What a BAHAMA MAMA™ BOWL is supposed to look like on the left, and the bowl I received from the Cockeysville location on the right.
    Brandy H.

I came to this location to get my normal bowl and had issues with the app being able to apply my reward for my free 24oz smoothie. So I placed the order for the bowl anyways. When arriving to the store I saw my order and grabbed my bag. I waited a moment at the counter while an employee was preparing thing infront of me. I informed her of the issue I was having and had questions. She was very rude off the bat. I informed her that I placed my order online and was picking up, but was having issues with the app and still needed to order my smoothie. Her response was "I'm confused, so what's the problem if you have your order, do you want to order or not " in a passive aggressive tone. I went on to explain the same thing all over again. She then said "I don't know anything about the app but that doesn't seem to be my problem, ask the customer in line behind you". I then paused, turned and looked at the customer behind me, then turned to look at this woman again, and walked out! When I get in the car, I look at the bowl that I had just picked up (pictured on the right), and was even more angered and upset then I was with the horrible service I received. I drove to my home location which is the Nottingham store. I went in and the manager happened to be waiting on me. I explained my original issue and then informed him how I was treated at the Cockeysville store. This man was amazing. Really turned my frown upside down. He's probably the entire reason that I am still a customer for this company as whole. I purchased another bowl (same one I got at the previous location) and he discounted my smoothie, bc even he couldn't get the reward that was showing to be applied. He did go through my previous orders to verify that it had not been already redeemed. He was very apologetic and said that I am not the only customer that has had an issue with the reward not being able to be applied. I took a side my side photo of both bowls purchased and you can 100% tell a difference. (Nottinghams bowl pictured on the left) Not only in the presentation, but in quantity as well. After it was all said and done done, I wasted money on buying another bowl and am out of two of the free smoothies that were supposed to be earned. I have worked in Customer Service and the food industry for many years. From a dishwasher at the bottom to management at the top. I have never been treated this way as a customer from any company and I'm 39 years old. I am partially disabled and on a fixed limited income. I dont go to BK or McDonalds, or even Smoothie King. I choose to spend the little bit of extra money I do have on treating myself to Tropical Smoothie. But I can absolutely tell you, if it wasn't for the kindness of the manager at the Nottingham location, this company would have lost my service completely. I won't be going to Cockeysville for ANYTHING after that experience. If you don't like your job, find another one. You never know what people are going through. Something as simple as a smile or good customer service can make a customers day. But it can also be the straw that broke the camels back too. Such a disappointment this visit was.

Daughters Choice I didn't even know they had food here! I thought it was a smoothie place. Quesadillas, wraps, sandwiches and flatbreads. And you know the chicken quesadillas are good! Smoothies deal gets you a cheaper smoothie with a meal. Watermelon Mojito was thicker than expected. Lime flavored edible straw. Kinda like a sugar free Pez candy. I prefer the solid straw so I don't get confused. Health food fad place or simple Lunch place? Don't know, don't care. I do know I'll be back again.

I I had the strawberry with banana and chocolate smoothie. It was interesting. You can taste all the individual elements

Amazing service and food! I got the Blimey Limey smoothie and my girlfriend got the Bahama Mama smoothie, and a chicken bacon ranch sandwhich! The smoothies and sandwich were both amazing! Everyone working was very nice, and our stuff was finished very fast! All in all, a great place we highly recommend

Bunch of lettuce in a wrap. Very disappointing!

Great burger and cool store!…read more Came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, split a burger and fries with my husband. The burger was massive so plenty to split. It had a great bun and a delicious burger sauce. Definitely a smash burger style. Fries were a little soggy for my taste but still good. The menu is small with only about 3 other sandwiches, I think this burger is the main reason to come! The store itself is small but has a few craft food items like smaller batch chips, chocolates, assorted ingredients, and of course, a butchery. There's a few tables inside in the back and outside as well. Note that while they do sell beer and wine, they cannot on Sundays. This place is worth a stop!!

We were able to find a table to eat in. The dining area is cozy with a fireplace and shelves full of stoneware, bowls, and other kitchenwares for purchase. We ordered the cheeseburger, hot chicken sandwich and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly with the in-house made burger sauce. My husband lived the thigh chicken meat buffalo sandwich. The buffalo chicken was not overly spicy but provided a nice heat. Fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. On our way out we bought an American Waygu Denver steak, tallow, and lard which we cannot find at our local butcher. The steak cooked nicely in our cast iron but it was not a buttery or melt in your mouth as Japanese A5. I also recommend stopping by the coffee shop for a cup and pastries. The brown butter chocolate chip cookies was soft and delicious. The brownie was rich and decadent

So the hot mozzarella sticks are finally back--and yeah, they're exactly what I was waiting for…read more Super gooey, stuffed with cheese, and honestly messy in the best way. No complaints there. I also tried the buffalo chicken bites with slaw. The flavor is solid--good buffalo heat without going overboard--but the bites themselves felt a little inconsistent in size and crispiness. Some were perfect, others a bit soft like they sat for a minute too long. The slaw helped balance everything out though. The place itself is very modern and loud on purpose--graffiti-style walls, music blasting, more of a "hangout and vibe" spot than somewhere you're trying to have a quiet meal. Not bad, just depends on your mood. Pickup was smooth--my order was ready when I got there, and the staff were actually nice and helpful, not the rushed/checked-out vibe you sometimes get at busy spots. Only real critique: the music was a bit too loud for a pickup situation. I get the atmosphere they're going for, but it's borderline overwhelming if you're just grabbing food and leaving. Overall though, I'd come back. The mozzarella sticks alone are doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

I walked in once at lunch time and the line was out the door, so I learned my lesson and called ahead. Person on the phone didn't tell me how long or gave me a number, however, i figured 10-15 minutes would be reasonable. Partner picked it up and said it was fairly busy. I ordered the Virginian sandwich - grilled turkey, coleslaw, swiss, and thousand island dressing on rye, partner ordered an italian cold cut. Both sandwiches were about $20 total, which is a decent price for lunch nowadays! my sandwich was a solid 8/10, I would say my partner felt the same about his. It's a simple, well-made sandwich. Nothing more, nothing less. I would rate them a 4.5 if i could, simply because these sandwiches were nothing to write home about. But, nonetheless, we both got what we wanted, and for the price, portion, and convenience, I would simply feel prissy giving them anything less than a 5.

I was craving a classic sandwich for lunch last week, so I drove over to Taneytown Deli. Their menu is enormous, so I needed a few minutes to read, only to choose my favorite classic deli sandwich - egg salad with some added mustard. The sandwich was exactly what I wanted: simple and traditional, but well done. The service was fast. The deli has plenty of inside seating, but you can always take your sandwich to go, too! I'll definitely be back for more classic sandwiches!
