This was our 2nd stay at Shoreline and once again, we absolutely loved it! From the 1st email I…read moresent inquiring about rates to check-out at the end of our vacation.. we were treated like family! Everyone was so accommodating and friendly! While service is a huge component, the location is fantastic! There are so many hotels on the beach, but they aren't nearly as close to the water. We fell asleep at night to the sound of the waves and woke in the morning to watch the dolphins splashing in the gulf. The room was spacious and allowed us to make lunches and snacks without stepping all over each other and the beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. Once again, an amazing experience at Shoreline Island Resort. We will be bac

Absolutely Filthy room - there was a help wanted sign outside, for a cleaning person...and I am…read moresure that the current cleaners do NOT know how. After staying here, I just cannot understand how this Hotel got good ratings. You can see the pics below to see what we stayed in. Upon arrival, there was bacon on the counter, the stove was NEVER cleaned. The toilet had brown crude inside and brown drips out. The fire sprinkler, overhead, was filled with gunk and dust...hopefully it would work if need be. The door to get out onto the balcony constantly stuck and I had to muscle the heck out of it to get it to open. The toaster was filthy & there were dead bugs on the ceiling. I tried to book elsewhere, but everything was full. I tried to relax, but could not because I knew what was around me. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable...and I stayed out of the room all of the time. The Coffee Pot popped the room breaker twice...and when the 2nd maintenance man came in (the 1st one didn't even know where the circuit breaker was), it actually sparked. He replaced the coffee pot with one that was covered in dust and dirt...I didn't use it. Did anyone EVER teach these people how to clean. The pics prove to me that they do not care about the rooms. There were many more things than presented here, dust on everthing, carpets not vacuumed - - but I just cannot waste anymore time on this. Each time I went to the front des, I was not even greeted, and the people behind the desk did not really seem to care...and why should I have to complain. This room should have been clean for me. Isn't that what I am paying for???

A beautiful location and lovely hotel!…read more After being in West Palm and Fort Myers earlier in the week, my fiancé decided to book us one final night right on the beach before heading back to the Midwestern tundra. When I say this hotel is right on the beach, I am not exaggerating. It is RIGHT on the beach, with a private access through the pool and patio area. It was quiet, clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed walking right out onto the beach, and the beach was not busy at all! We were able to find a sand dollar and some shells. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk team was very friendly, and the lady who checked us in offered us a top floor with a great view. I would 1000% stay here again!

We had a warm welcome from Kayla at the front desk and a very efficient and informative check-in. Really nice smile and genuine hospitality. If you are in a studio, one bedroom, or two bedroom, you have one car pass for the group. If you have a three bedroom, then you can receive two car passes. Due to its small footprint, parking is limited but sufficient. And the room was absolutely spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and everything was in working order. Very comfortable and a cool respite from the unrelentless sun. When leaving the unit, it is recommended to always draw the blackouts to help conserve the energy and the AC's function. You'll be glad you did. We did not get a chance to utilize the pool, but it looked like it was being put to good use with lots of happy people. It was easy to walk out to the beach so we utilized the beach every day of our stay. The hotel is easily walkable to John's pass Village and all the restaurants and shops there. The breakfast served each morning was fresh and tasty and always well-attended by the hotel guests. I would recommend getting there earlier versus later to avoid the crowds (7-10 AM). In addition to Kayla, Gavin was quite friendly and helpful at the front desk. All around, the the associates we encountered in any of the areas of the resort were engaged and interactive with the customers. Quite a guest-centric team. Remember to take your room key with you anytime departing your unit as it is required to enter both the beachside building as well as the front desk/lobby building. A 10 out of 10 stay!!!

If you can get a unit in this bldg. you get a full on gulf view which was awesome. This is not a fancy place and they don't claim to be. I was a bit worried when I got there and while older, the unit could not have been cleaner. The one br living area is very large. Bathroom is fine. Bedroom is just to sleep and the window and outer wall faces the hallway. There is a pullout sofa and a Murphy bed in the living room. Kitchen had all appliances needed. Washers & Dryers onsite were free. There is a pool that I didn't use since the beach is so nice. Overall a great location, just a few blocks to Johns Pass with plenty of shops and restaurants. Lots to do in the area.

A lot of families and older people. I left a sock in the dryer and someone returned it to the laundry room for me to find it. I was waiting for a washer and the guy that was using it came looking for me to tell me it was open. When in our room, we had the door open all the time, and enjoyed the wonderful ocean breeze. The people around the pool are chatty, friendly or they keep to themselves. The large hot tub made it easy to distance from other people. The property is on the beach with easy access and an outdoor shower. They have some items you can borrow for the sand too. Each room has a reserved parking spot with a few visitor spots available as well. Your must checkin with the office for a pass. There is an elevator but easy enough to use the stairs. The room was comfy enough with extra towels under the sink. If you are spoiled, like me, bring your own pillow. We had a problem with the TV remote and the maintenance guy was quick to come try to fix it. It was the remote itself and he didn't know how to reprogram but he tried (We took care of it) when he brought us a new one. The laundry is free, but bring your own soap pods. We were nicely stocked with staples in the kitchen with only spending $100 at Trader Joe's (including wine and coffee). The office will give you dish soap, sponge, and some dishwasher tabs. Also coffee filters. Great place and location. Hope we get to visit again.
