in grease. Finally, the jam...paying $2.25 for a smidge of jam is insane, I didn't take points off because purchasing that was a side quest (if I did it would be a 3). I will definitely go back.

My partner and I had a very short wait on a busy game day morning. Every staff member was upbeat and kind. We ordered the breakfast burrito, chicken & waffles and the banana Nutella pancakes. The pancakes and hash browns with the burrito were my faves.

Food has no flavor. It's cute for ig pics at most. But food has no seasoning, fries were literally just fried no salt no pepper. I got the avocado burger and the patty had no flavor. The Oreo pancake was not even sweet. Just no flavor overall. These damn TikTok influencers just lying to yall. Our waitress was very sweet though.

Great brunch experience on the patio at this location. We started with a Nutella crepe with bananas, and finished with the BIGGEST Order of breakfast tacos I have ever had! Our server was so kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

Lots of good things to say about this breakfast/ brunch spot in Irving Texas. The service was friendly and the food was fresh and came out pretty quick for a party is six. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though seating is tight inside. Our party had the Banana Nutella french toast, the Triple Crown Skillet, the Chicken and Waffle, the Crispy Chicken Salad and the Bacon Cheeseburger. All of it was fantastic and delivered just as ordered. The price is a little high for breakfast but considering flavors it was worth it.

This restaurant is in walking distance of my apartment and I have passed it at least 100 times. Today, I finally decided to visit for breakfast. I had been going to a different place on O'Connor close to my office. However, the wait time for my food last week was long and I wanted a new experience. Hayley was AMAZING! Very attentive. She made sure my order was correct. She ensured my coffee didn't run low. She was pleasant to talk to. She was efficient and provided exceptional service. So, I tipped her 33%. The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. The portion sizes are larger than what I'm used to. I'll be eating my leftovers tomorrow morning before work. I'll definitely return to this establishment soon. read more

I guess I don't quite understand the hype behind this place. The food was tasty, but not worth waiting in a 30+ min line on the weekends. In our group, we ordered eggs hollandaise, skillet scramble, and pancakes. The food came out in less than 5 minutes, which could actually be both a good and bad sign. I really liked the hollandaise sauce, as it was clearly inundated with butter. The pancakes and skillet were good, but nothing that I couldn't order from Waffle House. Overall, would I return? Yes I would, but only if it was an outing that another friend wanted to go to, and on a weekday. read more

Was able to be seated right away on a Friday morning around 9am. Their menu is extensive so I wanted to try so many things! I finally settled on the breakfast burrito with bacon, a side of fruit and a side of biscuits and sausage gravy. I also ordered coffee and orange juice. My sister ordered huevos rancheros. The waitress came back and told me they were out of orange juice. Not sure if it's fresh squeezed or what. There was nothing spectacular about this place but it wasn't bad either. I will say that I'm VERY picky about my biscuits and gravy and the sausage gravy was pretty good with added salt and pepper. read more

This is a traditional breakfast experience in the las Colinas area. The place is quite bright and clean. The staff is friendly and very polite. I ordered the Alamo omlette and eggs Florentine. The food was good, the service was great . Our toddler was making a mess with his pancakes but the staff was kind enough to help us keep the place clean . Came here this morning and food was great. The pancakes are fantastic with their warm syrup. If you come on the weekends beware of a wait time but it's worth it in my opinion. Great experience all around. Told us it was going to be 20 minutes and it was more like 10. Ashley was our server and from the get go so was amazing! Good personality and very friendly. I asked Ashley to pick out an item for me out of the Tex Mex Skillet and the Berry Bliss French Toast and she brought out both. I know some people might not like that but they were both so good I had no problem with it. The food came out so quickly and all of it was delicious. I ordered the Berry Bliss French Toast & all I have to say is: you know it's damn good when you don't need any butter or maple syrup to eat the whole thing! I had breakfast here this past Monday. The service was excellent! The problem I had was the food was not hot...it was warm. I like my food hot so I took a star off for that. I had an omelette, grits and biscuits. They were all good. I also asked for a taste of one of their jams. I had the Mango haberno I didn't think it was very good. You get a small dab of it for over $2 so I took another star off. I was a little disappointed due to all the hype about this place. It's good but I've had better! read more

Once again, my fellow Yelpers didn't steer me wrong! In search of a hearty breakfast with which to fuel my drive back to Houston, Yelp led me to this local eatery. Migas is a go-to for me, and theirs were top drawer. Fresh eggs, ample jalapenos, corn chips and chorizo (added for a nominal extra charge) served with homemade salsa, black beans, hash browns and tortillas. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. Just what the doctor ordered! I've already shared this recommendation with a few local friends, and I look forward to returning during a future visit to DFW. read more

I rarely get blown away by breakfast. This was a real threat. I had the sausage skillet with plenty of eggs and veggies over the potatoes. Enough food for two people so I was enable to finish it. The pancakes included were light and fluffy. They were so good that syrup was unnecessary! read more

This is hands down one of my favorite brunch places in the area. The service is fast, the coffee is strong, and the food is made exactly how you ask for it. I've never had a bad experience at this location or the other one a little further south on hwy 114. It does t get really busy on a Sunday until after about 9am if you show before then you are unlikely to have to wait! read more

Such an amazing place! Service was great and the atmosphere really nice. Food truly delicious, I had the Huevos Rancheros and they allowed me to substitute the meat with chorizo. This might be the best breakfast spot we've been to in years. There is a wait, but they bring your food out piping hot MINUTES after your table orders and the food is great! Also, very reasonably priced, especially considering the huge portions... I wish they had more locations because this place is the JAM. :) Tip: Ask for the hash browns crispy. Trust me. read more

We're visiting the area to drop our daughter at college and came across this restaurant on Yelp as we wanted to take her to breakfast after her volleyball practice. So glad we stopped by. The food was fresh and so good. It only took 15 minutes to get seated even though we came close to 10am and the service was great! Do not throw away your receipt!! I ordered a classic american breakfast to go which I paid $17 and some change and my credit card transaction was $25.40. I threw away my receipt, so that is my fault. No integrity at this restaurant to whoever change the tip amount in my receipt. I will not order anything from this restaurant anymore. read more

This place has French toast with berries, chicken apple sausage, chocolate pancakes, and somehow they figured out how to make it all taste like cardboard. I got the Irving Skillet and it tasted like whoever threw it together never heard of seasoning or anything with flavor period. The ingredients were bland. I had to drench it in salt pepper and Cholula to get something that had taste. My kid got chocolate pancakes that were like a malty cardboard tasting syrup. French toast with berries was neither sweet or refreshing. Staff was great, but this place is missing the mark on flavor. Not sure why it is so busy other than maybe folks haven't gotten their sense of taste and smell back from COVID. read more

I'd give this place 1/10. I ordered an omelette and I'm not sure what I was served, that's how horrible it was. My husband's hash browns were cooked hard like French fries and we waited 10 min for more undercooked hash browns. The manger came over and said" what do you need" vs how can I help you?! Our server, Crystal (according to the receipt) only came by twice. She didn't realize my food was overcooked and that we didn't have silverware because she never came back after taking our order. My friend had to get up to find silverware. The hostess helped us out, but the first set we were given was dirty so he actually had to get up again to get another one. We took about 30 minutes to finish up our meal and then waited for a while for our server to pop back up and offer us the check. $68 for 2 people and poor service. Not cool! -- My meal yesterday (also brunch) was so much more enjoyable, all around the same price point and in the same area. Bruncheon disappointed me on all counts - quality, service, and atmosphere.

The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The pie filling was bright, punchy, and deliciously creamy. And to top it all off the toasted meringue was no too sweet and added an extra texture that made this dessert absolutely decadent. The quality and quantity of the food here for the price was fantastic and we will definitely be back. The surrounding area is cute too. Overall a great spot I'd highly recommend.

I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. In a food establishment, that feels deeply unhygienic and off-putting. 1/5 stars -- a strong start with the appetizer, but the main course and overall experience completely missed the mark.

My knife slammed against the plate with every forceful push, a stark contrast to the fresh, flaky biscuit I had anticipated, particularly given the homemade jams prominently advertised on the wall. To add to my disappointment, I had no prior indication of how much jam I would receive for $2.25, leaving me uncertain about its value. In hindsight, I was relieved I didn't spend that money, considering the biscuit's rock-hard texture. The portion size for my country breakfast, priced at $13.55, felt less than generous. The meal consisted of a single biscuit topped with lukewarm sausage and gravy, accompanied by a side of tepid hashbrowns and two eggs. Stopped by Jam + Toast with my bestie during a layover in Dallas, and it was a great choice for breakfast! We were seated pretty quickly after walking in, which was nice. Our server was very friendly, welcoming, and gave us some great recommendations from the menu. I ordered an omelet, and I really enjoyed it. My best friend got the pancakes. She mentioned they were a little smaller than she expected, but she still thought they tasted really good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with good music playing in the background, and it felt like a great family-friendly spot. Overall, we had a good experience and enjoyed our meal. I went to this place for brunch today. As in new to the area, I've really been looking for a good place for brunch, not just food wise, but also service wise. I'm really big on service, and I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked in the door! The hostess was very welcoming and kind! While I was there, the service was more than I would ever expect! Popped in here for breakfast on my recent trip to Dallas. My aunt and uncle love the place. I was very impressed. There was a pretty good line of people waiting when we got there but the wait wasnt long. They really know how to move people in and out. Super clean place with friendly, hard working staff. Hardest part was deciding what to get! The menu is pretty big with something for every taste. Food came out quick and was absolutely fantastic. Ill 100% be back the next time im in town read more
