Love the food but they are SLOWWWW. There's no chairs in the place and they take so long customers just leave. So bring your patience.

The portion size is perfect for me--either a light snack over a couple of days or something I finish in one sitting depending on my mood. The location is consistently clean, and every time I go around noon it's never too crowded, which makes pickup quick and easy. Overall, it's a reliable spot with a smooth ordering process and consistent experience, which keeps me coming back.

I was then askes if I wantes 12 oz, 24oz or 32oz? I never knew they changed. The 12 oz doesnt come with, granola, honey and coconut. Each addition would cost $.75 extra with the 12oz. Therefore, I got the 24oz and finished it all. The acai bowl was delicious. The only issue was the staff (2 females and 1 male) were very loudly talking and laughing. One female took her hair down and put it back up while in the food prep area. There was a customer waiting at the cash register and the crew continued conversing and not even greeting. At some point the female went to take the order. Other than the lack of control with being very loud, my bowl was great. They also sell soups, and fresh juices. Dont worry about parking as there is plenty of parking space.

I have never seen a place run so poorly. The only reason this Tropical Smoothie deserves even one…read morestar is because of the girl working in the front who was literally doing EVERYTHING by herself. She was taking orders, making food, handling customers, and somehow still stayed polite through the chaos. She made the best food and was the only competent person there. Meanwhile, the manager Jawad was nowhere to be found while one employee was clearly overwhelmed with no support at all. The rest of the staff acted completely useless and unprofessional. Watching one person carry the entire restaurant while everyone else stood around doing nothing was honestly embarrassing. Corporate seriously needs to reevaluate who they're hiring and managing because the hardworking front worker deserves a raise, support, and recognition- Not to be left alone to run the whole store while everyone else brings the place down!!!!!!!!!

I came to this location to get my normal bowl and had issues with the app being able to apply my…read morereward for my free 24oz smoothie. So I placed the order for the bowl anyways. When arriving to the store I saw my order and grabbed my bag. I waited a moment at the counter while an employee was preparing thing infront of me. I informed her of the issue I was having and had questions. She was very rude off the bat. I informed her that I placed my order online and was picking up, but was having issues with the app and still needed to order my smoothie. Her response was "I'm confused, so what's the problem if you have your order, do you want to order or not " in a passive aggressive tone. I went on to explain the same thing all over again. She then said "I don't know anything about the app but that doesn't seem to be my problem, ask the customer in line behind you". I then paused, turned and looked at the customer behind me, then turned to look at this woman again, and walked out! When I get in the car, I look at the bowl that I had just picked up (pictured on the right), and was even more angered and upset then I was with the horrible service I received. I drove to my home location which is the Nottingham store. I went in and the manager happened to be waiting on me. I explained my original issue and then informed him how I was treated at the Cockeysville store. This man was amazing. Really turned my frown upside down. He's probably the entire reason that I am still a customer for this company as whole. I purchased another bowl (same one I got at the previous location) and he discounted my smoothie, bc even he couldn't get the reward that was showing to be applied. He did go through my previous orders to verify that it had not been already redeemed. He was very apologetic and said that I am not the only customer that has had an issue with the reward not being able to be applied. I took a side my side photo of both bowls purchased and you can 100% tell a difference. (Nottinghams bowl pictured on the left) Not only in the presentation, but in quantity as well. After it was all said and done done, I wasted money on buying another bowl and am out of two of the free smoothies that were supposed to be earned. I have worked in Customer Service and the food industry for many years. From a dishwasher at the bottom to management at the top. I have never been treated this way as a customer from any company and I'm 39 years old. I am partially disabled and on a fixed limited income. I dont go to BK or McDonalds, or even Smoothie King. I choose to spend the little bit of extra money I do have on treating myself to Tropical Smoothie. But I can absolutely tell you, if it wasn't for the kindness of the manager at the Nottingham location, this company would have lost my service completely. I won't be going to Cockeysville for ANYTHING after that experience. If you don't like your job, find another one. You never know what people are going through. Something as simple as a smile or good customer service can make a customers day. But it can also be the straw that broke the camels back too. Such a disappointment this visit was.

We were greeted and pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the wide selection of options. This is a smoothie place BUT also so much more than that! They offer things like fresh smoothies, fresh lemonades in a bunch of awesome flavors, smoothie bowls, and even crepes. The place itself is really nice and positive inside. They have positivity in everything from the colors they use in their decor and even their counter has saying posted to brighten your day all over it. I was curious about this so we asked more about this place and were both surprised and delighted by the answers we got from staff. This place started as a food truck five years ago that turned into a physical location about three years ago that is one of one. What makes it such a wonderful place is they work with special needs individuals and they also have them intern at this place. That's such a wonderful thing as someone who mentors someone with special needs and has a wife that works with individuals with autism that means a lot to us. My wife is pregnant with our son and we can't wait to bring him here :) we also can't wait to return to try other options. We even thought about the having the person I mentor intern here for some life experience/fun environments. They have 9 different dirty sodas and they come in 24oz (we'd love smaller size options and flights options if possible! We wanted to try all the flavors) They also have games for you to play while they make your items. I love that they asked for and value feedback and are stoaked with giving recommendations which I asked for and genuinely care about what you think and wanted to make sure you are happy with your items. This was a 10 outta 10 experience for us. Well done guys! - SupaFlyITGuy approved! We loved our choices of purple haze and Dr. Mash and my Joplin smoothie

Many business owners think about their products and services from the perspective of a provider or…read morevendor. Not the customer. Here's some advice: Walk through your business the way a customer would. How do they enter your space or navigate your website? How easily can they identify what they need? How smoothly is their order fulfilled? Where are the natural opportunities to upsell or add value? What does the payment experience feel like? Every step shapes their perception of your brand. If customers sense high effort, confusion, or indifference from staff, they will look elsewhere. Of the four customers I saw during the visit to your location: 1) the first one was frustrated because the ingredients advertised weren't available, so instead of being guided to an alternative she had to make that choice, 2) The second customer was frustrated because there was only one person working, and while this individual was making his order, the soul worker did not acknowledge any of the other customers, so he was frustrated when the customers pulled his attention away from crafting his order, leaving him with a negative experience, 3) the third. Customer was clearly frustrated because she was purchasing premade juices, but still had to wait an under amount of time before even being acknowledged by staff, 4) the fourth customer (myself) after waiting in line and have to ask a new employee who just came on shift if I could be helped was immediately informed by the staff regarding what they were out of and what they didn't have. Here's a tip: Instead of delivering a flat "we're out," train your team to offer alternatives that keep the experience positive. If you're out of vanilla on a hot day, guide the customer toward other refreshing options. They came to you to solve a problem--thirst, hunger, comfort--and your job is to preserve that momentum. When your marketing has already done the work of getting someone to your door or onto your site, honor that investment. Even if you can't provide the exact product they wanted, create a smooth transition so you don't lose the sale, the relationship, or the goodwill. Your brand, values, and reputation are being formed in real time. Inconsistency, poor service, indifference, or discourtesy can undermine your business before it gains traction. A customer‑centered process is your competitive advantage. For customers who are trying to support your business, especially as a black owned business, you are making it hard for customers to give you their money. Please fix this.

Everyone who loves breakfast needs to get here IMMEDIATELY! We ordered the "do you dare" and received 3 items that were flawless. Perfect flavor profiles, perfect cooks, and we could not come up with one thing a dish needed. We ate the following (newest photos at end) French toast smash burger (no bacon): 15/10 French toast soft interior, crispy out. Smash burgers seasoned well and juicy. Hash brown just right. Nothing needed. Cheesesteak potato pancake tacos: 15/10-steak and potatoes seasoned perfectly. Pancake had crispy edges but still fluffy, sauce added a little kick. Nothing needed. Strawberry Mascarpone wafer French toast: 15/10-The PERFECT "I want something sweet" choice without indulging in cereal or ice cream. The strawberry and light cream were heavenly. French toast had cinnamon, crispy edges and was remarkable. We will be coming monthly to try any new items and concoctions Glen will whip up. A hole in the wall for sure, can not be seen from the street. Limited seating inside and outside. Food was perfect. We ordered the following: Pancake breakfast: 10/10 fluffy, crispy pancakes. Home fries were crisp and seasoned. Perfect for 2 kids to share The Wild West: 10/10 very fresh ingredients, good flavor and portion. Recommend. The Washington Ave: 10/10- I added Feta instead of cheddar and that sent things over. Huge sandwich. Flavor packed. Might want a little more sauce. Cappuccino: 8/10 a little too much milk (hot skim milk) Strawberry mint lemonade: 10/10 I recommend breakfast lovers get here!
